Screaming Eagle Speedboat - Beautiful dolphin sighting! - Boat Charters Near Me - Destin, Florida

Ok folks. If you want a true local whoo knows the waters of Destin and will give you a trip to remember than go and see Brad and Angela at Screaming Eagle Motorsports. I have been on a lot of dolphin tours but this is the best one I have been on. They offer dolphin tours , sunset tours , private tours, snorkeling and much more. So don't let this gem of a group not be part of yoUr vacation. Go see them today. read more

Reserved a dolphin sight seeing trip. Called the day of to confirm they were still operating due to weather. No one answered or returned our call. We showed up for the tour and no one was there. After asking around the docks finally got someone to come talk to us. They cancelled the tour but didn't call us so we're out an hour to get here and paid for parking. They originally said they couldn't refund our money, but finally agreed to. Still waiting for it to show up in my statement... read more

This couple was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the area, safety was very important. The waters were calm to start but during our ride the waves picked up making alittle more dangerous. We were taken in the bay and continued our venture. My grandkids were informed that he used the shell phone and phoned ahead an ask the dolphins where they would be? And sure enough the dolphins were there waiting. Highly recommend this speed boat. A wonderful excursion. read more

Excellent service, warm and personable captain and crew. Saw a large turtle, numerous dolphins and a shark. It's a smaller boat so wasn't crowded at all. Went on the dolphin excursion today with temperatures at 95 degrees F and never got hot because his boat has a cover keeping you out of the direct sun. It's also faster than the other dolphin excursion boats we saw today. Would recommend this for families with children. read more

I would give this 10 stars if I could. It was an amazing experience for our family. You get a personal experience on this boat with a knowledgeable captain and staff. We saw several dolphins and even captured one jumping the wake of another boat. The captain allowed our son to "drive" the boat and made it such a memorable experience. The sunset was super impressive too! We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience! read more

Had a great time on our dolphin outing. The friendly crew were very familiar with the gulf and guided us to a number of great spots. I'm not sure if our cruise was the typical experience, but I'd guess that we easily saw 30-40 dolphins (which was way more than I expected to see. This cruise was one of the highlights of our Destin trip! read more

This was a great dolphin tour! Brad was awesome! He knows a lot about Destin and has a great personality. We saw a ton of dolphins and the boat ride was super fun. Definitely recommend! read more

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. We took our two teenage girls with and they loved seeing the dolphins. The Captain Barry, was very knowledgeable of the area and the waters. He masterfully navigated the break water leaving the marina area to the open ocean. The water was rough due to the tropical storm that came through two days before. Captain Barry's sense of humor made the trip even more enjoyable, especially when he was joking with/about first mate Lisa. The tour itself was fun! We saw lots of Dolphins during the tour. What makes this tour unique is that it's not a huge "party boat" size boat. The boat is a 33 foot boat and held the ten on our tour comfortably. The boat holds many more people. We stumbled upon this tour as we did not want the huge boat full of screaming kids. We definitely got that and an awesome experience! read more

Trip with Brad the captain to see the dolphins and sharks was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the area, Angela at the office gave dinner recommendations, enjoyed some snowcones, etc. The entire group loved it and we would give more stars if we could. read more

This boat tour was super fun I saw dolphins. We hit some waves but not too big. I wish I wish there was a little bit more thrilled with going over the waves. The captain and copilot were super Duper super cool. read more

ONLY GO HERE IF IT IS ABSOULTLEY PERFECT WEATHER. thete were some clouds in the sky when I went and we came back after only 10 minutes of actually going fast on the speed boat. I paid over 95 dollars for a full hour and I called to dispute this and was told that "we had some fun and jumped some waves so we won't be doing refunds" by an employee named Trevor. just to top it off the rain we had to be cut 30 minutes short for never came :). 15 minutes of the trip is taken up by no wake zones. The ride was fun until we stopped after 10 minutes of riding full speed. HUGE HUGE HUGE RIPOFF. read more

Awesome!! Captain informative and fun!! We would definitely take this boat again! Comfortable seats. Totally worth the little extra money it was not to be on one of the crowded boats!!!! read more

Cancelled 20 minutes before our ride. Didn't want to refund because we couldn't re schedule and he said we didn't cancel the required 24 hours before. What ! He cancelled us! Rude and unaccommodating when we insisted on refund read more

They have been GREAT in the past but his ride...not so much. It is supposed to be a fast boat but we only went fast for about 5-10 minutes. The rest of the time was spent piddling around looking at one or two dolphins. They even said that "due to the tide, the dolpins are hard to find". So.....why not go fast and enjoy the breeze and excitement? Also, the captain's we have had in the past shared interesting stories about Destin and some of it's residents. This time....very little dialogue. read more

Captain Joe and 1st Mate Sean made this an unforgettable and exciting experience. I've been coming to DESTIN for over 30 years - - and our Sunset Dolphin Cruise on The Screaming Eagle was easily one of the best things we have ever done. From locating dolphins, giving great info with a fabulous and fun attitude, and genially caring about the passengers and fellow boaters - we couldn't have asked for anything more! Dolphins frolicking in the waves from the wake of the boat. Beautiful views of the gulf and sunset. My mobility is somewhat impaired- and these guys cheerfully assisted me on and off the boat without making me feel like a nuisance or making a spectacle of me. Don't miss this! We will see be back! read more

Nice people! We chatted with the captains while visiting the Harbor Walk. Later in the week we decided to take a dolphin tour, so we called Screaming Eagle. Smaller boat-about 12 max capacity, and a nIce size for the tour. The captains are quite knowledgable about the area and provide a running commentary during the trip. Our tour was at least 1.5 hours We did see dolphin, too! read more

We just got off the boat and I'm telling y'all GO HERE. THEY ARE AWESOME! Brad (the captain) gives you all kinds of opportunities to see the coolest stuff all while making you feel very safe (important when you're in the ocean on a boat). There are 12 seats on the boat so it's personal and more interactive than when you get on one of those big people movers. We were so impressed! Keep up the good work y'all! read more

Barry & Lisa are the absolute best. They provided 5 star service and were awesome the entire time we were on their boat. We fit 14 people easily and they loaded and unloaded the boat for us. The boat itself was badass. If you love America, the ocean & going fast... This is your type of boat. I would use them 100 out of 100 times. read more
