Stopped in here for some take away donuts for Sunday morning! I went in expecting to grab four but the donuts looked so yummy I came home with 6! The donuts were tasty! We thought the blueberry pancake one had the most flavor out of the six we got (glazed, maple glazed, chocolate, peanut butter cup and butterfinger). The size of the donut was what I was expecting and were manageable... not overly sized! I was disappointed with their glazed, I was hoping for a more airy donut, their glaze is a bit dense for my liking. The shop itself was very simple which I enjoyed as their main focus is on the donuts an customers! You can view the donuts that are available when you get into the shop and they also make breakfast sandwiches... alot of people ordered the hungry man or something like that! My mom and I went there for the first time to get some donuts for our family, and we were probably there JUST in time - when we got up there, there were only 3 varieties of donuts available and going very quickly. They only had about 3 varieties of bagels as well. Even then, the options we had were AMAZING! Totally drool-worthy. Plus, their iced chai tea was awesome. I finally made it to Jupiter Donut Factory- aka Jupiter Donuts- at it's original location . . . in Jupiter. It's located on Center Street in one of the oldest parts of Jupiter; so glad that a business is making it in this part of town. 30 years ago a different local donut shop existed on this same street- Danny's Donuts (I believe?!)- where I would visit as a little girl. Thus, nostalgia, in addition to good reviews, drew me here. The shop is cute, decorated in a 50's diner style, matching the logo. The coffee is the local Oceana Coffee with a specially-made brew just for the shop. Apparently their items are all handmade the day before, including bagels. This is a very viable alternative to Donut chain stores, except that they close when the donuts are sold out (or 12:30pm). In truth, I made a special trip to get here before that happened, as the last time I came by they were already sold out. I want to support my local businesses, thus the 5 stars. However, I have to admit I was disappointed with the donuts I tried. The Boston Creme did take awhile to reach the cream part, but the truth is: I couldn't tell the difference between this donut and the same kind from Dunkin Donuts. This probably just reflects poorly on me; is my palate so unrefined?! The old-fashioned glazed is delicious, but overly sweet for me. That is saying A LOT coming from me! The chocolate iced chocolate was also too sweet for me, and the texture was unappealing: too soft. I couldn't even finish it. This is very surprising since . . . I have a major sweet tooth! I would definitely bring an out-of-town guest here if they had a donut craving, or if I wanted to buy a box of donuts with wacky flavors as a gift. If I do visit again, I'll try the breakfast sandwiches and maybe a different type of donut. In all truth, it's a gift that I won't be craving these donuts. Instead, I can focus next on trying the local cupcake shop on the next block . . . Note to the owners: No recycling?! Disappointing. read more

These are some of the best donuts that I've ever had, but you have to make sure you come in early or else they will all be gone! I have been here several times whenever my sweet tooth kicks in and have ordered a ton of different donuts. Each and every one is delicious, fresh and homemade, so you're really getting the royal treatment whenever you eat one of these donuts. In honor of Homer Simpson, my favorite donut is the strawberry sprinkled donut, which is huge, fluffy and topped with just the right amount of frosting and sprinkles. This place has other varieties of donuts like Snickers and Samoa, which are both excellent as well. The cake donuts are fantastic, and, well, I could go on and on. Arrived twice (2 sep trips) at 9:30 to find nothing left. Used to be our place of choice with grandkids to take donuts to the beach. The grandkids today said let's not come back. Dunkin' Donuts is just as good. In fact, as we stood in the lobby of Dunkin' Donuts, the 9 year of said Jupiter, donuts is losing a lot of business. Look at everyone here. Family decision was to bypass Jupiter donuts in the future. While a good donut they're not worth the disappointment on a regular basis. This is not what I like in a donut, at all. Keep that in mind as you might like heavy donuts. Like, really heavy donuts that should really be called sweet bread. It's a highly dense dough with a bad aftertaste. I can't even finish the glazed I bought. Maybe I'll come back to try a cake donut, but I'm not hopeful. In all fairness, maybe this is just how people like donuts around here. I prefer more of a California style-light and fluffy with great flavor and no grease left in my mouth, like a beautiful little pillow. This is not that. We went just after they opened for the morning and the ladies had the shelves stocked but kept bringing out more. A woman in front of us needed 2 dozen so we had a chance to get our bearings - ordering donuts is overwhelming and we didn't want to blow it. Lots of selection. Friendly, helpful service. We liked the yeast style raised donuts the best (chocolate covered and strawberry covered), the jelly donuts were also yummy. The cake donuts were heavy and not our favorites but you they are certainly on trend. Glad that such a fun place exists near my mom's house! Like this place but only giving a 4 star because they often do not have apple fritters. This morning I called in to "reserve" one and they were out already. At 8:15. This happens a lot. We made a special trip to this place yesterday due to the reviews being positive. The two women in the shop were short with us (11:30am) and acted irritated that we'd even come in. They closed at noon and it was obvious these two were done working for the day already. They basically locked the entrance behind us as we left (10mins earlier than stated). The doughnuts were averGe at best. They have interesting and unique flavors, but the base doughnuts is the same despite the toppings on top and they all taste bland. The honey dipped, which is used in most of them, isn't even better than what you'd get at Dunkins. In short, don't bother going out of your way for these doughnuts. If you have no other options, they'll suffice, but don't expect to be impressed. They put more investment into their box logo design than the actual product they sell. I think the high rating is due to the lack of small doughnut shops in the area. read more

Yum! Fresh donuts that won't make you go anywhere else after you have tried these. There is a reason they close when they sell out. This local place is amazing for donuts. I haven't tried anything else (ex. Coffee) other than the donuts. Don't go in expecting a fancy looking place. The shop is in an older shopping area and the place looks well used because it is popular with the locals. So I may update this review, but for now this is it. The staff was ok not welcoming, but not rude. It was 11am and they still had about 3 types of donuts. I had some other flavors a few days before so I have tasted about 7 of their flavors. Pros- The glazed donut it great, it was fresh even at 11am, the glaze had the perfect sweetness, and the donut was the perfect texture. The red velvet is a cake donut (which I normally don't like) and it was amazing. I don't even really like red velvet, but the donut was so moist and so flavorful. The donut base for the cake donuts is really good and very moist. Same goes with the yeast donuts the dough is just delicious and well done on each flavor. Cons- the staff seemed underwhelmed maybe a bad day or maybe normal service. I got 2 Boston Cremes because they are my favorite donut. The first one it took 5 bites to get any cream at all and it was in this tiny pocket. Maybe a little bit larger than a quarter sized space of creme. The creme it's self was spot on, but there was not enough at all. Why make this large donut if you aren't going to fill it? So I thought maybe I got a fluke? This morning I go to eat the other Boston donut, and same problem. I am 5 bites in no creme which is again why make this large donut if you don't fill it?? read more

We just moved to the Jupiter area and heard about this great donut place. I also heard how they normally sell out of donuts in the morning. We arrived at 10:30 on a Saturday and there were still a good selection left. I tried six different kids. Cookies and cream, peanut butter cup, red velvet, Samoa, s'mores and your basic sprinkle.
