Edgar and his crew were fabulous! Edgar came right over to give his estimate on cleaning out and removing two storage sheds full of my father's ancient junk. Price was very reasonable. He did the work on July 4th. He had a crew of five and only charged for two. They had the job done in 3 plus hour -- hauled everything out in two large dumpster loads and left the site spic and span! JUNK HEROS are MY HEROS!!!!! Woke up early morning to major wind damage. I had a 10ftx10ft shed that had blown up in the air and landed upside side impaled on my fence and was partially in my driveway. It wouldn't budge. I called SHAWN at 7:00AM in a panic he responded quickly and said he would be there within an hour. He was here earlier. He checked out the damage and returned with EDGAR and the proper equipment for the job. I asked them please to be careful of the plants, tree's and fence so they wouldn't be destroyed or damaged further by lifting this broken shed from the fence and out of the drive way. They did just that!! They used a crane to lift up the shed and very carefully made sure nothing else got crushed or destroyed. Then they straightened up my fence so you could hardly tell anything had happened to it!!! These guys were amazing. They were really friendly, low keyed, caring, fair pricing and did a fantastic job!!!!! Finished up by 10:00AM. I couldn't have been happier. read more

We needed stuff cleared out of our garage and after another major junk company (who shall remain nameless) flaked on us TWICE, we decided to give Junk Heroes a try. Called them on Friday, appointment set for Saturday. I needed about two trucks full of tree trimming waste hauled. Some of our tree trimming waste had fallen into our neighbors property. Junk Heroes Edgar and his crew cleaned up everything. The gate to our building closed at 6pm and they had to find a creative way to remove the tree trimming waste. Edgar texted me pictures of the cleaned up area after the work was complete. Credit card processed over the phone. Receipt sent via text. A+ job. We will be using your services again. read more

Hired Junk Heroes for a last minute junk removal. They arrived 1 hour late, after that really the truck was more than half full. I really had a few pieces of furniture and some boxes. I ended up paying a 3/4 load. I had more junk removed in the past for way cheaper. Junk Heroes really took advantage of my situation and charged me more than what I had. I'm giving this business two stars because it did pick up our trash (mostly construction debris) at the time it said it would. But the owner wildly misrepresented the price. He told me that his starting price was $120, but that he couldn't give an exact price until his drivers-haulers saw the job. It would depend on how much space it occupied on the truck. As it turned out I couldn't be present but my wife was at home when the truck came. They collected the trash and told her we owed $650. This was five times the base price. I thought this was unreasonable for the amount of trash we had, and called the owner and told him so. He said he would talk to his drivers-haulers when they returned for the day and call me back. It has been ten days now and he never called me back. I am surprised at the glowing reviews this business has received. I would never use them again. I have since found out that I could have had a dumpster delivered to the house, loaded it myself, and then had it picked up--for a cost of about $160. Sometimes we live and learn. read more

I had a thankless situation involving someone who was homeless and who had parked his stuff on my patio until he could get his act together. He had three months, then six months, and by the end of it, he was not making anywhere near the effort necessary to sort through his things and find a new place for them. It became a health and fire safety issue, and there was no way to resolve this to the stuff owner's satisfaction or mine. I finally had to call Junk Heroes to take the stuff away (on advice of legal counsel). This was an enormous amount of stuff, and they managed to fill up their truck within 2 hours and haul it away. In the process, they paused to let the owner of the stuff check through boxes so that he could rescue his family mementos (a lot of this stuff was heavy books, obsolete tech, and clutter). This way, we kept his family possessions with him, but the hazard was gone, leaving me with breathing room and a safe home. The heroes were compassionate, courteous, and made the extra effort to keep the cost down for us. I cannot recommend them enough! read more
