I've been twice and have been pleased each time. They offer a huge assortment of syrup combos- they are written all over the window area- it's slightly overwhelming, but also a sweet coffee lovers dream. My first trip was in the morning and the line was long (about 6 cars) and moved slow. There is limited room for the line to form, so I'm not sure how the line wraps during during peak morning hours (?). My visit during the afternoon was 2 cars deep and quicker. Prices are average. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and open to questions and suggestions. Drive through only.

Jumpin' Java is definitely one of the coffee shops you should visit while you are at the beach. The shop is family-owned and the bakery is made fresh daily (good to support local owners). The inside is small, but comforting. The prices were just about right (ranging from $4-$5) and the service is quick. They also have a drive-through, so if you're feeling lazy (which you will probably be since you're be at the beach), you can get your coffee/milkshakes there. However, I would recommend going inside since the staff were very friendly. I went to this place with my brother and girlfriend and it was great. We order their chocolate chip cookie and it was good, not too sweet. My brother had the chai tea latte and he says he can never go wrong with that. They also have milkshakes which have been good. My girlfriend and I had the mocha. I thought it tasted like a regular mocha although my girlfriend thought hers was too milky. Overall, great experience and would definitely come back again.

Having a Cappuccino with Ccino (pronounced Chino). If this doesnt brighten your day nothing will!

Jumpin Java is the perfect place to meet friends as for a cup of joe or just pop in for a pre work boost. The friendly staff will great you with a smile and Ccino the pup will meet you with a cold nose! One of my favorite cafes in the Brunswick County area. Close to Ocean Isle and Holden Beach. Parking is a breeze and the menu is diverse! Be sure to try out one of their teas too!

The avocado toast, the veggie breakfast burrito, the coffee cake, the smoothies, and the iced black amber are my go to's and they never miss. The service is quick, even though I know they get crazy busy during the summer. As someone who understands service/cafe biz, I will always give leniency to workers who are busting it during high volume seasons. The people who don't understand that a wait will be expected when you have one good coffee shop on an island that hosts thousands of people every summer are dense. Be kinder to your service workers, people. The most recent time I visited Drift, I was excited to try the Acai bowl. After I ordered, I was told that unfortunately they were out of Acai. They refunded my money and I ordered a smoothie instead. I was ready to pay for my smoothie when the employee told me the smoothie was on the house since they were out of Acai. Great customer service. I've been visiting Ocean Isle since there were rinky-dink water slides in operation across from what is now Drift. It's been wonderful to see a successful, quality coffee shop on the island.

Little to no inside seating, most seating available is outside and all orders considered "to-go." The Deets: On a recent trip to Holden Beach, I saw on Yelp there was a local coffee shop on the island there and so I bookmarked it. I walked there to try them out, they are located in a shared space with a local beach rental company near where the bridge road emptied onto the beach island (the coffee part of the signage is small so keep your eyes peeled for it). They open up at 8am, which for an early-riser like me I consider a bit later for a coffee shop even if at a beach vacation area. Getting there as they opened, there was minimal wait but I can see there could be a line if you waited too much more to go there. The shop itself is small and nicely decorated in a charming beach type look. Service was good both at the order counter and pickup window...you order inside at the counter then pick up your coffee beverage outside at a side pick up window (not really any inside seating, there are picnic tables and outside eating areas). My cheese danish tasted good and was pretty light/flaky for a danish, a nice difference as it was not heavy for a breakfast treat. My hot skim latte was OK, which on coffee alone I'd go 3-3.5 stars...I personally like my coffee beverages a bit stronger but again, personal preference. Though I am leaning towards 3.5 stars here, I will go with 4 stars here on shop charm, location, and friendly service.
