They installed the piping then said the stove was not compatible with the pad so they could not finish the installation. however the workers said their job was done and asked for final payment. Renters called this company to come and clean our chimney, the technician left the pellet stove not working. whatever he did when he pulled out the unit caused the issue according to the tenant When we called to get technician to come back we had to wait over 20 days for an appointment which the technician didn't show up, and when called he was 30 minutes away. We should have booked this with someone else and I recommend you book with another company. Luna had looked at our chimney before we had natural gas put to the house. Instead of coming out after the gas lines were run (to see where they were), they said they'd be able to hook up a fireplace with the line beneath. Price was fine, but vague about potential cost overruns. They constantly rescheduled work on us to accommodate other customers. None of the appointments or the work happened during the time frames they laid out. When on site they were consistently missing parts and having to leave the house. Luna actually refused to hook up the gas to the unit, so we had to call an additional plumber in to get the line closer to the unit... and Luna still refused to hook it up, saying it was someone else's job. Luna straight up forgot to order or misordered the surround, meaning we had to wait an additional 2 weeks for that to be installed. The appointment for the surround to be installed was supposed to be between 9-11am, but they took on an additional job that paid more so we got bumped without anyone calling us to let us know. TD:LR Our experience with Luna has beep extremely poor. If you are in doubt about working with a smaller company like this, go with your gut and pick a bigger business. If you go with them, get everything in writing on price and set your expectations low on the service you get if you're not spending $10k with them. read more

I liked these guys. They showed up on time (more or less). Friendly, professional and amazingly didn't try to "up-sell" me to any additional services. Cleaned the chimney, told me it looked pretty good in there and explained a little about chimney cleaning and how I could tell when it would be time for another one, and off they went. I took one star off because the girl who schedules the appointments sounds like she was "born tired and raised lazy". I felt like I had to talk fast before she fell asleep on the phone. read more

Luna swept my chimney in 2018 and their rate was standard ($185). The work seemed fine. They were only on the premises for about half the time of my prior sweep. In 2019 they returned, and after the sweep showed me images of chunks falling off the inside of the smoke chamber, as well as presenting me with some of the actual chunk-pieces. They said this is a fire hazard and a repair to do immediately. Luna also said my chimney exterior is spalling and taking on water. I waited three weeks to receive a proposal/quote, which I just received today ($1,000 smoke chamber, $3,400 chimney exterior). In the mean time, however, I had contacted my original sweep who installed our liner upon moving into the house. He came out, showed me what he presumed were chisel marks in the smoke chamber, and also refuted the chimney spalling. Also noted there's no fire hazard inside the chamber. I'm not in this business and am not an expert at all. However, based on what I was told by the second opinion, it seems that Luna may have exacerbated damage to my smoke chamber. At present, I'm not sure if Luna is a company to be trusted or not. Their Yelp footprint is only 6 reviews (3.5/5 stars), and only have 13 reviews (3.5/5 stars) on Google. I had a good experience dealing with this company. I was very pleased with my new chimney installation. They were always on time and did a good job. I think they are honestly and do not try to overcharge people. Mark is a knowledge guy as well as the person that works with him. I read the review about the lady that answers the phone and I actually think she is a nice lady. This is the first time I am writing a dissatisfied review. In mid-August of this year I had someone from this company do an inspection of my chimney. The young man was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. I was charged $90.00 and was informed that it would take 10 days to receive a proposal through email for the work that needed to be done. I was patient and waited 3 1/2 weeks before I called the office to find out what the hold up was. The women in the office was very helpful and sweet, and understood my issue. I was told by the office that they were very busy and did not have a proposal done for me. They also informed me that they were very behind in their work partially due to the weather. The This I understand! However, they found time to cash my check. I do not understand why I did not receive a phone call letting me know of the issues they were having. I was told that now they would not have an opening until December. I asked for my money back or even just half of the money, due to their lack of communication to the customer and no proposal. I was told that the owner said that he would not return any of my money. What kind of customer service is this???? I needed to purchase a wood burning stove, a chimney liner and cleaning.
