Great food, great service, great ambiance. Had the seafood platter and the fried green tomatoes…read morewith the crab cakes were soooo good. We all really enjoyed our meal here and we got there right around 5pm and it were seated immediately. Great place to get some really good seafood.

We chose Harry T's while celebrating my mom's 80th birthday before the fireworks, and unfortunately…read morethe food was the biggest disappointment of the evening. The location and atmosphere are fantastic, but the kitchen simply didn't deliver. The Fried Green Tomatoes lacked the crisp texture you'd expect from such a classic appetizer. My daughter's 8 oz. filet had virtually no seasoning and tasted surprisingly bland, especially considering the price. I ordered the Wedge Salad with fried chicken, and the chicken suffered from the exact same issue--it was nothing more than fried protein with absolutely no flavor. The biggest letdown, however, was the salad dressing. At this price point, I expect a restaurant to serve a fresh, house-made dressing. Instead, it tasted like something poured straight from a jar. A great wedge salad deserves a dressing that complements it, not one that feels like an afterthought. Harry T's certainly has the views and the location, but great scenery can't make up for under-seasoned food and shortcuts in the kitchen. There are too many excellent restaurants in Destin to settle for an average meal. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you're hoping for food that matches the price tag.

Alright panhandlers…read more.. Seems like there's always one spot every year that gets the "Nah, never again" medal of distinguished dishonor along US98. We spend $$$$ every year for at least the last decade in search of the best, buttercup the bizarre and the bogus. For 2026, this award belongs to none other than Jackacuda's... and here's why I should have KNOWN "voted best sushi" awards at the door that it was gonna be a problem. And it was. First stop: the sushi... Or whatever won an award that couldn't have possibly been given by anyone unless they'd been literally fermented. I've had good sushi, bad sushi, ok sushi, dangerous sushi, transcendent sushi... But this? For the price of the good stuff I got... Re-gummed baby niblets. Tf?? The fries were good. The water decent (that's a thing... Pompano Joe's) The rest of the menu... Passable. And both cocktail and mock tails could have been left. One of the kiddos has become a crab maniac...as in cracking crab legs EVERY night for a week. But how, for $26, did we get like 3 little legs and a claw? Basura. (we corrected it with a few pounds of crab the next night for a few dollars more) So to add insult to injury is the cute practice of 20% gratuity under the guise of fair wages to the staff. That's cool... Except do you job. Like actually do the wait service. If I'm handling my own plates, passing things to everyone at the table and having to act as an air traffic controller on a not so busy night just to get your attention, I should at least get part of the night's tip pool, no? Total bill was closing $300...and that's not a thing on vacation. But there were at least 3 other memorable experiences within a 10 mi radius that came in under and over delivered. But hey, the way I look at it, this was just the foodie tax for not recognizing a tourist trap omg US98. You got me this time. Food: 2.5/5.0 Atmosphere: 3/5.0 - Service: 2.25/5.0 - I battling food for worst of the trip X-Factor: 0/5.0 feeling like the X-men on genosha Overall: Tourist Trap.
