I did get a phone call the day before the party and confirmed the time frame of drop off and set up would be between 12-12:30pm. I paid for a bounce house as well as paid for staff to stay throughout the party to watch the bounce house. The day of the party, no one showed up at the time they would so of course I had to reach out. It was 1pm and the person said his dad is in traffic but would be there soon. He didn't arrive until 2pm and by the time he finished setting up, it was 2:30pm. During the party, he didn't really watch the kids and even had to tell me he needed to leave early to pick up another bounce house that was an hour away. I had to ask the venue to allow him to leave the bounce house until the next day. Luckily, the venue agreed but that shouldn't have been my responsibility. So not only did he arrive late, he also left early. I reached out for a partial refund for the tardiness and early leave for what I paid for staff to stay. I did not get anything back. Such a disappointment. The only plus side was that the bounce house was clean and looked well maintained.

Per the contract, I arrive to pick up the backdrop between 9-11am only to be told it is not at that location. Since my event was later that evening they kindly offered to deliver it to me (no extra charge). However, after multiple calls to voicemail and text messages I was not given a definitive delivery window which added stress to coordinating other errands already planned to get ready for the event. The owner did deliver it to me that afternoon and showed me how to set it up. However, after taking delivery, we unrolled one of the panels and noticed a hole in the greenery. Given that set up for the event started in an hour, we decided to try to patch it best we could with clear tape and move forward. I sent a text of the hole to the company to document the condition of the panel upon delivery. As we continued to set up at the event, the same panel continued to lose greenery - plastic was brittle and falling apart. We continued to patch it to get through the event. The next morning I had planned my day around returning the backdrop within the contracted window of 9 - 11. As I'm about to head out the door I get a text asking if I can come closer to 11 or if they can pick it up from me around 11 as no one would be at the location. Again, I had to rearrange my schedule. The gentleman who picked it up was kind and apologized and when I told him about the faulty panel he was not surprised as it had been improperly stored which was why it was not ready when I originally went to to pick it up. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business based upon my experience.

They were friendly throughout the booking process and delivery + pickup were smooth and on time! If you have kiddos over the age of 1-2, I highly recommend booking the bounce house with a slide! The older kiddos got bored with the castle pretty quickly and it honestly was empty most of the party. That surprised me! Just my two cents. ;) I will definitely be ordering a bounce house from Inflate Forty Eight again!!! And their water slides look super fun too.
