I found ring pop gummies here & my husband ate them in a day. Tons of toys & stuffed animals. One thing I will say is their prices were a bit high. But I imagine with cost of operation these days it makes sense and I am in a spot where I can support this small business (reasonably). It is a super fun store. Use caution bringing a small child into this store, as there will be several things within their reach and they will probably want to get their hands on everything. Going into Dear Golden is like walking into a wearable museum. This is the nicest, classist, most tastefully curated vintage store I've been in. They also started doing more jewelry and home goods too which don't stay around long so I always see something new they have put out. I also like that the owner and Jasmine (love her) are never pushy or walking around trying to up sell me things they know don't fit quite right or don't match my hair. To the contrary, when I need any help they will whisk into the changing room to tie up that corset one more half inch if I give them a little wink. Finally, I love that they are extremely knowledgeable about the historical significance of the clothes and jewelry. They know all the top--and lesser known albeit important--designers of the various periods and they have encyclopedic breadth of why the clothes were designed and worn. With all the nice articles in there, makes me wonder what's in her storage...guess I'll just have to wait and come back soon.

I emailed the owner looking for a dress I had previously tried on in store and she had it available and ready online to purchase immediately! That timing was rare and special! I received it four days later! All the reviews about staff being snobby.... I don't understand at all. My partner and I travel to different shops such as this across the US and collect unique items... there are snobby people but dear golden... they aren't them. People reviewing saying they are, now that sounds snobby. I wish dear golden all the best and can't wait to return.

However when I saw this very cool looking sea turtle shirt I decided to take a chance, and it paid off. I ordered it, got a confirmation, got a notice when it shipped, track it, and 13 days later it arrived in my mailbox. It's a very light material with bold colors and fits great so I'm a happy sea turtle lovin' customer. Although I was a little nervous when a 3X shirt came in a really small package in my mailbox, but it's a light material and those guys know how to fold stuff. Where are they on our laundry days? While they do have an address in Belleville, Michigan they are apparently made in China, which is not normally my choice of shirts, but this one is just wicked cool and, one again, I just couldn't resist the temptation. Their products include Hawaiian and tie dye shirts, my favorites, as well as blankets for him, her, and dig and cat lovers. (A little limited and strange but it got my attention.
