10/10 definitely recommend! This was one of the greatest excursions on the harbor. Daniel and Thomas were great host, played great music, and was very helpful at all times. On our way to crab island they even stopped to let us see some dolphins. I enjoyed the 4 hr excursion to crab island. Our boat had all types of fun things to play with in the water at crab island, I had a floaty the whole 4 hrs. I truly enjoyed this excursion, and honestly we wanted to stay extra time but only had 4 hrs. I'm glad we chose the early morning time to go and enjoy before it really got crowded, even though it was a nice size crown anyway. We had a great time. We boarded the SunVenture II yesterday and from start to finish enjoyed everything. My kids weren't having it at the beginning and the crew made sure they felt safe and were going to have fun.Once we got to Crab Island, we were informed all of there is to do and told if we needed anything just to ask.We we're helped all day by the crew which was really a relief with three little ones. They didn't have our names and I show them email confirmation and receipt, they still didn't care and kicked out from the boat. Did the Fireworks/sunset cruise offered on Thursday nights. Cruise lasted about 2 hours. Boat was spacious and clean. Caption explained history of Destin area. Crab Island etc. This location was easy to find and find parking. I do recommend sitting in front of boat for fireworks or back for sunset view. It was hard to see both sitting on side of boat. But still had an amazing time. Well worth money. Kids enjoyed it. I'd eat and go to the bathroom ahead of time. Snacks were offered for 2.00. Saw a dolphin. But it was dark and not super easy to spot. Amazing view of restaurants and hotels, lit up at night. read more

This excursion to Crab Island was seriously the best! Captain Morgan and Andy made our experience one we won't forget! We had a large group of a baseball team and families, and all 42 of us were able to get spots on one catamaran together. They literally did all of the work for us. They got us drinks out of our coolers, called vendors over for us to purchase food items, and made it where we never had to leave the water once we got in. The big floating lily pad was a hit, as well as several floaties they had for us to use. They played a great selection of music for us the whole time as well! We were fortunate to go out at high tide, and the water was beautiful! I have already told another baseball team about our experience and they are booking with them next week! Well I have to start by saying they have nothing on the seablaster! We took the sea blaster out yesterday, free drinks, music, and encouraging of dancing! And dolphins. But back to this trip, a little disappointing. You could bring your own drinks but no one told us about that little fact. We were supposed to look for Dolphins but didn't see any. Then we just drifted out in the bay for about 30 minutes I had to ask for a beverage and chips which were not complementary might I add. Not that I don't like reggae music I do but too much will make one fall asleep while drifting out to sea. These people had no plan, nothing in the works no plan of action. This was the highlight of our Destin trip! We had such a great time at Crab Island. We went in the morning because we had 4 1/2 year old twins. It was fun atmosphere appropriate for kids. My only complaint is that the excursion wasn't longer. read more

Cynthia (who takes reservations and check-in) is so nice and helpful and answers any questions you have. She is very helpful and does whatever she can to make your time with them the best! Larry and Mark are so fun and very attentive to whatever you need while out on the boat and also gives you history on crab island. They are both very helpful especially with helping you on and off the boat or blowing up your floats for you or grabbing something you need so you don't have to get out of the water (like my hat and sunscreen). We joined Captain Larry and Joe out for the 10am Crab Island cruise. The guys were so much fun and Crab Island was a blast. We enjoyed the trip so much that we decided to book the 2pm cruise and the dolphin sunset cruise for the same day. We saw a ton of dolphins on the evening cruise and one came right up next to the boat. I would highly recommend Sunventure I for any of their cruises. Larry and Joe made our day on the water. Skip this place and take Destin's Original Seablaster.....here's why, Initially my family booked to leave out of Okaloosa Thursday at 9:30 am on a 3 hour cruise. We were then told the boat had mechanical issues and they needed to move us to another day and time. We were placed on a cruise out of Destin but they were only able to accommodate the 25 of us on the 4 hour afternoon cruise. Cynthia stated the additional fee for that particular cruise would be waived since it was the only boat that would fit all 25 of us and because the mechanical issues were not our fault. Upon review of my credit card statement I realized I was charged without notice an additional hour for each family member. In an effort to discuss with SunVenture Cruises I contacted Cynthia directly. She then asked me to email the information over and she will fix the issue. As of today I have contacted the company 3 times since 16July2019. I have yet to receive an email or a call back. If you are looking at taking a cruise I highly suggest steering away from SunVenture Cruises. They are only in it for the money and the cruise is literally a boat ride to Crab Island, nothing special. Destin's Original Sea blaster provides excitement, great music, fun and drinks for half the price! read more

We decided this was the best way to see Crab Island so we made reservations for our group of 11 over the phone. We got all the information of what to bring, the do's and dont's, etc. On the day of our trip we arrived early, and were one of the first groups there. We took our stuff down to the boat, the deckhands started loading our stuff while I went back to the kiosk to check in. I thought this is going to be great. I gave the person working the kiosk my name. She couldn't find my name on the reservation list. She checked again. Nothing. I told her who I spoke with when I made the reservation-still nothing. Finally after several minutes another person came to the kiosk and I spoke with her. She informed since my credit card information was not taken down when I called so they did not reserve our spots on the boat. I stated if my credit card information was needed to hold the reservation, why didn't they ask me for it when I made the reservation, or call me back because they had my phone number. She had no response other than offer to put me on another trip a day or two later, but this did not fit in our schedule. We headed back to the boat retrieved our gear from the deckhands and left disappointed. I will say the deckhands were very polite, respectful and hardworking. read more
