My cousin's exam lasted only about four minutes, and mine was similarly brief. Shortly after the visit, we both developed pink eye, which raised serious concerns about the care and hygiene during the appointment. During multiple follow-up visits, the approach felt repetitive and dismissive. Dr. Salzman primarily prescribed antibiotic eye drops at nearly every visit, even after my pink eye had already cleared. There was little explanation provided, and no meaningful discussion of what might be causing the ongoing issues. At one visit, she noticed an eyelash in my eye and again defaulted to prescribing more drops. At my last visit on Tuesday, I still had an issue with my left eye and was once again given antibiotic drops without a thorough evaluation or clear explanation. Overall, the appointments felt rushed and overly focused on prescribing medication, rather than carefully examining the issue or addressing concerns. I did not feel listened to or properly evaluated, and I left feeling frustrated rather than reassured. I expected a much more careful and patient-centered experience, especially for what began as a routine eye exam.

My husband started over a week ago. I started 4 days previous. Concerned about lettuce born pathogens, C diff in elderly, we finally went to Urgent Care. Instead of stool samples- they run up the Medicare bill with blood, urine.. ok.. A double masked rather large woman comes in. Hard to hear her thru the masks. Started telling my husband he needs CT for diverticulitis. He declines. I said we have the same symptoms. She tells me to be quiet. Says antibiotics could kill him. He says he will die. He takes antibiotics all the time. She finally gives him Flagyl. He signs against medical advice for CT & antibiotic. My turn. She says. She is not giving me anything. She doesn't like me. Because, behind the curtain, she must have heard me say, "Where the hell did she go to school?" She says, I am having heart problems. Need to go to ER for Echo right away. Need EKG. I say, no shortness of breath, can go up & down steps without problems, no symptoms? I decline both & sign her papers. It was a total waste of time for me. This woman is why Medicare is going bankrupt!

My daughter was denied treatment due to an outstanding balance, which raises serious concerns about patient care and billing practices at this location. Healthcare decisions should prioritize medical need, and this experience left us deeply troubled. I encourage anyone considering this facility to carefully review patient feedback and be aware of their billing policies before seeking care.

Eye surgery was performed by Wilson Ko, M.D. who did a mediocre haphazard job. Post-operation after care was non-existential as my family member was in utter abject pain and intensely suffering intolerably. My family member was instructed to be seen by two (2) separate charlatan O.D. on three (3) consecutive dates who both are inexperienced, faineants speaking Mandarin via interpreter for obfuscate the truth were futile as treatment of a medical laboratory mouse experiment. So, my family and I travelled here to this office every single freaking day only to be seen by another charlatan O.D. for hum ma, hum ma as a cock and bull story response?? Low and behold my family member blurted in English boisterously loud her opposition with strong repartee whom the staff were nonplussed. What kind of M.D. doctor who does NOT accept responsibility for follow-up post-operation after care of his patients for surgeries that HE performed? The staff and charlatan O.D. always cited "he's on vacation" or "he's working in his Brooklyn office" and followed by "he's working in his Flushing office" as every excuse under the sun for the inability to treat my family member to elude himself from the medical responsibility and accountability!! Wilson Ko, M.D. lacks ethical behavior provoking ire from my family member and family. Possibly ergophobia? Egregiously excessively poor ophthalmology and poor customer service specifically targeting the elderly. Faineants!! Wilson Ko, M.D. is the most professionally qualified, most experienced doctor in this eye care clinic, Advance Medical Eyecare that contains multiple ophthalmologists but is unavailable all the time!! Patients will endure a perilous unhealthy lifelong circuitous journey.

The nurses were incredibly kind, friendly, and reassuring, and they made me feel safe and comfortable right before the procedure. The treatment coordinator, Ty, was also amazing. He was extremely thorough, explained all of my treatment options clearly, and even called me the next day to check in and see how I was doing. That level of care really stood out to me. I decided to have the SMILE procedure with Dr. Niksarli after several of my friends recommended him based on their own experiences with him years ago. He was incredible--patient, gentle, and reassuring throughout the entire process. These are qualities you don't always find in doctors or surgeons, but Dr. Niksarli truly displayed every quality you would want in a physician. The procedure itself went by so quickly. They even give you a teddy bear and a comfortable blanket, and the entire experience was completely painless for me. This procedure has truly changed my life. I had been wearing glasses for more than 10 years, and now I have clear vision without them. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you so much to Dr. Niksarli and the entire team. I was with you when you started at the bottom in that office in Great Neck,To the nicer one on the top floor of a building on 63rd drive. Now, we're here, at a hidden gem off of Yellowstone Blvd. You have your own office suite, and you have doctors working under YOU. ...and I'm still here boo. I've personally recommended countless people to his office. His staff is great, and polite. He has shown me with my own two eyes, conditions on skin that several doctors could not treat or figure out, in a matter of minutes. just by staring and poking at it. He really takes care of you, and touches you.....not in a creepy Bill Cosby way, but in a concerned doctor way .....ummm Allow me to explain myself. I have gone to dermatologists and doctors that won't touch you at all, let alone go near you. if you say; "doctor, I have this thing that started growing...." They just look at you and get skeeved out. This doctor does not. He gives a crap, he is always concerned about your health and well being. As a doctor should be. I mean for crying out loud, after a year of going to see him, my skin, hair and nails improved dramatically. I have seen him do miraculous things. Aside of being a product of his own work by fooling me into thinking he is just shy of 30, when he could be my grandfather! My jaw dropped. They do everything here you can think of. I am one happy patient. They just get very , very busy. so as much as I believe they accept walk-ins, if you do not have an appointment, depending on the day, you could be waiting a while.

The price isnt even the actual issue, it's the service received. You dont treat patients like this. Fuck this place. Never coming back. Went to another derm and got charged only $15. Staff was so nice & efficient. Doctor didnt rush me and was happy to answer my questions.
