We booked our Crab Island cruise with this company on Get Your Guide. We arrived at the meeting time of 11:30 am for a 12 pm boat tour. We waited at the assigned kiosk for 15 minutes before we started calling the company to determine why no one was at the kiosk. We also messaged them from the app. The phone number was unanswered and hung up. No one responded to the message. One of the locals told us that there were people already boarding the boat at the end of the dock. We ran down there for the boat captain to tell us that he only had a private tour booked at 12. We showed him our booking on Get Your Guide and he said we would need to contact the company. At that moment the company called the person who booked the trip to tell them that the trip had been cancelled two days before the trip and they sent out a text message about it. Turns out the Booker of our group had put in the wrong phone number so we never got the message. And at the same time, the trip was never cancelled on Get Your Guide, as well as they had never refunded the money even after cancelling it. Essentially, they took our money, got a larger private booking so they cancelled ours and never tried to actually reach us to let us know via all avenues (not just text, the trip was still active on GYG). I think the worst part is that they cancelled it two days before the trip and put a private trip in our place. In summary this company is unreliable, sneaky and poor communication. read more

What an amazing dolphin tour. Captain Morgan (real name) and Andy took care of us and made sure we got an excellent view of the dolphins and sunset. Most excellent playlist to boot. Highly recommend! read more

Sunventure Cruises - Everybody out with Captain Morgan and Andy! - Boat Tours Near Me - Miramar Beach, Florida

We had an amazing sunset dolphin cruise this week with family. The dolphins were shy but it didn't matter. The rooftop deck made for a great cruise with awesome views. We had family from ages 7 to 73 with us and everyone enjoyed it... and we did finally see some dolphins toward the end! Captain Morgan is a great host and created a great vibe for the night all while keeping us safe and finding the best views. Thanks for a great night! read more

Service slow, charged me $50.00 for a window seat (I paid for in advance) now I have to argue the bill because of it.... Dinner so so , drinks good . Music is black in nature. Overall out of 10 a 3. read more

Captain Morgan was great! His helpers were friendly and awesome! Defintenly will come again

Spencer and Daniel were the BEST captains anyone could ask for! We will definitely book in the future cause of the amazing experience they provided. Our first time in Destin and at Crab Island was that much better thanks to them! read more

We had an amazing time at Crab Island and it was all thanks to SunVenture Cruises and our amazing Captain, Justin & his right hand man Thomas. They spent time giving us stuff off the boat like floats & snacks & even took pictures for us. We could not have asked for a better experience! If your looking to go to Crab Island please consider SunVenture Cruises! You will not be disappointed! read more

We did the dolphin cruise in Destin and it was so fun! Thomas and Justin were amazing guides. They even stop at sunset (we did the 6:30p tour) and take photos of every family on the boat. Very thoughtful. Played great music and were super friendly! read more

This place is a sham. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. We booked a cruise for 2 adults and 2 children and have a confirmation email stating the same and they cancelled at the last minute saying their system shows reservation for only one child. They refused to refund and would only honor for another day that we had something else already planned. Highly unethical and unprofessional business. read more

Justin and Thomas were awesome!!!! Best party in Destin!! They were so helpful and fun! They brought the shy ones out of their shells and super hosts! read more

We had a great time at Crab Island thanks to Sunventure! Crab Island is a must-see for all ages. We had a range from 60 years old to 15 months old and everyone had a blast! The Sunventure crew will grab your beer, sunscreen, anything for you from the boat while you enjoy the whole water! Crew was funny, helpful, and informative. We will definitely use this company again next time we are in Destin. No complaints!!!! read more

This boat was great to take to crab island, the captain was funny and welcoming! The only thing I wish I saw more here is COVID-19 measures really being put into place. The boat was almost full and everyone had no choice but to sit right next to each-other and basically nobody had masks on. Something to think about if that's a deal breaker read more

My family and I took the three hour Crab Island excursion cruise. Everything was fine, I just wish I'd been warned ahead of time that the cruise wasn't very kid-friendly. A lot of people don't mind the foul language and sexual jokes and drunken adults stumbling all over one another and the ride to and from the island, but for those of us who do, a heads up would have been nice. read more

Hal and Heather were awesome but what you get for the money is way overrated. Basically they drive you out to a shallow sand bar with overpriced food, bars and water toys. Sure you can take your own coolers but unless you just want to float and get drunk it is pretty boring. Big props to Heather for being so sweet to my daughter who was not feeling it. If you have kids, be prepared to spend big bucks to keep them entertained. read more

Skip this place and take Destin's Original Seablaster.....here's why, Initially my family booked to leave out of Okaloosa Thursday at 9:30 am on a 3 hour cruise. We were then told the boat had mechanical issues and they needed to move us to another day and time. We were placed on a cruise out of Destin but they were only able to accommodate the 25 of us on the 4 hour afternoon cruise. Cynthia stated the additional fee for that particular cruise would be waived since it was the only boat that would fit all 25 of us and because the mechanical issues were not our fault. Upon review of my credit card statement I realized I was charged without notice an additional hour for each family member. In an effort to discuss with SunVenture Cruises I contacted Cynthia directly. She then asked me to email the information over and she will fix the issue. As of today I have contacted the company 3 times since 16July2019. I have yet to receive an email or a call back. If you are looking at taking a cruise I highly suggest steering away from SunVenture Cruises. They are only in it for the money and the cruise is literally a boat ride to Crab Island, nothing special. Destin's Original Sea blaster provides excitement, great music, fun and drinks for half the price! read more
