Nothing on the website or my appointment confirmation email (that i could see) mentioned not taking a washer if i didn't disconnect it first myself. I don't know how to disconnect a washer and even if i could, how would I move it, and I told Jacob as much when i scheduled. He said it would not be an issue, but there i was with a non-working washer that my parents (who are growing older, which is why i wanted to utilize the services of Junk King in the first place) had to then help me move. I think the policies are unclear, the pricing is ridiculous considering the only appliance that was taken was the working item that could then be resold at a profit at MY expense, and the gentleman who assisted me (Steve) was very brusque. Polite, yes, but brusque and as a single woman, that's not always the kind of energy that is welcome in one's home. I was made to feel as though i was inconveniencing them because Jacob did not mention the washer/dryer removal on my ticket (that's not my fault, sorry!), they did not have the tools necessary to remove the washer, then they did not even remove the item i MOST needed taken away. It's insult to injury and salt in the wound. I have now found a removal service who will haul away items at a third of the cost of the Junk King (i paid $175 for the pleasure of having ONLY the dryer taken), and am happy to recommend to others that they contract with that service over Junk King as well. In the end, this was an expensive lesson, but i guess the Junk King sees a sucker and takes a lick! They did take the dryer and the gentlemen were polite, so three stars. Junk King does at least SOME of what they say they'll do, but its definitely some JUNK of which they're the king. read more

Thank you Junk King for cleaning out our storage locker. Fast, efficient & reasonably priced.

I needed a sofa removed and I scheduled online. The Guys were great, friendly and professional. My only problem was I never received my quote for removal so I found out when the guys finished. Thanks for the expedient service Guys! read more

Whole thing has been terrible. Arrived late and with a partially loaded truck. Left and were gone for a very long time. Filled the truck up. Charged three times the estimate. Came back a week later to finish the job. Showed up early this time. Loaded up and then dumped in my driveway because I was in a hospital and could not get the calls until I left there. Came the next day and wanted my payment before loading or REloading. Later that day I had fraudulent charges on my card. Don't use these people. read more

I have been doing business with Junk King for over 4 years now and they are the best!! The guys are always friendly and such hard workers including the manager Jeff who does an amazing job!! I highly recommend this company!! read more

Super courteous and cautious! I could not believe how fast they are! They know what they are doing!!

These guys are amazing! Very prompt, courteous and professional. They clear our everything! Give them a try!

Beware. I regret doing business with this company! If you do use this company, request Steve. He was so very nice and professional. He did the job quickly and completely. Thank you Steve and crew. Also, if you use this company you will find that they are extremely disorganized on the business end. They will also overcharge you. When I called them, they came and gave me a quote estimating 4 guys for 4 hours for the demolition work I needed done. I was told the manager would immediately get in touch with me and send a written estimate quote. They did not call me back or send me a written quote. I called and scheduled again. Another man, Steve, from the same Junk King company came out and quoted half the price they'd given me before. He sent me a quote immediately for that lower price. Later that day, the manager, Dallas, called me and quoted me 200 less on the original higher bid saying the original bid was correct but he would give me a discount. $1300 for 4 guys 4 hours. I did agree verbally to this estimate. He said he would send me a written quote. He never did. Steve and his one other crew mate came out and did the entire job in two hours flat. 2 guys 2 hours. One full truck. I paid the full, higher priced, bill. Then I called the office to talk about possibly getting a partial refund. They were very rude and said I paid for the job not the time estimate. I could accept that if that was what was originally presented to me. It was not! If you use this company for light demolition you could pay @600 for one hour of labor. They will speak very disrespectfully to you and tell you that you are at fault and you misunderstood everything. They will not send a written estimate but will tell you that they did. They will not call you back for the job but will say they did but you did not take the call. It's frustrating when a company misrepresents itself then tries to make it your fault. I do take responsibility for not signing a full written estimate explaining their charges. I have learned my lesson. Service: General junk removal read more

Junk King did a fantastic and fast job removing my old hot tub. They were all very professional and courteous and did a great job removing everything left around and cleaning up my patio. They also moved a few items back to my patio. I highly recommend them. I got a quote from another company and they would have charged $150 extra. Also, please be aware that Junk King asks to provide a tip after the job is complete which I gladly provided. read more

I don't know What we would have done if it wasn't for the Existence of this company. They exceeded our expectations in customer service, work ethic, cleanliness, and thoroughness. The job they did for us was 3 trucks full and a large shed tear down. We moved my in-laws out of a home and into another. They lived in this home for many years and with that there was so much to throw out. We were not a position to do the job but we did price a dumpster delivery and contemplated doing it ourselves. The price of the Junk King Service vs the dumpster was a few hundred more, but we would have had to hire labor to help us. Also, the removal of the junk in the shed and tear down was not factored into the dumpster price as they didn't offer this service. The Junk king crew did offer this service. They saved us about 2 weeks of work and saved us from sore muscles!!! On the day they Came to tear the shed down, it was sooo muddy in that area. I felt Teri me, but was so happy that it wasn't us doing the job. The owner's communication was on point. He stayed in constant communication with us and was very accommodating. The guys who worked the job - 4 of them, were absolutely wonderful! They were so polite and picked up all the little pieces left over. It was a hard job and we are so grateful that a service like this exists - specifically Junk King's in Dallas. Please give them a try. If you need to talk to the owner, just ask for him. read more

The lead guy of the two man crew quoted about 3 prices in the first 10 minutes. He also made sure multiple times "they make us charge this". And my favorite, "we work just like waiters" hinting for a tip multiple times. after 25 to 30 minutes of work with light piece of furniture(a hall tree), nothing hazardous, and and box s and general junk. Then I was presented with a bill for over $300, higher than of the several quotes he made earlier. An oily and unprofessional guy. Avoid this scam read more

They asked me to review from a different link but it wouldn't log me into google. Super nice guys! Really pleasant to work with. Easy to coordinate and get ahold of. Reasonably priced. My only complaint is that they scuffed up the door frame carrying the couch out. Our moving company was able to move it in and also move in a bigger couch without scuffing the door frame, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I would rate 5/5 but we're probably going to get charged for the door frame damage since we live in an apartment complex. read more

Junk King Dallas - Door Frame - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I needed some junk removed ASAP, they responded to me within an hour. They showed up the very next day! Need I say more?? These gentlemen were so sweet & very quick! They moved half a truck full of items, in under 30 mins. Thanks so much for your help!! :) read more

EXTREMELY expensive ! Had a minor pile of junk I needed to throw out of the garage. They offer free estimates so I tried to give them a chance. 2 gentlemen came and quoted it at near $500 for about 15-20 minutes of work. They are clearly on crack with these prices. I rather do this myself and save those $500. Stay away read more

I couldn't believe my eyes! Blink, blink and every pile was gone. Some furniture, some e-waste, exercise equipment, just piles everywhere. They were very friendly and considerate of our needs. I highly recommend Junk Kings to anyone. I did leave off a star--the price seemed high. I've never done this before so I was thinking #/worked times hourly fee. I was charged just under $400 so either that's some hourly, or I don't get the process for "dumping junk" read more

These guys are great! I went on yelp and put out a request to several companies. Junk King responded almost immediately. That was yesterday afternoon and the stuff was removed this morning. Fair price. What's not to like? read more

My mother had to be put in a home quite suddenly and my siblings and I have had to get our childhood home on the market. We had a big job for them to do. They came with only one truck the first time and right away one of the employees seemed to be making excuses not to do the job. We decided to do the one truck and the following week once again they only brought one truck when they were told to bring two. The same employee seemed more concerned about having to do his job. He complained throghout the entire time. It was unprofessional and exhausting. read more

I've used the services of Junk King several times. Booking an appointment is beyond easy. The last time I needed them, I booked online at 10 PM for the next morning from 8-10. I've used Junk King twice and they have been easy to schedule, on time and great attitudes. They have done a great job both times.

I had them remove a couch, they were fast, helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend Junk King.

Easy scheduling and great staff! Didn't get 5 stars due to being late for the appointment, but the phone contact I had with their dispatch and the drivers was more than enough to schedule my Saturday morning around their routes. Just note that they do charge based on volume of truck load as opposed to hourly labor. read more

I wish I knew about this company earlier. They are honest, trustworthy and have a well trained staff. We tried to get them to help with my 88 year old mother. She has raccoon waste and the mess they created in her storage shed. This company was not interested in the job and were actually quite rude when we contacted them. I would not recommend them at all. read more

Don't use this company, they are terrible, never gave me a written estimate, never gave me a bill, charged me $2,000.00 and never did the work. Promised to show up several times, called sometimes, and other times they did not. read more

The personnel were super nice and very efficient. After on-site visual inspection, I was given a quote for half a truck. I needed shelves in the garage cleared as well as a storage building and surrounding area cleared out of remains from estate sale. After two hours, I was informed that the truck would not hold any more. The garage shelves had not been touched. Was told that there was more in storage building than they estimated. I would need to schedule another appointment with additional charge to clear the garage. I needed this done so that I could start moving boxes from house to garage before listing my house for sale. I thought the initial price I was given was high, but I needed cleared. However, I am now stuck with clearing and hauling the remains of the garage somehow on my own as I cannot afford to pay for another haul. Had they arrived with an empty truck to begin with, I think it would have all fit as quoted. I am disappointed that the entire job was not complete. read more

BEWARE!!!!. BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! I called their 800 phone number and got a quote. I sent in a photo of the items I wanted removed. Based on the photo, the gentleman on the phone was very polite and quoted me $130. I agreed and placed my order. Three men came in a truck and before they even saw my items to be removed, said my price might be higher. Upon looking and the SAME items that were in the photo, these three gentlemen said the price had changed to $480. I refused and sent them on their way. BEWARE!!! that's all I can say. I had a photo of the quote I received. Quoted $130. Not a verbal quote, I have it on a text. They changed price to $480. BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! read more

Terrible Service. I have used junk-king four times in the previous two months as we are preparing to move out of state. Twice they arrived on time and twice they did not show. 3-4 days earlier this week I had scheduled an appointment for today 11/02/22, 0700-0900. Junk-King did not show. After several phone calls they told that the general manager (Dallas) had informed his employees that I had rescheduled my appointment for 12:00. This is categorically untrue. We needed an early pick up because we have an 8 hour drive to the motel where we are spending the first night of our trip to our new home. The staff told me Dallas would call me. When I finally spoke with Dallas he told me all his phone calls went to voice mail and that was why it was several hours behind he contacted me. (There were no calls to my phone). Prior to the phone call from Dallas, I had spoken to two other employees asking why he hadn't called. (They stated Dallas was not answering his messages) Dallas told me he would be there between 12:30-1pm. I told him my neighbors would handle the finances because I was several hours from Allen. Dallas did not arrive until 2:20pm. I thought the price he quoted was outrageous but I had no choice but to accept it. No Discount. No Offer of an Apology. Of the four visits this one was by far the highest priced but certainly not the largest load. One would think that a general manager would be honest and ethical. I hope I never hear the name of junk-king again. read more

Nick and Chris were very professional and friendly. They communicated well and they were very helpful! Great price too!

Junk King was great! I had a large sectional removed from my old apartment on the second floor. They took it out easily and quickly. They were also very patient with me when I arrived and realized I had forgotten my keys. Very professional people, I highly recommend them! read more

My name is veronica am very disappointed with your company. I had an appointment set between the hours of 12pm and 2pm yesterday, Saturday March 7. A man by the name of nick called me at 11:04am (his cell is 972-8**-8498) wanting to know what I needed to be removed because he may be able to fit it on the truck now. I told him a washer, a small TV stand, and broken down moving boxes. he said he did not have the room so he would be over during the appointment time. He called back at 1:04pm and said he had another small job and he would be over when he finished. He never arrived. I called and left a message at 2:30 letting him know I had an appointment at three. He never called back. I called him again and he answered. He said he is the only truck running today and he was off of Harry Hines. Harry Hines Rd is about 30 minuted from me. I rescheduled my appointment to 4pm and told him he must be here by 3:30 because I had to leave. By 3:45 he still had not shown up so I left. When I get back later in the evening, there is a Junk King card thrown on my porch, the washer is gone, and all the boxes are strewn in the street! I am livid by the lack of professionalism. They fact that he took what he could get money for and left a mess in the street for me to clean is unacceptable! I will be posting this on yelp! and will also be filing a complaint with the main office and the BBB. I cannot believe that a company this big with such a supposedly good reputation would be represented by such a horrible employee! I also took pictures of the mess that was left in the street that I had to CLEAN UP! read more

I sent in photos of what was needed. I insisted for them to come out to give me an estimate. They tried to charge me more than what I was quoted and I had less stuff that needed to picked up than was in the picture. They only have 1 size truck. The workers honored what was quoted and they even said that the headquarters don't listen to them when they explain what is going on at the job sites. read more

Made an appointment a couple of days out. I was given a two hour window and advised I would get a call 15 to 20 minutes before arrival. No call no show.
