Disappointed. They never consistently make the same thing. You never know what type of meat it'll be. Will it be chopped? Or will it be shredded? This goes for any item. I've ordered the tacos, wet burrito many times, enchiladas etc. it changes the quality of the item and the experience. We prefer it to be shredded btw. Love the other location way more for this reason. They don't switch up their process of making things. We live closer to this one so it's sad to do this. Recently discovered this place last month after living in the neighborhood for years and have been back 3 times since. The staff is always friendly and fairly attentive. Food is fantastic and it's nice to have some legit comfort food and not another bougie fusion option. The wet burrito is my go to and they get it right every time. When it comes to drinks they make some of the best margaritas and micheladas in the area. The one downside is the parking lot is small so it can be tough to find a spot during peak hours and street parking is only one hour. read more

I found another hidden little gem. So close to home yet I never been here till last night when I decided to try something new. When entering the restaurant they have a small little bar to the right and about 6 or 7 tables Incase you want to dine in. Unfortunately I didn't have time to dine in so I ordered to go. I was greeted first thing when walking in and was seated I told him I was going to eat out and he said it was fine to take a seat and let him know when I was ready. So I sat and took a look at the menu and decided on two things the camarones al mojo de ajo, and the burrito mojado with mole coloradito. To drink I ordered an agua de Jamaica and agua de maracuya (passion fruit). Both drinks were incredible! So I took the food home so I might have had a bumpy ride and it showed with the camarones al mojo de ajo but despite how ugly it looked the shrimp was delicious perfectly seasoned and garlicky just how I like it the rice and beans hit the spot and as for my burrito I asked for it with no lettuce because lettuce does not belong on a burrito but everything about that burrito was incredible the mole was sweet just how I like it and it just felt like a complete dish mixture of both sweet and savory! I stopped by, last minute, on a Friday night. My family wanted Mexican food so we decided to try the place out. We ordered the taco plates (one chicken and one beef). We also ordered the mole negro. We've tried a couple of Mexican places in the area and this will now be one of our go-tos. The food tasted great. It was not greasy at all. They gave chips, which were delicious as well. Not stale at all. The plates were reasonably priced. The service was great as well, being that I walked in and ordered take out. The staff was really nice. For a family reunion definitely not recommended especially if you are taking kids, some verbal abuse is going on in this place. There are some other good Mexican places with better service.
