We booked Ryan for our wedding and could not have been happier! Most importantly, he got everyone out on the dance floor and moving. He also did a great job with the transitions into/out of some of the key songs (like our first dance) and also gave us some really good advice on how to order thing so the evening really flowed. He had handled the audio/mics for the ceremony and reception perfectly. Would 100% recommend! read more

I can't say enough great things about Ryan and Just Dance Events. He was the DJ and MC for our wedding, handled the lighting on top of that, and coordinated with a colleague to create an amazingly produced mashup for our surprise first dance. We were very overwhelmed, as we didn't have a wedding planner, and had to manage everything ourselves. When I met Ryan, I thought he was just a DJ. But he ended up being one of the most instrumental people in bringing the wedding together. He helped with timeline creation, figuring out lighting and power requirements, and was there for us every step of the way. As stressed as we were, he made us feel so at ease. We truly could not have done it without him. I can't recommend Ryan highly enough for both his DJ and lighting services, especially if you are looking for someone that is experienced, has done hundreds of events, and can act as a collaborator through the planning process. read more

RYAN IS THE BEST - it's truly that simple. Lol Look NO FURTHER and take this as your sign to book him as your DJ/MC for your wedding! :) We found out about Ryan through our wedding planner (Tres Chic Affairs) and they only use the best vendors out there. So when they said I HAVE to go with Ryan, I didn't have a doubt in my mind! AND they were not wrong. Ryan truly is the best DJ/MC there ever was. Ryan was so organized, the best communicator, so present, informative, accommodating and has the best energy about him. He goes above and beyond what his "requirements" are, he was such a significant part of our day and I am so grateful for him. He even texted me the week of the wedding just to make sure I was feeling okay - the sweetest soul! He made me feel so comfortable and at ease. It's so important you feel that from any vendor the day of your wedding and Ryan made sure I didn't have to worry about a thing! I have been to countless weddings and I have never seen a DJ bring friends/family together like this! People that didn't even know each other were dancing together and having the time of their lives. He has the best sense of humor and is super professional at the same time! Everyone adored him and I've already given 3 people his number since our wedding that wasn't even a full month ago! He is so talented and reads the audience so well and what they're loving/wanting. Ryan helped me choose important songs, let me create little mock up playlists for him, was super responsive, and had the best timing and energy making all the announcements. Ryan is stuck with me now because I will never use another DJ for any event! Lol HE IS IT. Thank you for everything Ryan!!!!! :) read more

DJ Chris was AMAZING! He kept our party going and was more than just a DJ - he helped make pictures go by quickly and played all the songs we asked. Our party was everything we wanted and I truly appreciate all of his help and patience with me as the bride who stressed a little and over thought a bunch :) His suggestions on songs were a hit and his extra touches helped to make it the best night of our lives! Thank you!!! read more

HIRE JDE!!!! You and your guest will have a GREAT time. DJ Ryan has been doing this for over a decade and exudes this, "I got this" vibe but not in cocky way. He's down to earth and very easy to work with and that's why we hired him. His professionalism and ability to communicate well is why his company is so successful. He definitely knows his music and lives up to ALL the positive Yelp reviews and then some. The Photo Booth is a MUST HAVE. Your guests will be entertained with all the props and you will discover another side of your "Aunt Rose", "Cousin Gene", etc. Plus, the memories afterwards are HILARIOUS!!!! We wish JDE continued success and will see them at our next event. read more

We hired Just Dance events for our August 17th wedding. We had John (DJ Vallon) as our DJ/MC. From our initial interview/meeting with him, it was very clear that he had lots of experience and knew what he was talking about. To us, having a great DJ/MC for our wedding was one of the most important things - we wanted someone who knew what they were doing and could keep the night (and the fun) flowing. From Day 1 it was clear we had made the right decision. John was very professional and easy to work with. He was even helpful in making timeline recommendations during the planning process that would help the night flow even better. We gave him a list of music selections and he took care of the rest. With all the stress that comes with planning a wedding, it was a huge relief that we didn't have to worry about John. From the moment he started, he kept the energy high at our reception. He knew how to get EVERYONE on the dance floor and keep them there. We received feedback from many of our guests that it was one of the most fun weddings that they had ever been to. I know John was front and center in making that happen. Thanks John!!! read more

4/5 stars- DJ 3.5 stars- MC PROs -Good music. DJ Ryan was good at keeping in theme with most of the types of music that we liked. -Good at keeping our guests on the dance floor. I think Ryan would get on the dance floor to lead group dances, if needed. I know some of our older guests asked for ballroom music, but I'm glad he didn't yield to their request as it was a select few. -Coordinating an activity that split his attention 3-way. -Bringing an assistant for a large reception to help him out. CONs -Late. A few of the DJ/MCs we interviewed usually show up 2-3 hours prior to the event for setup. Ryan told us he will try to be there 2 hours prior to our event. 1 week before the reception, he changed it to 1.5 hours prior to the event reiterating that he would come to us to touch base with us first when he got there as he knew we had a photo shoot 1 hour prior to the event. He got there late so we rushed through instructions (i.e. setup of equipment, dance instructions, etc.) which caused us to be late for our photo shoot. -Incorrect Announcement. Though I sent Ryan a detailed spreadsheet with the schedule of events and spoke to him on the phone about it, which he seemed to understand well at the time, he incorrectly announced: 1. the time of an event 2. after we asked him to correct it, which he did, he incorrectly added that we were exiting even though there was still 1 hour left at the reception. Our guests were so confused that they ended up leaving early thinking we were leaving, which was sad because we didn't get to spend as much time with some of our friends. Overall, our guests had fun, but they did say they were confused by the announcement. PS- We provided this constructive feedback to Ryan afterwards via email (which he is responsive to), but haven't heard back. read more

Chris was our DJ from Just Dance Events, and we just couldn't be happier with the level of high quality service he provided in advance and the day of our wedding. I've been in multiple weddings, and I have never seen a DJ who is SO committed to not only creating a fun and engaging environment, but tending to my groom and I's every need. He even helped our photographer set up shots! Every break we had during photo time, he was there holding my champagne or a beer for my groom. During dinner/speeches, he was clear with what was going on, what was going to happen next, etc, but never rushed us through anything. I was pretty picky about what music NOT to play at our wedding (I can't handle cheesy wedding songs) and he found a good mix that everyone could dance to, and used the songs that I really wanted to hear in well placed spots. He even came by our after party to celebrate with us, he felt like a friend at the end of the night and we were so happy to have such a great DJ and person be a part of our wedding. THANK YOU CHRIS! read more

Simply put, he was the best investment of the night!!! What more can I say that hasn't already been said of Ryan and Just Dance? Can't say enough great things about Ryan. He was the MC and DJ for our special night and one of our favorite vendors to work with! Quite a number of my guests commented how great he was. He kept the entire evening moving and controlled the night. With a flip of Ryan's switch the crowd of 180 was full of energy. Couldn't have asked for better atmosphere for the night. Because of him, most people stayed til the very end of the night. We didn't have to worry about a thing, which was a great relief. Ryan directed our photographers and videographers so they knew when to eat, and when to capture our every special moment. His game ideas were funny, entertaining and appropriate for our unique crowd. Ryan was professional and personal. Never once did we feel he was in it for the money. His prices were quite reasonable. He genuinely cared and did his best to make sure our night was as perfect as can be. He works out of Orange County and met us at our site (40 miles away), twice! Ryan offered to help our song selection as much or as little as we would like. Since we were busy with everything else, we selected a few of our favorites and left everything in his hands. We are so glad we did. Based on the few songs we suggested, Ryan picked a perfect collection of songs to play throughout the evening. What a headache prevented! He matched the lighting to the atmosphere of the evening and used it to keep our crowd excited and dancing. We've searched around for a wedding DJ and found the best in Ryan. Thanks again!!! read more

I can't believe how awesome Chris is. Not only as a dj, but as a friendly leader to a group of people who don't know what is coming up next (our guests), a problem solver (when our game questions disappeared), a great accommodator (helping us figure out how to personally serve cake to each of our guests), and timely music provider (my mid-song pop music as I walked down the aisle with my dad started perfectly on time and he managed to not make it sound cut off when we were ready to start the ceremony). Chris did so much more than be a great dj. He made sure our drinks didn't get lost- literally picking them up off the table after I set them down, and giving them back between having our photos taken by our photographer. He followed my fiance and I with bottles of water. It was like magic, as soon as I finished one he had the next opened and ready for me and still cold! Throughout the night he made sure Harold and I were happy by checking in on us, and reminded us "hey, this is YOUR wedding. If you still need time to eat/talk with guests/drink coffee, just let me know. You need to enjoy yourselves, everything else can wait." Our guests thought he was just as awesome. They liked his voice, appreciated his clear and timely announcements, and how amicable he was on the mic. He was able to lead our guests without harsh and random announcements. It kept our night going smoothly. I should also say, in addition to being spectacular on the day of- he was just as easy going when meeting him in person. His company is organized, leverages a website to keep your wedding clear and planned out (he didn't miss a single song), and prompt with followup. He reminded us of due dates we needed to meet for choosing songs, he helped us figure out what we needed to move music smoothly from location to location during our wedding, and in the most cost efficient way. Also, my fiance and I HAD to smile when we looked at him rocking out on the dance floor. It was like we had hired a friend who already loved the same music we loved. He was singing, dancing, and transitioning seamlessly from song to song. Loved it. He really made our night special- it truly wouldn't have been the same without him. Make an intro meeting with him- he will make the rest of your decisions for your wedding day so much easier. There were things he brought up that we hadn't discussed with my wedding planner (and she was also top tier), which helped us plan out small details for our very involved wedding. read more

I was married during the end of the year and didn't want an obnoxious DJ, and Ryan was perfect! My wedding was weird, had dogs, no bridal party, no bouquet toss, no "grand entrance," and was pretty quick. Ryan did a wonderful job, played along with our requests, and he was just so nice and pleasant to work with. I loved the online site for requests and feel that this was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. He even humored my husband's request to play CAKE during the cake cutting. Sigh. :) I am so glad I hired him! read more

DJ Ryan was EXCELLENT in every way possible! From the get go, he was fun, cool, and an easy going person to work with. Just Dance has an online planner that is simple to fill out and has all the info he needs to make your event special. He DJ'd and emcee'd my wedding on Oct. 12 and was just a joy to work with. He did a great job directing our guests where to go and what to do. Since we were running out of time, we told him to play the songs we wanted for a few minutes and move on to the next and he was able to mix it and blend it in so well. Everyone enjoyed the music selection! He also checked in with us throughout to tell us what's next in line (father-daughter dance, grand introductions, etc). When we were sitting at the sweetheart table, he even stopped by occasionally to see if we wanted more champagne and just see how we're doing, Way above and beyond! If I have any other special events that need this type of service, I would definitely use DJ Ryan again. In the meantime, I totally recommend Just Dance with DJ Ryan and you will not be disappointed. read more

DJ, EMCEE, LIGHTING, PHOTOBOOTH- Just Dance Events has it all! DJ Ryan Damron worked our wedding in May and he was nothing short of amazing! Our dance floor was ALWAYS packed with our guests of all ages. His song selection was perfect! The vibe he created was so infectious, even if someone didn't know the song, they didn't want to leave the dance floor. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! As the MC, he was top-notch. He looked great and held our guests' attention without being obnoxious or cheesy,....which seems to be the MO of DJ I have seen at other weddings. We loved how he would come up to us to make sure we were ok, if we needed anything, and to let us when the next event, ie father/daughter dance etc, would be coming up or if he thought we should change to order of something. Everything went smoothly and we had a blast. The lighting was fabulous and truly transformed our reception room. If you are debating whether to include a lighting package...don't...just do it! It makes a world of difference. We are still receiving compliments on great our room looked. We were so impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail....from our meeting with him to our actual event. During the toasts, he discreetly brought up a box of tissues when the maid of honor started to tear up and same thing when my Dad was up there and didn't a glass in hand to toast us. At our meetings with Ryan listened to our ideas and was great with feedback on what he thought would work and gave suggestions when he thought we could do something differently, which we really appreciated. The online planner JDE provides was so helpful! We were able to see the timeline we created with Ryan and enter song selections and note "must play", "play if possible", and "do not play." ((He did not play any of our do not play songs...even though we had some guests request them.)) We were also able to select and change our important songs ie mother/son dance etc. We love that the planner also listed top wedding songs to help give us some ideas. The photobooth was the perfect addition to our reception! Our guests loved it and both young and old took their turn in there. JDE had the funnest props to use as well. The photos were priceless! Ryan had suggested to us to bring a scrapbook and pens to have our guests glue a photo strip and write us a message to keep as a memento. That scrapbook is one of our most cherished things from our wedding. It was such a treat to have photos right after the wedding since it takes a few weeks to see photos from your photographer. My husband and I were disappointed with some of our vendors...but not Ryan. We would highly recommend Ryan and Just Dance Events! read more

Hiring Ryan as our DJ was definitely one of the best vendor decisions we made in the wedding planning process. He was easy to work with and flawlessly executed all his DJ duties on our Big Day. We never had a worry since Ryan was on top of everything and did an amazing job of reading our crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor. Friends and family whom we never thought we'd see on the dance floor were going crazy. He even handled things like stalling the crowd when I realized that I had forgot to put on my garter (I realized this right after the bouquet toss, whoops!) like a pro. Ryan went above and beyond our expectations and helped us have one of the most fun nights of our lives. Highly highly recommended! read more

We used Just Dance for our wedding on 8/24. They were fantastic. Their online event planner is easy to use. You can put special songs, requests, and make payments through PayPal. We had several songs that were not in the library and they were able to find them not a problem at all. Ryan called me about a week before to go over everything and figure out a timeline. Made me feel more comfortable. He was on top of things. The day of the event he was on time and had everything set up perfectly. Great MC. Kept communication open with us. Payed attention to what kind of music we liked and incorporated that perfectly. Kept the crowd dancing. He was great. Perfect and wouldn't change a thing! read more

Ryan Damron hosted and DJed my wedding at Ponte Vineyards on 10/21/12. Simply stated, he was my most professional, efficient, pleasant and reliable vendor I hired for the wedding. I contacted Ryan solely based upon his 5-star ratings on Yelp and booked him immediately after only speaking on the phone. It was a little risky, but Ryan's professionalism and attentive communication shortly put me at ease. Before and during the wedding day, he coordinated with other musicians, our wedding coordinator, and the catering staff to ensure everything ran smoothly. This type of above and beyond attitude to provide a job well done is priceless on your special day. My favorite moment was right after our first dance, Ryan asked everyone to join us on the dance floor for another slow dance as a group. I kid you not, the dance floor was so over-crowded people had to dance on the carpet surrounding it! Ryan and his team know how to get peoples' attention and get them involved - and most importantly, having fun! I have already recommended Just Dance Events to all my friends and family and will continue to do so. read more

I usually don't write an unsolicited review of praise for a job well done, but in this case I have felt very compelled to do so. Quite simply there are certain people who deserve to be recognized for their outstanding service, and Ryan with JDE is one of those people. Ryan did an outstanding job dj'ing our wedding on 8-10-12. Not only did he do a superb job during the wedding, but also leading up to it. His communication was very effective, his online planning tool was instrumental in getting our "Vision" across, and he executed everything beautifully. Ryan your performance, professionalism, and expertise leading up to and during our wedding was nothing short of phenomenal. J&I wish you nothing but the best!!! read more

David Krieger DJ'd our wedding on July 20th and was super fantastic! We went over our ideas of what we wanted to be played before, during and after dinner...which ranged from 40's (for the old folk) Country, and today's music, we didn't want anything sappy during dinner, we wanted to keep it up-beat so our guests knew the fun was coming. David did such a great job of mixing all these different styles of music! When the dancing started....it never stopped! His mixes where amazing - never over played a song. Never tried to steal the show... I can't say enough about David...very fun & very professional. And not bad to look at either!! :) read more

Ryan DJed our wedding on 8/31 at the St. Regis, and he was amazing! My fiance and I sent him a bunch of songs we loved, and he did a fabulous job mixing songs to keep our guests dancing until 1 AM. We also had a Lebanese band, and Ryan did an awesome job with the transitions between the band and recorded music. His MCing was classy but fun - exactly what my parents and I were hoping for. Ryan was also super responsive to our emails, and the online portal kept us informed. We also used JDE for uplighting. We got a great package, and the room looked gorgeous. For a stress-free and incredible wedding, I would absolutely recommend Ryan and JDE!! read more

Ryan did an amazing job for our wedding! He played great music for our whole wedding--cocktail hour, reception, the works! He even had an awesome photo booth and props! We hired Ryan as our DJ and MC for the reception and he was awesome! Ryan is extremely flexible with what you want. He can be conservative to getting down on the dance floor if that's what you want. He made sure to ask what sort of atmosphere we wanted to have for our wedding. It was easy to plan meetings with him (we usually used Skype or Google Hangout since it was more convenient for us), but he made sure to tell us that he was readily available through email and phone as well. He paid close attention to our 'must play' list and just as important the 'do not play' list. And based on the reaction of our guests and our song lists, he selected appropriate songs. He will keep your guests entertained! Book Ryan and you won't regret it! read more

My wedding was on 12/1/12 and i finally got some time to yelp John from Just Dance Events. This guy is amazing!! I am Vietnamese American and my husband is Korean American, some how he got everyone on the dance floor with his up beat personality and music. My father and mother even got down on the dance floor. John was not only a great DJ but he was my life saver. I completely forgot my garter belt for the wedding, JOHN to the rescue had an emergency garter and we were able to continue on garter football game. Lastly, my mom hired a band!!! Big mistake. This band was horrible! I came up to John to nicely cut the band off and never let them back one again!!! John did just that. Wedding crisis saved!! YOU MUST hire this guy, he really carters to the bride and groom needs. THANK YOU JOHN, you are the best!!! read more

Ryan did an amazing job as MC and DJ at our small wedding of 50 people at Shutters on the Beach. Using his website to add our requested songs, timeline and important people was easy and fun. Was out in the LA area for a wedding recently and could not get enough of this DJ! I'm generally a band kind of girl when it comes to weddings, but this guy was good enough to make me think twice... If only they'd known about Just Dance they probably would have gotten something a little nicer off their registry! read more

My husband and I had an exceptional experience working with Ryan as our wedding DJ. Ryan was flexible, easy going and put us at ease when we lost our initial MC a few months before the wedding! This was a major relief. Our guests partied the night away, which was a pleasant surprise because we had an intimate outdoor wedding and it was chilly! Speaks to the great song selection. The exit was fantastic too when we formed a tunnel with sparklers. Thank you for being so professional and dependable Ryan! read more

This review is long overdue! We were married back in August 2016 at the Bowers Museum and DJ Chris Mowery was the best MC ever for our reception!!!!!! He drove quite a ways to meet in person with me about a month before our wedding and was so knowledgable of his craft and welcoming of my vision. I am a professional dancer and had a flashmob planned to surprise my groom. Chris was so awesome in helping me pull it off without a hitch. When my groom and I arrived to our reception space, Chris brought us water and made sure we had everything we needed all night. He is a super kind, thoughtful, fun guy who I would recommend to any couples on their wedding day. My friends were raving for days after about how wonderful the DJ was and he was out there having fun with us! read more

i played in a band for my friends' wedding at the LA River Center and Gardens this weekend. the groom specifically chose John based on the venue's recommendation that he did sound there frequently and could set up for a live band. listen, there were a lot of things John couldn't figure out (including getting power to half the band and routing us through the speakers--you know, the things that make a band audible). but despite his incompetence at something he was hired to do, if John had a better attitude i wouldn't be leaving a review. he seemed unwilling to help at every turn and made our job a lot harder. despite my attempts to smile and be polite to him even after the whole fiasco, he still scowled and was very short with me, not even responding to my questions half the time. it sounds like everyone else who's reviewed him had a great experience, so maybe he's awesome just as a DJ, but don't hire him if you expect anything outside of that. sounds like Ryan is pretty cool, though. 8/27 - UPDATE!!! i'm updating my review because at the end i said, "sounds like Ryan is pretty cool." i was basing that off all of the 5-star reviews where people mentioned him by name. soon after posting the review, Ryan sent me a private message claiming that i could cause him a "serious potential loss of business" (i doubt that since they still have 5 stars). he asked that i call the DJ, John, and "work out our differences." he was also concerned that my review seemed "very personal" and not reflective of everyone else's night. (i didn't have the heart to tell him that the entire point of Yelp is to post personal experiences.) as i was crafting a polite response to Ryan's polite (if misguided) message, he posted a public comment on my review. i guess since i didn't respond within a couple of hours, his attitude turned sour. i'm editing this into my original review instead of clicking "update" because i didn't want to give them another 1-star review and cost him millions of dollars in potential clients. anyway, like i said, Ryan seems pretty cool! read more

We hired Ryan for our wedding at the Langham for both ceremony and reception as DJ and MC, and he was very professional and did an excellent job. He selected great music meeting the style we were looking for based on only a few example songs we gave him, got the right mix of staying in the background running the music when appropriate, MCing on the mic for the speeches creating a smoothly flowing but energetic reception, and also creating some fun running the reception games and even leading people on the dance floor! He also provided great lighting, and AV equipment for our slide show, and was adaptable and worked with the groomsman during setup when we had a last minute AV compatibility issue. Great all-around service and met our budget. Thanks Ryan! read more

Every 5-star review here is 100% true. Ryan is AWESOME and such a pleasure to work with. We met with him a couple of times in preparation for our wedding and each time we came away feeling like he just seemed to "get it." Turned out that we were right because on the Big Day, he flawlessly executed all his DJ duties. We never had to worry since Ryan was on top of everything and did an amazing job directing our guests where to go and what to do, reading our crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor. He also has a great lighting system that added so much to the ambience of our wedding both during dinner and on the dance floor. Hiring Ryan as our DJ was one of the best vendor decisions we made! We booked Just Dance Events for our wedding in September. Ryan was our DJ/MC and was so awesome! We knew we wanted to work with him from the first time we met for a consultation. I actually found him on Yelp because of his high rating. I hadn't seen any advertisements for him on the usual wedding websites, but after working with him, I can completely understand why he doesn't need to advertise. I'm sure his word-of-mouth recommendations have him booked up! He was so personable and easy to work with, and also provided a lot of services for a great price. Through JDE, we had Ryan for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to handle the music/MC duties, and they also provided dance floor lighting. We also added on the photo booth package through JDE and it was such a hit! Our guests had so much fun taking pictures with all the props (also provided by JDE) and we asked guests to put a copy of their picture with a message in our guestbook. It was so hilarious to look through all the pictures after it was complete. Ryan also mailed us a digital copy of all the pictures taken in the booth that night, but we are still trying to get through them all. Our friends and family went a little overboard with photo booth---luckily for us the package was for unlimited photo strips! I never realized how busy a DJ would be, but Ryan handled it all so easily. He kept us and our wedding party on track all night. He made sure we were all where we need to be, when we needed to be there, and helped with advice on the general timeline for weddings. We, along with our guests, were so impressed with the music he was playing as well. We already had a fun group of people as guests, but EVERYONE was on the dance floor for most of the night. Ryan played the perfect songs, at the perfect times. So many of our friends told us that night that the "DJ is amazing!" and they are still calling to tell us it the best wedding ever. They also have a planning website where you can manage everything online. As a very organized bride, I loved being able to upload my timeline, wedding party information, and any song requests (and "Do Not Play" songs!) so easily. Another small, but important thing that we liked about JDE was that the payments were so easy to make! I made the initial payment by credit card when I signed the contract, but after that I was able to make PayPal payments right through his planner website. It was so much easier than having to write a check or get cash or a money order. You wouldn't think that was so important, but when you're in the final weeks of planning and have a million things to do, it makes a huge difference. As if we weren't happy enough with the service we received from JDE, Ryan and his business partner both contacted me the following week to make sure I was happy and everything had gone as planned. Ryan was great, the music was perfect, the photo booth was a hit and we all had so much fun that night! read more

Ryan was our DJ for our wedding in June and I have to say that hiring Ryan was the best decision ever! From the moment we met Ryan, he was friendly and very informative. We gave him our budget and he was willing to work with it. Working with him was easy; a simple email to him and all my questions were answered. On the day of our wedding, he showed up, was dressed professionally, and he delivered! He played all the songs on our must play list plus some that we're requested by our guests and he even got on the dance floor to show us some moves to a dance! He was also the emcee for the wedding and he kept all our guests entertained and the lighting job they did was perfect! My venue was outdoors and lighting was an issue but he did an amazing job. I couldn't have been any happier with what Ryan did! I would hire him again if I have another big event! read more

Ryan was a fantastic DJ for our wedding on numerous levels. First, an extremely professional guy who worked with us on our "vision" for the wedding reception music. He was accommodating when we were hands-off at the beginning of planning, and even more accommodating as became more hands-on at the last minute. Second, at the wedding itself he was a terrific emcee, taking last changes to the agenda in stride and helping keep things flowing smoothly. We really didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying ourselves and mingling with friends. He was very discreet but still came by on occasion to see if he could help with anything, which was awesome. Finally, he was an ideal DJ, playing background music we wanted that truly flowed together. We actually dispensed with a dance floor at the last minute (daytime wedding, moved all the tables indoors), but his lighthearted music still had our 2-year old daughter dancing on her own. At the end, as a mark of true professionalism, he kept the music playing even as the vendors came early to start stacking the chairs, because there were still a group of us still mingling. Terrible form on the part of the chair vendors, but kudos to Ryan for keeping the reception alive until the end. Well done Ryan, thanks for all your help in making our wedding a success. read more

Chris was an amazing DJ and Emcee! We told him to expect a crowd of young and old who would already want to get on the dance floor, but he kept them there all night. Excellent balance of music to keep everyone happy. As for taking care of me, the bride, Chris was like a ninja with radar, appearing out of thin air with a cocktail for me in hand before dancing off into the crowd. There was zero interruption to the party flow, but always aware of the details to keep us happy! If there were any issues that evening, I didn't know about them. The party went on well into the night and Chris just fit in like a friend at the party! Just Dance Events arranged for our uplighting, which really added to the ambiance. We also had our ceremony in a different space than our reception and needed a second DJ to cover it. Even though we did not meet this second DJ in advance, he nailed all of our songs for the ceremony and it was awesome. read more

Ryan was phenomenal and instrumental in making our reception special. He was easy to contact before the event wand was open to ideas and incredibly informative and experienced. He put together an amazing playlist for our wedding, and several of our guests complimented us on the music selection as well as his outgoing demeanor and personality. He lent his hand in all aspects of the wedding including instructing us on the cake cutting, bouquet/garter tosses, first dance, and group shots. He is fantastic and easy to work with, and I will call on his services again in the future without a second thought. Thank you Ryan and company! read more

John did a great job dj'ing our wedding at the Long Beach Museum of Art. We were both very impressed at how he was able to incorporate our own requests (that we made through a pretty easy to use website), with other songs that fit the vibe of the night. He really knew how to play a wide range of music that appealed to different groups in a pretty seamless fasion. Since the wedding, we have been getting a lot of positive feedback from our guests about our DJ.They especially loved the trivia game that John came up with during dinner. Most importantly, he was able to go with the flow. Our reception started a little late, but John was able to adapt and only asked us questions that were absolutely necessary. There was never any stress involved. I would defintely recommend John for any wedding reception/party. His price was reasonable, and his performance was excellent. read more

Oh wow, this company is amazing!!! They really know how to throw a great wedding. I attend my friends wedding and Just Dance Events had the most amazing LED lighting!!! The music play-list for the reception was out of this world.. non of that corny, cheesy music that you hear at most weddings when the crowd needs a pick me up... Loved the on-line play-list program.. My girlfriend and I spend many nights drinking wine adding to her list for the big day... Ryan coordinates with the caterers and photogrpahers/videographers to make the wedding flow in a timely manner. This alleviates pressure on the bride so they aren't peppering her with questions. This guys definitley knows what he's doing and you can tell he as tons of experience.. I'm definietely gonna use for my big event :-) read more
