The pilot is on and shut off for safety reasons after about one week of non-use, but the remote that I paid for as well as the thermostat that I paid for don't work either! At this point, I've had a huge stove to heat my basement for two years now, and it only worked for the first two months. I have been leaving messages nearly monthly for the last two years and I'm so frustrated at the lack of response. When I do get a callback, dave the owner tells me to call some plumber that I did not use basically telling me that it's a plumbing issue but the plumbing is totally fine. There is a pilot in the stove and it works. I tell him specifically that I need his son, Chris's phone number, and he never replies. When is enough enough? I'm hoping that this review will prompt them to give me a call once and for all and help me resolve this issue. Sorry dave ‍
