I have been a part of this community all my life, for 15 years I've attended "Music in the Park", at Sylvester Park. I have always parked in the parking lot behind the Department of Personnel Building. On July 15, when I returned to my car after the concert it had been stolen. We looked around the lot; in the bushes was a sign for Summit Towing. The law (RCW 46.55.070) states if a vehicle is parked in a parking lot for less than 24 hours (mine was 10 minutes) that there must be signs posted at each entrance. There are 3 entrances to the parking lot, 2 have no signs, and 1 has a sign that is on the ground surrounded by bushes. There are 2 signs, 2 feet tall, next to the dumpster; if a car is parked next to the dumpster the signs are not noticeable. Why aren't there any Summit Towing signs at all 3 entrances as prescribed by law? And why aren't the signs that are placed on each side of the dumpster, higher than the level) of a vehicle? It is to Summit Towing's advantage not to have signs posted visibly at the entrances. The owner told me that he had picked up 10 cars on July 15, from that lot (for a whopping $3,000.00). Was the reason the carnival worker cars assigned parking spaces in front of dumpsters so the public wouldn't see the signs? It's very deceptive. I told the owner of Summit Towing, I was filing a complaint he told me, "waste your time if you want", he sounded as though he was untouchable. our Car broke down on the freeway this last weekend with all three of our children aboard , in our way to our daughters first birthday party. We were already running late and then this happened , so we contacted Summit Towing fir a rescue and the driver they sent happend to have enough room to take our whole family home with the vehicle which seems to never happen. When he arrived he was such a happy sweet soul he even buckled our littles car seat in and had the most enjoyable conversation about life with us in the way back home. Having the day we had couldn't have been made better had he nit helped brighten our day thank you Brett Dodge for your kind words and amazing personality some times it's the simple things that mean so much , and thank you Summit Towibg for an amazing experience I will be recommending them to all my family and friends here for sure. Today I got stranded at Costco, and as I had roadside assistance through car insurance, Summit towing was sent out to take my car to our local repair shop. It was necessary to transport my car via flatbed. The fist truck that came out was a tow- behind, and the operator determined it required a flatbed, arranged for one, and stayed, and let me sit in in his air conditioned truck until the flatbed arrived, about 15 minutes later. Although my car is 22 years old, it's a sports car in very nice condition. The operator was very careful in loading and unloading. Both operators, Tim and Jeff, were very friendly and extremely courteous. Summit should be proud to have Tim and Jeff in their employment! Thank you Summit. I just had an auto breakdown during a very stressful week & the breakdown caused a domino effect of awfulness. But Summit was AMAZING! From the first phone call I placed to the wonderfully gentle, soft-spoken, capable, sweet Jazzon who showed up & saved the day. I couldn't resist giving him a big hug & I was embarrassed about crying so hard when he got the car going. He was understanding & so lovely. I told him he was a hero & he didn't believe me. But, seriously, his help & his demeanor meant the world to me! Summit's number is in my phone now & I will always call them FIRST. I just hope my hero Jazzon is still there if I ever need him. :-) If not, I sure hope he's moved on to a position he likes better. He deserves great things! read more

Summit Towing goes over and beyond. I was told by my Roadside service, that I could wait up to 3-4 hours before tow truck would be out here since Car had to go to Seattle! Summit Towing was here in less than 30 mins, with two trucks. Incase they could not put on flat bed, they might have to dolly the car. I have a Tesla, I haven't had any issues until today. Had an Update issue that would not start the computer back up. Called Tesla Road side, and the nearest Tesla service is in Seattle. I am in Tumwater. I am not a person that leaves reviews, however Jeff and the other young man were so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and treated my car as their own. Highly recommend Summit Towing. Thank you! We called summit auto towing and needed to have a car removed from our field and it ended up being a huge huge problem, but in the process of getting the tow truck stuck and everything took about an hour and a 1/2 , but Giovanny, the tow truck driver, was very kind, very happy, he didn't complain one time! At the end of it all finally got the car out, got it hooked up, got it removed, got it out of our lives and he had a smile on his face the entire time! I was on the way to work and my car broke down, wheel locked, breaks weren't compressing, terrible. When I went to look for towing I saw most places in my are were closed except for Summit since they're 24hrs. I called and they got someone to me within 30 minutes. Jeff (the responding driver) was really helpful and was quick in getting my car hooked up. He was helpful and let me know that my breaks needed to be checked (100% right). What an excellent company! Sunday, Mother's Day, 8pm, 250 miles from home, broken car. My call was answered promptly, and the dispatcher was very friendly and efficient. The driver, Derek, showed up within 20 minutes, got my car up on a dolly quickly, took us and our dog to a local pet-friendly hotel (even found us a luggage cart!), and dropped my car off at the repair shop for me. For having an unexpected breakdown, this company really made our day turn out alright. I want to honor Tim for his assistance to me this afternoon. I called Summit because my mini cooper wouldn't start and mini in Fife told me to get it towed to them after I called a couple of times with my problem. So Tim came to get my car, I told him my issue so he took key fob put by the steering wheel and it started right up. No one at Mini had told me to do this! Just get it towed. Tim saved me in many ways, he made my day not having to deal with Mini in Fife. He told to go Battery+ and that's what I needed was just a new $5 battery! Great job,Tim. August 3rd I experienced a flat tire and needed a tow(my car doesn't have an onboard spare). I called the Ford Road Assistance number(a nightmare experience)said 90 minutes, 45 minutes later said cancelled, and someone else would be there in 60 minutes, needless to say a Thurston County sheriff stopped called Summit Towing and 25 minutes later I was in the truck headed to the tire store. Driver was great local guy. I had been waiting 3 1/2 hours in the heat he solved my problem in 30 minutes. thank you very much read more

Summit towing saved me from having to leave my vehicle in a ditch overnight. They showed up within 15 minutes of call charged me a minimum fee to pull my vehicle out of the ditch and had me on my way within 10 minutes. They followed me home to make sure my vehicle was fully operational and I Am very pleased and grateful for their customer service and attentiveness. This evening our car tire called it quits on a busy road in the dark, thanks to Summit Towing we got home safely and quickly. Robert called and said he would be right there to get us, and he was - in less than 20 mins! He made sure we were safe, got our car hooked up and transported us home. I needed to take my car for repairs but when I got in, I found the battery was dead. Further complicating things, the car was garaged. So John to the rescue! John came out last night to pick up our car that wouldn't start. He was very fast getting to us and a really nice guy. Other towing companies quoted 3 hours to get to us, John had us completely towed in an hour and a half. The dispatcher was also very friendly and helpful. Even though it was at night and they were really busy, the price was very reasonable. We will call this company for any future towing needs. read more

Called them to come grab a car. Tried working with them for 3 days. Kept saying I would get a phone call when the tow truck was close but never got a call on 2 separate days when I was avalable all day for pick up. If you didnt want my car why keep telling me you were going to send a truck? Ended up calling another junk yard and they had a truck over in 40 minuets and paid me $40 more than summit would have. read more

Today I got in my car ready to head out of town for the day only to find the low tire pressure warning light on. I had to get gas and while pumping saw Derek and his summit towing truck. I asked him if he'd assist me at the station, but he said to pull right up to his truck and he'd take car of my low tire(s). He was able to add air and I was back on my way. Was stuck on the off ramp towards the Tacoma dome. A long line of cars and the tow truck still came. Tim was wonderful. Hooked my car up and towed it back to olympia . called other tow trucks in Tacoma and was told either don't tow to Olympia or don't work sundays. Came from Olympia and went back too. Used them before.service is always great. Will continue to use whenever I need a tow. read more

This is the second time I have had to use Summit Towing... BOTH times they were present to tow me in under 20 minutes. AND BOTH times my insurance company couldn't get anyone there in under 3.5 hours. I'm not even going to call my insurance company again... just going to call Summit Towing and hope I've got no more accidents or breakdowns! read more
