I feel I must leave a review for anyone who may be thinking of renting from this business. NO! We rented a bouncy water slide for a neighborhood block party. Delivery man, Gabe, was on time and super friendly. He helped us understand how to use it and left his personal cell number in case anything went wrong. The water slide had a small tear when we inflated it (when water hit the tear, bubbles appeared) but we did't think it would be a problem. Kids played, as they do, and not even 1 hour later, the tear opened up to a giant hole. Kids fell in the hole and the bouncer deflated. I called Gabe and he called Heather at the office. She called me and said the only recourse was to send Gabe out to give us another slide but it would be a while. She refused to give a refund and I told her we really didn't want another one as we didn't want to move everything again. She continued to maintain that getting a replacement was our ONLY option and a refund/partial refund was NOT an option. We moved the entire neighborhood into a back yard with a swimming pool, dragging tables, chairs, and awnings to get re-settled. Approximately 2 hours later Gabe showed up with a new water slide but by then the party was ending. We refused the replacement and Gabe was nice enough to take away the defective one and apologize. I never heard from Heather again until I called her today and she said, "We never know when a bouncer is going to rip". What? Excuse me? Still refusing to do anything for me, I was promised to get a call from the owners who are, conveniently out of town til Tuesday. Hmmm...if they resolve this, I can tell all my disgruntled neighbors (who ALL pitched in money for the rental and got only one hour of fun) that this place is ok. If not, we have about 16 families in a nice Chandler neighborhood who will be spreading the word that Jumping Monkey is terrible. We'll see. read more

This company also rents through the name A Perfect Party Rental: The office staff the we spoke with was very nice and worked with our specific situation, a bit of a last minute rental arrangement for our wedding at Eldorado Park in Scottsdale. Unfortunately this was the only highlight of using this company, and the reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. The rest of our experience was unfortunately a troubled one. When I showed up the morning of my wedding around 10:45am, the driver had me sign for receiving all of the equipment, and I made the mistake of trusting his count (as the groom I had other things on my mind, and he did not walk me through the equipment to count it or anything). They were helpful in unloading the chairs and tables, and the white basic rental chairs we got were fine. But later on when our setup crew began setting up tables, 1 round and 1 banquet table were broken, completely unusable. No big deal, we called and they came back out to replace them, saying they would be back with the tables at 1pm. Problem was, they didn't arrive until a few minutes before 2pm, which by the way, was the start time for our event. Then once the tables were set up, we noticed we were short one table, some of our guests were seated at the head table. Then we realized we had not received 7 round tables like we ordered, but at this point, we just had to make it work with what we had. When the driver returned, we explained what happened, but he insisted that he had given us 7 tables and that we were responsible for the "lost table". Later, we get charged $130 for a lost table that we never received, despite receiving 2 broken tables and the 2 replacement tables arriving late. When asked to provide proof that the missing table was a result of our event, they could provide none (no reference numbers on which tables get sent to which event). They just assume the driver made no mistake and that we stole a table. The concept of customer service went quickly out the window, and it became a blame game. Bottom line: Office staff (Karrie?) is nice, the driver was a bit rude, and the company took no responsibility for their mistakes, instead pinning the whole situation on me. Moreover, my email to them after receiving the penalty charge went unanswered. Ridiculous. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! We rented table and chairs from this company- they are NOT organized, don't return calls/emails timely, don't show up on time and then to TOP IT ALL OFF- after you return the items- they called us back and said that 1/2 the table and chairs were damaged with paint and other substances that weren't even at our event!!!! We have hundreds of pictures of our event---which hast people sitting at the tables (which were covered with table clothes) and chairs handing out resource flyers and they claimed they were ruined. The owner/manager doesn't listen just continues to accuse you of ruining her table and chairs....total scam to see if you will pay to replace her things. Then she calls back to apologize- OOPS- "I guess it was someone else". Terrible customer service- don't go through the hassle or worry of dealing with this unprofessional group!!! wow- never experienced such a mess of a business! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They go by many names. ( a perfect party rental is another one) Everything the other review happened to us as well. The bounce house came an hour late to our party ( he blamed us for giving him the wrong address- it was the Scottsdale Train Park, the ONLY one in Scottsdale. He then said he looked it up and the website also gave the wrong address. The bounce house would not entirely blow up and the slide kept falling over. He blamed that on us as well. We supposedly had too many kids in and on the bounce house. There was no more than like 8-10 small kids ranging from 2-7 years old. Some were inside, some were on the ladder to go down the slide, and a couple on the slide. I've been to tons of bounce house parties and never had any issues. We didn't have an abnormal amount of kids. By the time it got set up it properly it was 3pm ( he was supposed to be there at 1pm) he was also 45 minutes late picking it up. We had to sit and wait in a dark parking lot with over tired, crying kids for 45 minutes! He rents out faulty equipment, refuses to take responsibility, and blames the customer. I've never had such bad customer service followed by an owner of a company calling to yell and blame me! He's a total crook! read more

Normally I don't leave reviews, but the level of customer service was incredibly disappointing and not worth the rental. We rented a slide for a charity event for a local children's home. The slide was delivered early, so I only caught the tail end of the setup. The drivers took off with virtually no instruction on how to operate. The event went well, and at the end we turned off the slide and hose. It turns out you are not supposed to turn off the blowers before the hose, and this caused the inside of the inflatable slide to fill with water. They had to call an additional 3 guys to come move the slide out after the rental was over, and charged $225 in extra fees, even knowing this is a charity event! Kim was also incredibly rude on the phone which made the whole experience that much more negative. read more

We rented a "bounce" house slide for a neighborhood party - rental was over $200. The inflatable collapsed after 1 hour of the 8 hour party. Company did not repair or replace it for duration of the party and refused to provide a refund of any amount, only promising a big "discount" on our next rental. Customer service was awful and the product worse. Cannot recommend this company to anyone - would suggest you NOT use them. read more

Don't rent from Jumping Monkeys! We had a horrible experience with this company and the customer service is terrible! Their website has a wide selection of bounce houses but don't be fooled! Hopefully this review will ensure you are informed before you consider making a reservation. David (think he's the owner), will be nice to you when you book your reservation but will be a total jerk when you have a complaint! The bounce house/slide combo we rented kept collapsing so the kids couldn't play in it. I called David during the party and he did not offer any help other than telling us to make sure the air blower was fitting tightly around the hose to the bounce house (which it was). Later on, a couple of kids said that there was a hole at the top of the stairs. So after the party, I called to complain about the bounce house and a separate problem involving a moldy cooler. David called me rude and had the nerve to threaten to charge me for damaging his property! He also acknowledged there was a hole in the house and that there was not enough air pressure to keep the house inflated. He then blamed my house's electrical system for not having enough power to operate the air blower (We live in a 5,000 sq foot home!) and that we probably needed a second blower after the fact. I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior! This company has no concern for the safety of children or satisfaction of the customer. We never got a refund or even a partial refund on the bounce house. read more
