Cookies and cream with mint

The ice cream was mediocre. It wasn't creamy enough nor was it tasty. It was just good enough on a hot Palm Springs day. The people working there were very nice and gave us samples. For the price we paid we could've gotten 6 buckets of ice cream from Ralph's. I guess when you don't have a choice it'll get the job the done but other than that it's not worth it.

Popped in here for a sweet treat while in the area. There's a large variety of flavors and ice cream types. Frozen yogurt, ice cream, gelato, and dairy free soft serve. Although, they didn't have cookie dough which is a staple flavor in my opinion. They let you sample two flavors. I ended up getting the "munchie madness". One of the most unique ice cream flavors I have ever tried. I asked the woman working there what was in it and she just said "everything". Which is pretty accurate. There was m and Ms Reece's, birthday cake, brownie pieces, caramel maybe?, and not sure what else. I got the regular which is the smallest size and it came out to be 7$. So definitly pricey. Not my favorite ice cream I have tried in Palm Springs but definitely a good option!

The staff was really nice and sweet. They had a good selection. The store is right on the main street.

Hair in gelato. We went to complain. Staff did not apologize or give any reimbursement.

Really good and yummy creamy yogurt. Just wish I could get a test of a flavor before buying before I take a risk.

Honestly, it almost makes you forget that at first, the staff seemed a little hesitant to greet us. It was like they were waiting for us to prove we were serious about dessert before welcoming us properly. But once we started ordering, all that vanished, and it was pure ice cream bliss. The vibes at Lappert's are great. The place has a fun, cheerful energy that makes it feel like a mini escape right in downtown Palm Springs. Whether it's the tropical décor, the colorful selection of flavors, or just the sheer joy of eating ice cream in public without judgment, it's an experience. I'm not sure if this is a new generation kind of thing, but the ice cream alone completely made up for the initial awkwardness. I would absolutely recommend Lappert's to anyone visiting Palm Springs. I'm definitely going back, and I'm not entirely sure what I'll try next, but that is part of the fun. Every visit feels a little like a surprise adventure, and somehow the combination of high-quality ice cream and quirky vibes keeps you coming back for more. If you're in town and craving a sweet treat, this is the place to go.

There are no seating inside with a limited number of bistro tables in front. But there are benches along the street so we used one of those. Everyone working there was so patient with every customer. We were offered samples before deciding what to order. All the flavors look so tasty. Their single scoop was huge! So even though it sounds expensive at first, the large servings made it reasonable. It's large enough to share.

This deli opens at 8am. We were actually 2nd. in line for the doors to open. My friend and I lived many many years in NYC...deli rules. When it opened we were greeted and seated, we chose to sit inside though they did have a fairly big patio area. Service was excellent all around from the hostess who sat us to Christina who took good care of us making sure water and coffees were refill promptly and was very friendly. My friend ordered his favorite, a hot Pastrami sandwich on lightly toasted rye. I ordered my most favorite deli item, the Chopped Liver appetizer. While we were waiting for our food, we were served the tradition Pickle Tray, YEAH!!!! The food came out and was all DELISH! My friend loved his pastrami sandwich and my chopped liver was good but could of used some chopped hard boiled egg, more onion and some salt.. but was still good. To note: We would definitely come again on an off hour where I would not have to wait. Atmosphere: Fairly large inside and patio, very Deli feel, huge bakery display to purchase. Service: excellent. Food: very good.

It was a weird mixture of chicken, tuna, cottage cheese, fruits, lettuce. The flavoring was odd and not complimentary to each other. - #6 Hot Pastrami with Chopped Liver Sandwich: If you have never tried chopped liver before, I don't think this should be your first time experimenting. There are many other good options to pick from! If you end up disliking the chopped liver, I'd hate for that to ruin your experience at Sherman's. The second time I ordered: - NY Style Hot Pastrami Sandwich: This was the best thing I tried on the menu. The pastrami was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this sandwich! - Lite Lunch Special: Not all sandwiches are available for the half portion, so I would suggest clarifying with your waiter. I ordered 1/2 Brisket of Beef (BBQ sauce on the side) and 1/2 Garden Salad. Both were just fine. Unfortunately I was way too full to try any of the dessert. They were beautifully displayed though!

The place immediately caught our eye. The front window shows a giant teddy bear and the inside is bright, modern, and so well organized that we just had to walk in. Right when you enter there is an entire wall of cotton candy which is my personal favorite. Beyond that there are rows of pastries and macarons, imported sodas and specialty drinks, plus big sections of taffy, jellies, and candies from all over the world. It honestly felt like a candy wonderland. We filled a bag with a mix of everything to celebrate our anniversary weekend and enjoyed it over the next couple of days. Every piece we tried was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the store was spotless and beautifully designed. Whoever put the space together clearly cared about every detail because it draws you in the moment you see it. The flavor selection is rather small, but that means they get to focus more on the quality of their product. You can literally taste the difference just by sampling. Though I wanted everything (lmao), I ended up buying a single scoop each of rosemary and first date. Date is a classic & yummy flavor if you're in Palm Springs, duh... Rosemary, however, was interesting. I was worried it'd be too "grassy" or pungent because rosemary is a stronger tasting herb, but to my surprise, super well balanced with its vanilla bean base. Seriously, it was delicious. I'd like to come back for their rose pistachio and lemon meringue pie, if they still have those available. Highly recommend this spot especially if you've been hiking or out in the sun all day, it genuinely hit the spot. 100/10!!!!

The colorful cute design outside and inside the shop beckoned me to take a peek inside after a hearty crepe lunch right next door. To my delight, I discovered they had both vegan and traditional ice cream. I was able to sample a couple of flavors, and the barista who also serves as the ice cream scooper patiently waited for me to evaluate my favorite flavor. Between vegan birthday cake (very sprinkle tasting) and vegan ube, I chose ube. The ube ice cream was texturally fascinating and really tasty. With swirls of sweet potato and little bits of vegan marshmallow that gave a halo-halo feel because of the underlying coconut flavor, this ube ice cream was delicious. I kept going back for more. With great vibes, good service, and vegan ice cream options, I would come back again.
