I hired Junk Pros to clean out a bunch of furniture from my brother's condo, in preparation for new carpet and furniture coming. Julio was very enthusiastic and informative on my initial phone call. He answered all my questions and was able to schedule the pick up for the day I requested. When the team came they were professional and easy to work with. They had even called when they were on the way to give me a heads up on what time they would arrive. My brother is disabled, and the guys were very respectful and friendly toward him, which I really appreciated. They worked quickly and efficiently. If you want to waste your whole day waiting for them to show up then by all means call. I set up an appointment at 12pm and initially there was such a hard time as I was playing phone tag with the guy to set it up. Once I had it set up and the day finally came, they never showed up. I had wanted to get lab work done for my doctor and never could. I called and they said it would be 2:30pm, still no one showed up. I called again a bit before 3pm and they said it would be a half an hour and they did not show up til after 4pm. I do not believe that this company has fair competitive prices. We even have a coupon and they wanted almost $260 on the original quote. While their coupon card starts at $84! We had a love seat some boxes of packing paper and empty broken down boxes and couple other small items. They guy told my husband that just a couch starts at $84. And that he quotes high/over. We had probably less than 1/4 truck load of their trucks if that. When my husband said "no" thank you, they left and came back about 10 minutes later and re-quoted $215. Really! No thank you! Started off well. They called to say they'd be a little late and gave an eta. I went to the storage unit and waited. They didn't show for over an hour and then claimed truck broke down. They could have called. Next estimated 1/2 truck Load and said would pack tight and adjust if less. Next issue was surcharge for mattresses. They wanted $25 each for 5 single bed mattresses. I objected and said I'd try another hauler. Driver called his "boss" for better deal then put me on the phone with him. He said the dump charged h $35 per so he was giving a deal. He also offered to deduct $ 25. This was a lie because the waste management website lists $19 for single mattress ( which I didn't know at the time). He then quoted a flat $400, down from the original $497. I agreed because I didn't have time to start over. The load turned out to be between 1/4 & 1/3 not 1/2 so I was still overcharged. read more

Great service. Huge dumpster with a rear door that swings open. A couple of pieces of plywood for a ramp and I was able to easily dump wheelbarrow loads into it. Was delivered right away and picked up when I texted. They even drained rain water so I wouldn't be charged for it. read more

So disappointed. I had a few pieces of furniture that Salvation Army had no room for and DH said I had to get rid of NOW. So my mom gave me a coupon for these guys. The thing I liked about their website was how they said they'd recycle everything they could, and the furniture I had was in decent condition, so I went for it. The guy I spoke to gave me a rough estimate, based on my description of approx 4 cubic meters, and said it would most likely be $99 for a 1/4 load. We made an appointment for noon the next day. I had to call when they were 20 minutes late, only to be told that they had my appointment at 1:00. Ok, cancel lunch plans. Then they called to say they'd be an additional half hour later because of their lunch. Ok. Then when they came, the driver showed me this elaborate pricing schedule that didn't reflect what the man on the phone told me. My $99 1/4 load was now a $215 1/6 load that didn't apply to the coupon. We negotiated a bit more but the final nail in the coffin was, as they were loading the items in to the truck, they started just smashing furniture in the street to make it fit. So much for donating!!! I told the dispatcher guy I had a bed and armoire, but they sent an almost full truck. They literally kicked the doors off the armoire, kicked out the back and smashed the sides. They did clean the splintered remains off the street, and if I'd taken the pieces to the dump their fate would have been the same, but it still didn't seem to go with their philosophy of trying to donate usable pieces. read more

After a clean up of the garge, I had a load of junk that needed to be discarded. I called Junk Kings (previously used them) - but they were not open on Sunday. Ran across this company on the internet and gave them a try. I needed an apt at 1:30 and specifically mentioned 2PM was too late. They called at 1:15 to say they would be there at 2PM. I cancelled -and wasn't happy. The company called me back and asked to rescheduled. I like the initiative - so I scheduled for Monday morning. Items were picked up properly with area swept. Price was reasonable and in line with what I expected (based on previouls junk hauls). They also took a large box of e-waste that had been collected over years - a box that no other company would take. This was picked up at no additional charge. This was my second time using Junk Pros. I called them in the early afternoon to see if they could pick up a double dresser later that day. To my surprise, they said they could squeeze me in as their last stop! They were running a little late, but called me to tell me so, which was no problem. They arrived on time and couldn't have been nicer. I was concerned about them possibly scratching the walls, as the dresser was rather large and my stairs a little awkward, but they are pros (just like their name) and didn't scratch anything. I hate to write bad reviews and I never do but in my case I had too. I reached out to Junk Pros as a landlord looking to get an apartment emptied. I called Junk Pros on a Tuesday for a Saturday 2pm appointment. They called to confirm on Friday and never showed up on a Saturday. When I called them the person taking the call took down my info and said he would have the drivers get back to me. No one ever did. When I asked him was my name on the list he said their system doesn't work that way that he cannot see the names on the list. I had to call Junk Done Right, they had a guy in the area and the job was done the next day. Im sorry but I did not have a good experience with Junk Pros, if you not going to show please just let people know. read more
