The cleaning needed for their house was beyond a deep cleaning. I'd call it a restorative cleaning. Jenny was extremely responsive via Yelp, had open availability and was willing to accommodate. I was able to schedule within 3 days of reaching out. The cleaning ladies were on time and arrived earlier. Jenny ensured to communicate and confirm their early arrival prior to doing so which was greatly appreciated. They were professional, kind, empathetic and did not judge the condition of the house, which was a huge concern for my family member. My family member was so thankful for the empathy, positive attitude and conversations that they had with the cleaning ladies. They truly helped uplift their spirit and told them that they deserved to live in a clean environment that brought them peace. Jenny & her team go beyond just providing a cleaning service. It seems like Jenny has been in this industry since 2008, yet she still hasn't developed basic customer service skills or the ability to stay organized. There was no real apology or accountability, and the dismissive responses I received were incredibly rude. Communication matters when PAYING customers plan their entire day around a service. When I arrived in San Diego, there were several cleaning concerns (ceiling splatters and grease in cupboards and above the stove) that were able to be removed with my cleaning products, so it seems a minor oversight. My main issue is that in each bedroom there appeared to be a rust colored staining on the carpet in each entryway and streaks in other areas of the room. Online appears to suggest wicking or some other byproduct of a machine-cleaned carpet. I contacted the company with pictures and was in contact over text message hoping that they would stand by their work and make it right, however I was responded with reasons that it wasn't their fault and then was ghosted with no reply when I asked why this wasn't brought up in the initial phone call when work was initially completed. If the carpets could not be cleaned, instead of taking money, it would've been better to refuse to do the service and recommend a different one (e.g. replace). The missed spots on the cleaning I could've ignored. But, not standing by your work on the carpets, not working to make it right, and being unresponsive are what I wasn't able to let go.

We moved in and found that the unit was not thoroughly cleaned from when the previous renters lived there so we did some research and decided to hire Fresh-n-Home. I had high hopes for this company because the other reviews were outstanding, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The unit was empty when we hired them to come in and clean so I didn't think they'd have any issues finding the areas that needed to be deep-cleaned. There was candle wax splattered on the walls and floors; caked on grease on the cabinets; food splattered on the wall above the stove; a brown ring in the toilet; mold on the dishwasher; among other things. To their credit, they were able to remove the mold from the dishwasher and the brown ring in the toilet, but everything else appeared to be untouched. In fact, they even broke one of the handles on our toilet and left the pieces on the bathroom counter. I found it rude that they didn't mention the damage once they had left, so I emailed Kelly and she was courteous and offered to send the girls back to clean and fix what was missed. Keep in mind, the first time they came they spent about 4.5 hours "cleaning" the house. A couple days later they came back and fixed the toilet handle and wiped the food splatter off the wall. There was still wax on the wall and she asked me if I would like her to remove it, I said yes. She told me the first time they were there they weren't able to get the grease off the cabinets because we didn't have any hot water since the water heater wasn't turned on. By the end of it, we still had grease on our cabinets and our floors were dirty (even though I saw her mop). They just didn't seem as thorough as advertised. And we were charged $292.50...

We talked after the service to make sure I was happy and they leave a checklist of every item they cleaned. After the initial clean many areas of the house were skipped and still dirty. The initial cleaning took 2.5 hours and we paid $345 plus tip. We contacted them within the 24 hour period to let them know we were not happy with the results and we are busy moving so this is an added stress, they offered to do a reclean. We scheduled the reclean for a week later/today and they gave us the window of 2-4pm for arrival. It's now almost 6pm and they are not responding to our calls, voicemails, or texts to get an update on their arrival or reschedule. Still unclear if they are going to do a reclean and have no info or updates. This has been extremely frustrating because we are trying to coordinate with our land lord and have been busy moving so this was the last issue we needed. We are now going to have to drive back to the house an hour away and clean it ourselves. Update- after I posted this review they finally got back to us and said they were cleaning the house at 6:36pm. We drove an hour the next day to check and it seemed sufficient. Still would not recommend given all the added stress this caused during our move. They didn't offer any type of refund either.
