I had a full trucks worth of boxes and bags of garbage from an estate clean out. I scheduled online for the next day which was really easy, I realized later I had to push my time back and the customer service on the phone was very easy to change my time to later in the day. The crew gave me a call 30min before they arrived. They arrived on time and promptly got to work. I lended them a hand and we got the mess cleaned up quick. I was very satisfied with the price and the company from customer service to the crew that arrived. Very painless, they took everything I asked them to take. I will definitely be scheduling them again in the near future for another clean out. If you are able give them a hand it goes a long way. Make sure to tip these hardworking people, this is back breaking work. read more

So spoke to junk king who were very good about responding up until they said they could not help us due to an issue with the house which is totally fair! What I don't appreciate is how they said they'd call or message up about a quote after the second estimate and instead cancelled the appointment. The only reason I knew about the issue is because I inquired. I completely understand not being able to help us, but I just do not think it's professional to just cancel and not speak to us. I added a star because before this they were responsive. read more

Wow was I happy to have JUNK KING-come out And haul away a couple of old large, And heavy, tube televisions. One was located up on my second level the other one was in the basement. Would give no stars but cant..Called to get a estimate on some tree branches and the lady I talked to said it would be 85$ per truck load. So they'll send somebody out to do an estimate for me to let me know how much it will be. When they came out to give me an estimate they asked if I knew the prices I said yes $85 a truck load. They said no for this it will be $345 plus tax. I said no thank you. Be careful because they are not giving the correct estimates over the phone. read more

This company was fantastic. Needed a service to remove some unneeded items from my moms basement. Initially, I was planing on using a different company. We had great service from start to finish. I started by finding this company by a quick google search and had an appointment scheduled online within minutes. I received a confirmation email and on the day the company was coming received a call when they were 45 minutes out. Online, I thought it was going to be somewhere between $120-148 for our not that heavy, not that super big couch. When the guys got here, they charged us their minimum rate of $75 which was fantastic. The guys were in an out within minutes and were friendly, professional and efficient. I would highly recommend using this company to take care of all of the junk in your house that you want to get rid. When it is time to downsize or declutter, Junk King is THE KING!! read more

"I don't want to deal with my own junk." - said every person, everywhere So, it's not a surprise that junk is big business. When our "included-with-the-house" ancient basement freezer went out thanks to a blown fuse, we needed to get rid of it fast. Our nostrils and sanity were dependent on it. I did a little Yelp search and texted photos and info to the number provided and lo and behold, I had an estimate and an appointment the following day within a 2 hr window. The two gents gave me a courtesy call 35 minutes ahead of time and showed up precisely when they said they would. Within an hour they removed the old, stanky freezer (even removed and reattached a door). The guys were professional, friendly, and efficient. If you've got junk, like physical junk to remove from your home, Junk King is well...king. read more

Tried booking with Junk King to get rid of debris from the yard, Andrew overpriced me and got upset over the phone when i didn't agree with the pricing. I'm a firm believer he doesn't care for this business nor do the other "higher ups". read more

Rate was high. Charged me $180.00 for a couch, loveseat and I asked to at least throw in the floor model tv for that price. Recommended them to my uncle, who's moving, his 2 car garage was halfway full with thing he was getting rid of ( tables, chairs, stands, etc) and was charged $500-$600!!! Doesn't seem fair. Maybe it was the 2 different crews, but it should be a set and reasonable rate read more

First time customer after seeing all the positive reviews. Our call were answered promptly with courtesy. They asked a few basic questions and scheduled someone to be on site within 24 hours to provide a free estimate. If agreed, they remove the items right on the spot. 2 people arrived with the truck, assessed the junk, showed us a price sheet and give us a quote based on the truck load. No pressure at all. We agreed with the price and they made our junk disappear in 30 mins. We are happy with the speed, the professionalisms and the ease of payment (no touch). Highly recommend Junk King Chicago West to get rid of your junk. read more

I reached out to Junk King to try and remove some stuff on our deck. To be honest I didn't check other places to compare prices (I normally do, though the price they quoted sounded reasonable) I was eager to get rid of the stuff and in less than 24hrs from reaching out to them POOF GONE. They were on time and called when they were on their way, it took probably less than a min for them to assess and give us a quote and they were off to work and done in probably ~2 hours for what I thought was an enormous amount of stuff. They concluded with sweeping up any debris on the driveway. I'm happy and would give them a call again it was 100% a no hassle experience for me. read more
