She promised us the fish here would be made perfectly, and she was right... my grilled grouper tacos were succulent and tangy with just the right amount of bite, and my husband really enjoyed his grouper piccata on angelhair pasta. We had just been at a restaurant where the fish was overcooked and dry so he was a little hesitant, but Harry T's knows how to showcase a fresh fish! We went to brunch at Harry's for a friend's birthday. The wait was long, but the food was worth it. The atmosphere is casual The view is amazing, we sat outside to look at the water. It was a bit breezy but they had heaters outside to try and help with that. Staff is friendly, and gave amazing recommendations. Very nice people but food was just okay. Tried the fried grouper and fried oyster basket. Should be served on a plate because the grouper fell apart when you pick it up. I had my first visit to Harry T's tonight with several of my lifelong friends. We had a wonderful server named Fred. He was very fun and personable. He was very helpful with the menu. We were there this past Sunday for brunch and bottomless mimosas. I got the Tenderloin Benedict and my bf got the Breakfast Tacos. The Gouda grits were fantastic. My tenderloin was perfect. The bf loved his tacos. We also got a fantastic cinnamon roll with icing and a muffin. They serve champagne in a glass along with 3 small cups of pineapple, cranberry and orange juices. They asked people to leave the restaurant because a member of the party wore a hat with the LSU logo visible. The restaurant was not closed for a private function although some Florida Alums frequently host watch parties. Had they closed for a private event fine ... But they kicked them out of the place while other diners from the general public were served. Then in a follow up response letter the owner disparaged Tiger fans ... If you're looking for a great bottomless mimosa brunch with a view - look no further than Harry Ts!! This was the first brunch spot we tried after moving here and we have never been disappointed! Great food, BOTTOMLESS mimosas for $13 til 2pm, and you can watch the boats coming in and out of the harbor the whole time. Did I mention it's also DOG FRIENDLY?! We are a stationed here as a military family and can definitely feel the military love. Lately, we have had Chelsea visiting our table with the champagne and never have an empty glass which is an obviously desirable quality in a brunch spot. It's people like Chelsea that keep us coming back over and over. She has that personality that makes you feel like old friends and you find yourself fighting the urge to ask her to hang out later. First of all our server Vivien was awesome! She laughed and joked with us and made sure our glasses stayed full and we had everything we needed! The view of Destin Harbor and the boats coming in and out is awesome! My husband had the gumbo and he said that it was 4.5 stars so I guess thats pretty awesome! I had the Cream of Snow crab soup and I definitely give it 5 stars it was delicious! The kids had the popcorn shrimp and it came on a frisbee which was cool and overflowing with shrimp and french fries! I had the scallops which were also very well seasoned and absolutely delicious! It was also the best sweet tea that we have had all vacation long. The only down spot in our dinner was that my husband ordered the combo platter and he was kind of shocked that it had less food on it than the kid's popcorn shrimp dinner, but all in all it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be back! read more
