this was sooo much fun! we got there early as instructed, (read your voucher) and got some snacks and drinks from the Sno Shack next to the check in booth. it's sooo cute and def great for pics. I got a watermelon sno cone with watermelon vodka- worth the price and delish! the sunset cruise on the thriller boat was a blast. we brought our kids and they got to see dolphins, get wet, go fast and see the sunset all in one trip! Reserved a dolphin sight seeing trip. Called the day of to confirm they were still operating due to weather. No one answered or returned our call. We showed up for the tour and no one was there. After asking around the docks finally got someone to come talk to us. They cancelled the tour but didn't call us so we're out an hour to get here and paid for parking. This couple was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the area, safety was very important. The waters were calm to start but during our ride the waves picked up making alittle more dangerous. We were taken in the bay and continued our venture. My grandkids were informed that he used the shell phone and phoned ahead an ask the dolphins where they would be? I would give this 10 stars if I could. It was an amazing experience for our family. You get a personal experience on this boat with a knowledgeable captain and staff. We saw several dolphins and even captured one jumping the wake of another boat. The captain allowed our son to "drive" the boat and made it such a memorable experience. Excellent service, warm and personable captain and crew. Saw a large turtle, numerous dolphins and a shark. It's a smaller boat so wasn't crowded at all. Went on the dolphin excursion today with temperatures at 95 degrees F and never got hot because his boat has a cover keeping you out of the direct sun. Had a great time on our dolphin outing. The friendly crew were very familiar with the gulf and guided us to a number of great spots. I'm not sure if our cruise was the typical experience, but I'd guess that we easily saw 30-40 dolphins (which was way more than I expected to see. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. We took our two teenage girls with and they loved seeing the dolphins. The Captain Barry, was very knowledgeable of the area and the waters. He masterfully navigated the break water leaving the marina area to the open ocean. The water was rough due to the tropical storm that came through two days before. Captain Barry's sense of humor made the trip even more enjoyable, especially when he was joking with/about first mate Lisa. The tour itself was fun! We saw lots of Dolphins during the tour. What makes this tour unique is that it's not a huge "party boat" size boat. The boat is a 33 foot boat and held the ten on our tour comfortably. The boat holds many more people. We stumbled upon this tour as we did not want the huge boat full of screaming kids. We definitely got that and an awesome experience! read more

ONLY GO HERE IF IT IS ABSOULTLEY PERFECT WEATHER. thete were some clouds in the sky when I went and we came back after only 10 minutes of actually going fast on the speed boat. I paid over 95 dollars for a full hour and I called to dispute this and was told that "we had some fun and jumped some waves so we won't be doing refunds" by an employee named Trevor. just to top it off the rain we had to be cut 30 minutes short for never came :). 15 minutes of the trip is taken up by no wake zones. The ride was fun until we stopped after 10 minutes of riding full speed. HUGE HUGE HUGE RIPOFF. read more

They have been GREAT in the past but his ride...not so much. It is supposed to be a fast boat but we only went fast for about 5-10 minutes. The rest of the time was spent piddling around looking at one or two dolphins. They even said that "due to the tide, the dolpins are hard to find". So.....why not go fast and enjoy the breeze and excitement? Also, the captain's we have had in the past shared interesting stories about Destin and some of it's residents. Nice people! We chatted with the captains while visiting the Harbor Walk. Later in the week we decided to take a dolphin tour, so we called Screaming Eagle. Smaller boat-about 12 max capacity, and a nIce size for the tour. The captains are quite knowledgable about the area and provide a running commentary during the trip. Our tour was at least 1.5 hours We did see dolphin, too! read more

We just got off the boat and I'm telling y'all GO HERE. THEY ARE AWESOME! Brad (the captain) gives you all kinds of opportunities to see the coolest stuff all while making you feel very safe (important when you're in the ocean on a boat).
