Basic food handling hygiene appears to be a real issue here. I went many months ago and an employee was handling raw bacon with gloves on and then went to make my sandwich....i asked to put fresh gloves on. Then last week, I watched the manager wearing black gloves go to the back to grab something and then touch the register touch screen and common countertop areas that customers touch and then started to make a sandwich with the same gloves on. I went to Flip Flop subs yesterday because of my experience the previous week. It was my first time and the young lady was so helpful, she made two great subs, but I couldn't help but noticed how she made them with such love and care, so that was why I returned yesterday. I went in, was being helped by her, then the owner walked in from outside and started yelling and berating her. After speaking with my wife about it, we decided to write this review to say we will not support such a business owner. I wish the young lady all the best. read more

Finally stopped in to grab some sandwiches for our boat excursion, and we were NOT disappointed! Masterfully prepared subs made to order (the choice of toppings was * chef's kiss * !) were labeled and packed with care for the cooler in record time. These subs were ENORMOUS and delicious! My only regret is that we waited this long to check it out. We'll be visiting this hidden Tequesta gem again very soon! read more

Sandwiches were soo good and lots of meat which I love. Would go back for sandwich alone but Lindsey (hopefully spelled that right) was awesome! People are nice and they make the best caesar wrap ever! It's a little bit spicy but not overpowering it's so good and can't be replicated!

Note this shop is in a Sunoco gas station. Now that we have that out of the way, the subs are great! Love how they thinly slice all the meats fresh on order. The condiment selection is awesome (4 kinds of peppers). Chicken Salad, Club and Italian are all winners in my book. read more

I was a little skeptical being that this was located inside a gas station, but was completely surprised at how friendly and helpful they are. I ordered the Cuban, which was really good, and the woman making it asked if the approximately 12 minute wait was OK before starting. She was extremely friendly and even addressed some of the other customers by name. I will be back to try some other sandwiches. read more

Was visiting the area and have been to many of the local restaurants but decided to check Yelp for suggestions. This sub shop came up and it is SO worth the trip. Best part was being able to grab the subs to go and enjoy them across the street on the beach. Oh, and the owners are so sweet and really love making food for people which is awesome! Located inside the Shell gas station, these 2 guys can make a bunch of different subs. Choose from white or wheat bread- only one size, 8" loaves. Each sub between $7.50-$8.50, HUGE portion. Turkey, roast beef, salami, ham, bacon, tuna salad, chicken salad, meatball, and even veggie subs. Don't want a sub? No problem! Order a salad mixed with a variety of veggies. Or get a hot dog. The menu is simple and the subs don't fall apart which is my favorite part! So glad these guys have been here for 4 years. It'll be awesome when they open an established facility. read more

Fresh bread with ample fillings of cut to order quality meats, along with in-house made tuna and chicken salads. On our first visit we tried three different styles and loved each one. I absolutely love this sub shop and patronized the previous owners and new owners. However i was disappointed when my husband brought home a sub in a plastic clam shell container. Not sure why the shop thinks this is necessary. The last thing we need is more plastic in This world that will end up in a landfill further polluting our earth. This is a great little place tucked away in a gas station. They have some good subs and salads and they cut the meat fresh right there in front of you. It's right across from Juno Beach and so we were are able to take our subs to the beach and enjoy them. OH MAN were they good, just wish they had ranch dressing. But they have all kinds of meats and toppings that you can tell are fresh. The owner says he has a local produce guy. The food is amazing and the owners love making food and that's always the best when people really love what they do. read more

This place is one of the best hole in the wall restaurants I have found. The food is amazing and the man who runs this little place is so nice and is always willing to take the time to chat with the customers. If I had to knock this place at all it would be because they don't have a larger selection of vegetables, but he is willing to add any vegetables you have with you to your sandwich. The subs however are all filled to bursting and taste amazing. During the summer months there is a delivery boy who will drive your order to you on the pier, to your picnic table, and even to the beach stairs!! This place was a little difficult find, it's actually in the Shell gas station. But don't be fooled it's a gem!! Those hard to find places that are awesome. It's very laid back in there obviously, but it's perfect because it's right next to the beach... i got the turkey sub with bacon sub...it's was amazing because they packed it full with veggies and there's this flavor in it that makes it very unique. I'm not sure what part it is, but it's really good. My fiance got the meatball sub, it was delicious. Will definitely go back!!! read more
