I am a School Counselor at the highest poverty, elementary school in Gresham. We are a very busy, high-needs school. I love my job but have been struggling organizationally with it as I have been working in a small room with piles of office supplies, therapeutic tools, paperwork, clothes, shoes and games stacked high. It was a chaotic environment where I could never find anything when I needed it, and kids were always tripping over things. It was stressful and I often found myself dreaming about "if only I had shelves....." Then Kitchen Concepts came into my world. Dave heard my plea of desperation. He came out to my place of work and saw the need. He measured and designed a beautiful plan that included many shelves, drawers, two desks and all the storage I need to succeed. And the best news? He told me he wanted to donate all the materials and the labor. This undoubtedly would have costs thousands of dollars but he decided to donate everything as he saw the real need of a local school. Dave told me that due to ongoing projects, he and his right-hand man John may not be able to complete all the finishes, minor details and fine-tuning of this project due to time constrictions. I totally understood. John and Dave (two of the kindest and most genuine guys you will ever meet) came down to my school to install the cabinets and literally didn't take a single break. They worked like crazy for HOURS and did every every sort of finish, minor detail, fine-tuning and touch-up possible. The outcome was (and is) absolutely stunning. Immediately the quality of my work with kiddos has improved due to the beautiful welcoming space, the ability to find things when I need them and a calming feeling for students as opposed to a chaotic one. I highly suggest this wonderful family-owned business to anyone and everyone out there. They care about our community, give to our kids, work hard, are generous, kind and create a beautiful product! I hired ASD for a complex kitchen countertop and backsplash project after seeing their stunning backlit Crystallo stone installation in a Street of Dreams project. My project entailed a backlit island, multiple cutouts and a curved wall structure. From my first conversation with Marina, one of the owners, I knew I was in excellent hands. She was exceptionally customer-focused, providing multiple updated quotations as my project evolved and offering thoughtful guidance on stone selection and other design decisions. She was patient, knowledgeable, and never tired of my many questions. When I found my Crystallo Quartzite at MSI, Marina offered to pick it up and store it for m and held it for more than two years while I finalized my cabinetry and overall kitchen design. Throughout that time, she checked in kindly and never once showed frustration or impatience. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. ASD's fabrication team is among the best I have encountered. They beautifully fabricated the various pieces of my Crystallo Quartzite, which is an exceptionally delicate and translucent stone. Eduardo and Leo in the fabrication shop were outstanding. They took the time to provide samples, review templates, and patiently create multiple edge samples so I could make an informed decision. Eduardo was nearly ready to leave for the day when I asked for one more edge sample, and he graciously made it without hesitation. It is rare to find professionals who are so genuinely committed to customer satisfaction, and Eduardo exemplified that level of dedication. The installation crew was equally fantastic. They worked diligently, took great pride in their craftsmanship, and were fully invested in delivering the level of quality I was hoping for. Lim, the lead installer, was polite, friendly, and consistently positive throughout the process. The install crew including Juan, Geo, Ivan, and several others--put tremendous care into shaping the edges and polishing the seams to perfection on a very challenging quartzite. Their seam-polishing technique is truly world-class. ASD allowed them to take the time needed to perfect the results unlike other fabricators who rush through projects to maximize ROI. They stayed up late to clean and seal the stone thoroughly before they left. ASD also designed and installed my backlit island waterfall, and the final result is absolutely gorgeous. They artistically assembled slivers of the quartzite to cover my curved wall for a stunning look! Just as importantly, they stand behind their work and assured me they would be available if I noticed any issues after the installation was complete. I highly recommend Artistic Stone Design for any stone fabrication project. Their artistry, professionalism, patience, and commitment to quality are exceptional. I am also grateful to Alex and David for managing my project and seeing it through to completion.

Once they put it in, it looked great but there were a few small, weird marks from when they installed it, and I had to do the sink, gas and faucet hookup myself - which I knew in advance. I did need to ask them to redo the caulking since it was yellow/almond and the countertops and backsplash were white. The sub who came was actively uncool but the folks at the office were perfectly fine to deal with. Overall I'd rate their service 7/10, their quality 8/10, and their value 8/10. LOOK. AT THIS. ISLAND…read more First of all, I went to several granite + quartz showrooms and talked to a bunch of suppliers and installers. Unlike most of them, Natalie was so chill and no-pressure as I browsed. I really appreciated that. Because of that, I trusted her with my business and went with her installers as well. Now her installers.. I was so nervous because I just put my faith in them to make 2 slabs work somehow on this large project with a fairly complex sink and faucet set up. They crushed it. What they did is literally a WORK OF ART. The symmetry, the precision. This is the centerpiece of my house now, where everyone likes to gather round. I have had Crowleys do two of my homes at separate times. In about 2008 they replaced the counter…read moretops in my home in West Linn installing a grey granite that replaced white 5" square ceramic tile. Due to the cabinets also being white the white tile was just TOO much along with the stainless appliances. Their system of using digital cameras to measure the existing counters resulted in just 3 days to remove the ceramic tile and install new counters in the kitchen and dining room, which was a large square footage. The result was amazing and down time was minimal. When we bought an older home in Tigard in 2013 I gutted the kitchen down to studs and rearranged it. We installed all new cabinets and Crowleys supplied a type of stone that made the new kitchen a showpiece of the remodeled home. Again their work was amazing and still perfect and they supplied a stainless faucet as a convenience to us. I can recommend Crowleys for anytype of granite or kitchen stone heartily.

Crowleys fab'd all material for backsplash except they went thicker on my kitchen behind the sink pieces. Three 23 year olds came and installed. Nothing special on the work. Now it's too thick, all others look good but for some reason it seemed like they were too lazy to cut the kitchen backsplash correctly. And if they tell you it's because of the length, and it's fragile, then cut more pieces and bond them together! Duh. Also, when I called to buy back my remnant, was absolutely treated like garbage from the gal who answered. Apparently, I put extra work on her by asking her to run out to the back and give me a quote, then they wanted a delivery charge to make a special trip, oh BTW, they had to make a special trip anyway to give me my 24"x3" piece. Garbage company,, do your self a favor and look around, plenty more places of quality to choose from. Never again.

RCG was a sub-contractor for the contractor I hired. The work on my home started several weeks late due to RCG failing to communicate with my contractor, took weeks longer than their original estimate, and several months after the work has been completed, I am still playing email tag because they have been unable to keep me informed about a backordered floor repair kit. The laborers that performed the work did a great job overall, however there are some gaps in the flooring where they cut to fit corners and edges. The cabinets have some holes where they missed studs and had to relocate the screw and there are holes where they mounted the door on the wrong side of a cabinet and didn't patch the holes.

They were very detail oriented and helped answer all of our questions. We didn't get any sense of being rushed or an annoyance when we were indecisive about details. The cabinets themselves are amazing quality and really elevated our home. The contractor they recommended was amazing and very respectful of our home. We thank her whole team for making this such a seamless renovation. Even with two small children, everything was communicated and caused the least amount of disruption on their part. I'd recommend this team to anyone looking for a detail oriented, thoughtful communicative team.
