We called him to ask why he sealed without making sure the floor was cleaned, he replied with "I asked you not to have the floor wet" !!! The home is vacant and we have not moved in yet! I told him that he is just assuming that we "wet" it? Also even if thats true, should he have mopping and checked before the seal was on? He asked for $7k to fix his mess!!!! He hung up and was very unprofessional the whole conversation.

I don't recommend him, he left my house floor with so many dirty spots very bad serviceread more

After reading Peter's positive review from Yelp and his Internet link, I was very impressed with his exemplary work ethics and positive attitudes. Plus, along with his great knowledge of construction backgrounds, Peter was very friendly, helpful, and professional in terms of handyman service. For instance, Peter kindly offered to take all of these attic debris into recycling/garbage sites on his own with no complaints or gripes at all. Wow, what a nice, generous gesture of him; it actually saved my time and energy, for sure! Then, after the SDGE crews installed the insulation in the attic, the crews told my Mom that they thought Peter did a great job clearing things out of the attic. Obviously, Peter is exactly the type of the true handyman with dignity, integrity, and class that I was looking for, so I definitely want to continue to use him, if needed. Thanks a lot, Peter! ;)

I needed cleaning multiple times as an emergency since I had relatives coming in from out of state and didn't coordinate well enough to schedule before hand. Amanda really helped me and put me in the schedule for the next day even though she was really busy. The great personality she has really makes the job she does even better. They are Honest & reliable which from experience are the two hardest qualities to find in any house cleaning service in San Diego period. I usually dont write too many reviews but they deserve it I have recommended Home Care Cleaning Services to a few diffrent freinds and always have had great feedback from them. Thanks Home Care Cleaning Services you are the best. Sincerely, GP

I really want to give more stars because the owner is lovely and charming. The cleaning that did…read morehappen was pretty good and no problem at all there. The reason for three stars only is because when she left and I went around the house to get happy about everything being clean, I noted that the kitchen hadn't been touched AT ALL. None of the counters were wiped down and the stovetop was still dirty and the sink hadn't been cleaned or wipes down. Then when I went into my bedroom the dresser and nightstands still had layer of dust, not touched at all. When I contacted her about it, I asked if that was intentional and do those services cost more. She replies that yes, indeed, they do cost more. And when I inquired how much more, I got no response. So after paying her $160 to clean a 1500 square foot condo, I felt the service didn't really match the price. I would recommend her for the skill because what was done was done well, but the whole experience left me less than satisfied...

Some kid shows up two plus hours late and tells me I need to have my carpet deep cleaned but he was going to give me a 50% discount. I told him he should absorb the $30+ dollars given his tardiness. Ended up talking to his boss who was unwilling to make things right, said I had an attitude and pulled his guy from the job. Scratching my head with an empty room that needed cleaning, I contacted Upright deep cleaning. Chris answered the phone very respectfully and after telling him what happened, he said "Sir I have a full schedule but am going to fix this and make it right." He charged the same amount as STEAMCO without a Groupon and made my carpet look almost new again. I highly recommend Upright deep cleaning for the toughest jobs, you will not be disappointed!!

I immediately called to schedule an appointment, and as you can imagine, Paul was booked out for 2 weeks. Fortunately, I still was able to get him in before Thanksgiving. Paul texted me 20 minutes before the appointment to let me know he was on his way. He arrived with a mask and put on plastic booties before entering the house. Once doing a quick assessment, he quickly got to work and was done in about an hour and a half. He did 2 staircases, 2 rooms, a hallway, and an area rug with deodorizer. I paid an extra $60 on top of my Groupon for the stairs, so $159 total for the job. I'm happy with everything and will call him again next year!
