My…read moreboyfriends truck overheats sometimes due to cooling issues in the motor and we had just gotten taco bell (right next to this place) and it started messing up so we had to pull into the parking lot and open the hood. We only sat there for a few minutes but in those few minutes a man that worked there came out and asked if he could help in any way and offered his assistance very kindly. We thought he was going to tell us to leave his parking lot but he didn't. A couple minutes later another man came out and offered to help or buy us coolant to help. With all that being said, it was a stressful situation and they made us feel safe and not hopeless. If you need a storage service, use these people.

We returned today to move our stuff over to his apartment only to find lock cut off, the unit ransacked, and about $700 worth of stuff missing. Maintenance man reported other units had been broken into and there were no security cameras installed on the units. I left a voicemail with the front office and still have not heard back from them. We have also filed a police report with the LPD. I'm not impressed with this place or customer experience. I will follow up on this post later....

They are saying I agreed to this. I was not, I specifically asked and was told $40per month. This is a 5x10' outdoor storage unit! They literally call it the Coat Closet. On the form, besides it being a separate page than the one my signature is on, all other amounts are circled except the $138 price. I'm elderly and had to pay $100 to a mover to move my stuff in and cannot move it without hiring another mover.

I felt safe while there and I felt that my items were safe while I stored them there. You can set up an auto-payment online, which was very convenient for me. The owners are both very kind and kept in contact to make sure my unit was still being used, so my auto -payments wouldn't continue without my knowledge. Anytime I called with questions, they were quick to answer the phone or get back to me if I left a message. My roommate and I moved all of my stuff out of my unit at 9:30pm one night, and by 9am the next morning they had called to thank me for my time using them for my storage needs. This place was great and the owners alone are reason to come back. I will definitely recommend them to any friends and be returning if ever needed.

However, this past month, my monthly bill increased by about $20 (in addition to the recent $15 increase). I then called the office and spoke with a member of management to try to better understand this increase. During this conversation, I was told my auto-payment rejected (false), told my price had not been increased in a while (false), and many other excuses. We finally landed on a "utility" fee (???). My monthly price has increased from around $80/mo to $143/mo. Even more so, when searching online, anyone can see that for new customers, the fee is $31/mo then $108/mo (I have a 5X10). I brought this up during a face-to-face conversation with a member of management, to which he agreed it was not right to charge current customers more than new but it was beyond his control. Really, I just wish A Plus storage would treat their current customers better. I spoke with a member of management at Affordable Storage & was so grateful to be cutting this bill in half and am currently set to move out at the end of February.

I went in to sign paper work on July 25th because I had spoke to someone and set a date for the 24th but couldn't make it in until the next day. They typed, NEXT TO MY WRITTEN SIGNATURE, that I had signed the document on the 21st. So of course come move out they charged me $314 for not moving out by the 21st when the set date wasn't until the 24th and I didn't even receive the information and sign documents until the 25th. When speaking to an employee about the matter the man on the phone was hostile, rude, and simply ignorant. I had to dispute the charges through my bank because he could not wrap his head around the issue. I eventually received a refund but they made the experience so horrible. I will not be using them again.
