Dare you putt your way through the jungle mini golf course on top of Cabot's circus shopping centre?? I LAUGHED MYSELF SILLY playing crazy golf here last week. 2 courses, 18 holes and an active volcano (not a real one obv). The course is spankingly new and looks like a set from Tomb Raider, all vines and fake temple ruins, swamp etc The course takes an hour in total and is a great way to have fun, and like me, get your competive edge out. You don't have to take kids with you, just go with your mates - its more active for brain and body than sitting in the pub. It's not expensive either - about £7 and lots of concessions available - kids, students and OAPs. The 'Hideout' cafe is also good for a simple cuppa and a cake after your game. I really really really wanted to like this place. It looks so cool from the outside, and the fact that it's inside a shopping centre oozed credibility for me. But he thing is, it's really expensive for what is essentially nothing more than your standard, run of the mill Butlins inspired mini golf. The holes weren't imaginative. Nothing like the mind-blowing mini golf I experienced in Queenstown, New Zealand where your ball rolled into a miniature roller coaster, and a castle, and a HUGE exploding volcano. No, this one does nothing like that. What's worse is that it's really expensive. I guess kids may enjoy it, but for anyone older that the age of 12 will find it boring and repetitive. read more

Possibly the least fun work outing I've ever been on. Packed to the brim with screaming children and annoying teens it was hard to raise a smile in this indoor miniature golf course. Don't get me wrong - I normally LOVE mini golf, but this expensive, dark and dreary course was as much fun as a visit to the dentist. The concept of having a crazy golf course in a shopping centre was a new one for me, but actually seems like a great idea! Adventure Golf takes up the space of three shops and offers people of any age entertainment for an hour or two - which can be a great change from shopping especially for the kids! You could even drop your children off here knowing they are in the safety of the shopping mall, do your shopping, and then pick them up an hour or so later - what a genius idea! The course itself is really well designed and decorated; it takes on the theme of a jungle and has loads of plants, themed music, as well as a 'hide out café' for a break between rounds! The courses range in length and time, and are priced accordingly - for an 18 hole round you can expect to pay £7 an adult, £6 a student, and £5 for children, which isn't bad at all! Another bonus is the opening times - the adventure golf doesn't shut along with all the other shops, and instead stays open till 11pm so could be a great new option for a family evening out. With surrounding restaurants in Cabot, as well as the large Show Case cinema, you could really make an evening of it! read more

I really try to avoid writing bad reviews as one man's experience should be taken into context, but I was so looking forward to going to Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf and I was so bitterly disappointed I can't help myself. First of all, I love crazy golf as I find it's a relatively cheap and fun way to waste an hour or two, so when I was told the price of admission was £7 I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing. My shock was compounded further when they said that was for only half of the 36 holes. If I wanted to play both courses it would cost me £14! I was tempted to turn around and walk out there and then, but I figured these courses must be pretty awesome. Like the totally over the top ones you see in American films with waterfalls and windmills and the rest of it. You could imagine how disappointed I was when the craziness I was expecting amounted to nothing more than the odd hump or bend on the course. Pretty much as naff and as challenging as the ones you'll find on Weston sea front which cost £2. If they had used the space to make an 18 hole course, filled it with interesting and original holes, then it might have been worth the money. Instead they've crammed in two courses in the hope of getting suckers to pay for another round. Can't see this place lasting long. read more

For some reason I get very excited by the prospect of crazy golf. So when I noticed that an indoor adventure golf course had opened in Cabot Circus - Bristol's new-ish shopping centre - I knew it was only a matter of time before I checked it out when I was in the city for a family visit. Today was that day. I must admit it's not the 'craziest' golf I've ever played. The decor and sound effects were all quite atmospheric, but the 18 holes themselves were quite straightforward for the most part (you can choose between two courses but they're both pretty similar). Although, saying that, I did lose. I thought £7 per adult was pretty steep for 45mins or so of entertainment, but if you're with kids you can buy a family ticket to save a bit of money. They also do party and corporate (??) packages. All in all, a good spot for a kids birthday bash, but don't make a special journey for it. read more

The only reason this mini-golf experience gets two stars instead of one is because we were able to play for 2 for the price 1. The holes themselves are incredibly boring. If you're expecting even 1 iota of that American style crazy golf excitement, forget it. The later holes get NO less crazy than the early holes, nor no harder. The set looks pants, frankly. The people manning the booth were completely disinterested in the job. If you go on the cheap, like I did, and go when it is very quiet (during the daytime) then you'll have a laugh to some extent. If you go when it's busy, you'll wish you hadn't. read more

Superb time out and a real hoot in the middle of Bristol. We chose this location for our evening out for the office event and were not disappointed. What a great evening out. The indoor crazy golf was a great success and we had good fun as a group moving from hole to hole. There are 2 courses you can choose and move around and each has 18 holes of fun and games. Even when its busy its self regulated and loads of fun. You can buy a combination package which will give you some drinks for free. read more

Excellent way to spend some time with friends whilst the rain pours outside. There are two courses available to choose from both offering great props and atmosphere with a final hole to try and win a two for one voucher. The bar whilst well stocked is quite pricey, however. read more

My son is mad on golf and does have private lessons But for his birthday he wanted a golf party the golf club he belongs to does not do partys so I decided to have a party at jungle rumble !! I got to admitt the manger is not at all very helpfully and tbh we were left by are self the whole time I had to go and ask for someone to clear food away and that one of the kids had spilt there drink. About 15 mins later they brought some blue roll up and for me to clear it away ! Also even tho I phoned up with list of food the kids wanted as I had a veggie they still managed to get 2kids wrong. There was no knife folks they were expected to eat pizza and chip with there hands and normal I say this is not hard if it was a slice of pizza but these were round circle cheap pizza They also never had a light for my son candels so all in all I got to say it was not the best party my son had If I could give no stars I would as it very poor show would not recommend for kids party my son was 8 he loved it but for £12.95 per kid not worth it read more

We visited this today for my 9 year old son's birthday treat. We took 5 boys and they had a great time. We'd never visited it before and so didn't know what to expect. I don't know why some of the reviews on this site are so negative as we didn't find anything to complain about! The course was challenging enough (it took just over an hour), the staff friendly and the cafe was reasonably priced with a good choice of food. The whole place is quite unique and my son loved it so much that he wants to go back next week with his little brother! read more
