I was on my 2nd floor patio on a Saturday night and my sliding glass door self-locked on me. This was one of the few places open so i called someone answered right away. He actually talked me through how to open my sliding door while locked and i was back in after a three minute phone call. The least i can do is leave a five star rewiew and i know who to call and recommend in the future. Thanks again! read more

I had to request a service for a lockout and have a new key cut and fob programmed. I was in the area of Olympia/Lacey and was recommended Jumpstarts & Lockouts from a friend. The service was great and fast. The communication was also great prior to meeting up. The cost was broken down and showed me how much each part cost and service. Will use service again if needed. Highly recommended. read more

Answered the phone on the first ring, gave me a quick and accurate quote, then headed straight to my location. Arrived promptly and let me back into my apartment within 10 minutes. Worth the money for the quick service, especially when the landlord's emergency line is unanswered and the locksmith listed before this one has a dead phone number. Definitely saving this number for next time, although there hopefully won't be one. read more

Jumpstarts and Lockouts is a great local company. We got locked out of our house during a power outage (typically go through the garage using the garage clicker and neither of us had our keys). Another company quoted us like $300 and a two hour wait time. William quoted us a much more reasonable amount and thirty minutes and was there in 20. It was late on a Sunday and he was kind and did not charge extra despite how long it took for him to find a way to get us in (I guess we should be glad our house is super secure?). At any rate when I wanted a key fob programmed and vehicle key copied I reached out and again got quick professional service at a reasonable cost that saved us a lot versus going to the dealership. I would recommend him especially for lockouts as he was faster and cheaper than other places I looked at while waiting for the power to come back on. read more

Great price, nice vibe, I HIGHLY recommend this company. Best prices after calling around

When you hire a locksmith, you are giving complete access to your home because locksmiths can unlock and lock anything, anytime. There are so many businesses advertising locksmith services and I'm always leery about giving the fox access to the hen house. And of late, there are many, many locksmith businesses advertised on Google, and they pay for the "Google badge" to give consumers a false sense of trustworthiness. Please do not fall for this Google badge, it is easily acquired with unverified documentation. After some deep research, I found William's business. His customer reviews are authentic. He gave me options for my security / lock needs. He is honest, dependable, high skilled, easy to talk to, quick to provide excellent customer service, responsive, timely. You really cannot find anyone better to entrust your security. William has my highest recommendation. read more

William was great. We were able to schedule same day service and it was all very easy. Would absolutely work with him again.

Thank you William for responding quickly when it came to replacing my husband's motorcycle key. I also liked that you were able to provide me a quote beforehand as well. Would definitely recommend this company! read more

Well, to my surprise, when I went to enter my house in a rush, my entire front door handle fell right off my door! I could see a small piece of metal plate that had broken, so I picked up a replacement. I called William and he said sometimes they do that. :) He was able to get out in a few hours and also replaced a deadbolt on a different door that didn't match, and offered to switch an outdoor handle that is often seen and very weather worn with one that isn't seen but is covered and in much better condition. Great guy, very friendly, professional, did great work at a fair rate, and he was done so quickly! Thanks lots William! I'll have you out if ever I have any more projects that call for a pro! read more

Great customer service. Great service and communication. Great timing. Thank you Sir.

On time and extremely friendly! Rekeyed, programmed and helped troubleshoot the faulty key fob. Would highly recommend!

This company is a scam. They quoted $29 plus labor. They actually charged $269. They lie about the cost. Do not trust this company.

Responsive, fairly priced, honest. I would recommend him to others and call him again. Easy to work with. My mom doesn't have keys to her front door. The door to garage doesn't have the right kind of doorknob, making it easy to get locked out. We got set up and the job done over a holiday weekend. Payment was easy, on the spot and off we go. He gave good advice about another question we had. Thanks so much! read more

We accidnetly locked ourselves out of our house at 1030pm. Gave them a call, stated they would be on their way within 30 minutes. Luckily for us, my son happened to wake up and we were able to open the door prior to them arriving. I called them back and explained the situation. They were more than understanding and I really appreciate them being so cool about it when I no longer needed their services. I would definitely recommend them based on their excellent customer service alone! Thanks again! read more

Locked my keys in my car and called William. Very fast response and great service. Took 5 minutes finish the whole process. Great price too.

William was actually the 3rd locksmith I called, after locking my keys in my car. The first one, (24 hour service) the dispatcher called me back a few minutes later to say she was unable to reach her technician. The 2nd one (also 24 hour service) took all my information, kept calling me Mrs. Gonzalez. (yeah, not my name) Then told me if no one called me back in 15-20 minutes then no one was available and wouldn't be until early morning. ( Apparently their definition of 24 hour service differs from mine. So, I called Jumpstarts and Lockouts next and got a recording, giving me a 2nd number to call, which went directly to William. He arrived earlier than his estimated time and even texted me to say he was a minute away. He was fast, efficient, friendly and had a calming demeanor. Took him 30 seconds to get the door open. Jumpstarts and Lockouts will be my first call next time. Because, lets face it, this wasn't my first time and probably won't be my last! The cost is also amazingly reasonable. Thank you, William and Jumpstarts and Lockouts. read more

He was very friendly and showed up fast. Didn't have any hidden fees. I highly recommend him.

I needed to get a spare key laser cut for my truck, I called and locksmith was just finishing up another job and arrived at my residence in less than 20 minutes. He cut the key on-site and confirmed that it worked the door locks and ignition. He even waited around while I self-programmed the key FOB to my truck. Outstanding quality service with great attention to detail, highly recommended! read more

William was fast and friendly and good at what he does. Had two spare keys cut and programmed for my truck, in less than an hour. I highly recommend him! Very honest business owner! read more

Great service couldn't help me with my issue but referred me to a company that could! If needed in the future I'll call them first!

Life saver!!! Called and asked for a quote for a lock out for my house. He told me he normally does car lockouts but was willing to help me out. Me and my husband were out of town he flew back home and i flew to visit my parents. Well i took the house keys with me. When he arrived back home i had to get him a hotel right by our house. When I called and explained my situation. He went above and beyond and offered to pick up my husband on the way to house. He was very nice and great price! I definitely recommend him. My husband was able to be home tonight thanks to him. Again thank you!! You are a life saver!! Forever greatful! read more

I was in an awkward situation away from home. My car is notorious for locking itself on its own. I was on the road for work, loaded my car with keys in ignition, shut my door, and my car locked. I wanted to get started on my job,, so was ridiculously frustrated. The nice lady from my paper supplier offered up her husband and it turns out he owns J&L. He showed up (I forget his name, sorry!) And had to do three different methods to get my door unlocked but awesome job he did! I would imagine it'd be a fairly quick job but for me it was a bit longer, 5-10 minutes maybe. Either way I was satisfied. Because of the weird situation, but definitely appreciated, he didn't charge me and I said I'd give him a good review instead. Thank you to all involved! Friendly, competent, & easy-going. read more

Though we eventually didn't need the assistance, the professionalism was excellent! Support local business folks!

I called these guys today when I accidentally locked myself out of my running car with my toddler strapped in her car seat. Not only did they make every effort to get to me quickly ( within 10 minutes), they were incredibly kind to me in one of the most panic stricken moments of my life. Quick and painless. Thank you. read more

I just wanted to thank the owner of this business! He came to a true emergency today within 15 minutes and I am so thankful! Today I put my purse (with keys in it) on my passenger seat, let my dog jump into the passenger seat (like I do all the time), opened the back door and put my son into his car seat, and shut all doors while I went to walk around to the drivers side...my dog jumped on the window and hit my power locks and locked the doors with my son inside, my keys, my phone, my money! The owner of this business (I'm sorry I didn't get his name) answered and gave me a 15min quote not even asking how I was going to pay, he was there in 10 minutes and had me into my car within seconds! His price is very fair and I couldn't be more thankful!! I had called 2 other places before calling this place and both knew my desperation and quoted me 45 minutes after asking how I was going to pay for the lockout. I know it's business, but this owner didn't even ask he just said he was on his way! So thank You! read more

So I made an awesome mistake of locking my keys in my cars ignition......so I was calling around for the cheapest unlock service in Thurston County and this won BY FAR! Only 42.00! Sweet deal.... The receptionist was VERY VERY nice and the man who came to unlock my car only took 30 seconds to do so and was so polite. They even gave me a repeat offenders discount card! I will definitely use this service again if I put myself in this situation in the future. read more

I usually never write reviews but I'm so livid, decided to sign up and make an exception. I called and requested a jump start for my Hybrid car. The tech/mechanic was so polite, helpful and courteous. She managed to figure out where the battery was hidden and had to take extra steps in order to pop the trunk open in order to access it...and then easily she jump started it. Easy peasy! I went to get my wallet from inside the house and during that time, my car shut off as the key faub was out of range. Neither of us noticed it and after she charged my card...she left to go on to her next job. I noticed that my car wasn't on seconds later and went to start it again and of course it didn't work. So i called them again asking for assistance...thinking they'd do it free of charge since I literally just paid for the service and it wasn't complete. What was I thinking? Why would I think that? Granted she did offer to reduce it by 50% because the tech was already at the next job and of course that means minutes later she would have used $20 worth of gas or whatever resources that would be worth another $20 to charge me. At first I said okay, but then I decided I could live without my car and will just wait until my husband returns from deployment to jump start my car. This is the second time I used this company...the first time was such a success I decided to call them this time. But never again. I'm sure my money is a drop in the bucket for them, but I'll be sure to pass it along to my friends as well our military network in Lacey and Olympia. At a time when the economy is so low, why would I expect anything less than an "every man for himself" approach even from a locally grown hometown business. Congrats Jumpstarts & Lockouts you got $42.00 for providing absolutely nothing at all. Thank you....sincerely. read more

I can't say enough nice things about this Jumpstarts and Lockouts' service. The woman who answered my call was friendly and cordial and the mechanic arrived in less than 30 minutes despite rush hour traffic. When the initial jump didn't work the mechanic cleaned the connections on my battery and got it going smoothly. He also answered all of the questions that I had about various problems I'd been experiencing with the car. The price is the cheapest in Olympia and the service is amazing. Highly recommended. read more

Fast, cheap, and friendly! My friend and I locked ourselves out of our car, and all we had to do was call and someone was there to help us in 15 minutes. We used the offer they had posted on yelp and it only cost us $40 for the house call. The guy who showed up was super nice and had the door unlocked in about 30 seconds flat. I will definitely use their services again next time I'm locked out! read more

We called for help after locking our keys in the vehicle. Even though it was early in the morning and the roads were awful due to the snow storm he made it to us in about a half hour! This prompt service saved the day for us because we had an important medical appointment that we needed to get to. Definitely recommend and would use again (but hopefully won't need to)!
