Went by the 7Brew Coffee today. It's a drive-through-only outparcel in the Walmart parking lot in Shallotte. I don't drink coffee and my go-to is chai, so I ordered iced chai latte with almond milk. Fairly straightforward. It took almost 7 minutes to prepare it because they have it "pre-mixed with whole milk but any changes to that result in the barista having to make it by hand". So if you're in a hurry, don't deviate from what is offered. The premise of this place is crafted beverages with multiple add-on options for customization so this wait does seem odd. Their chai brand has a strong notes of honey, with less emphasis on spices. The two employees I interacted with were both pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. Very helpful in explaining the process. They also offer smoothies and milkshakes so I might try that next time. read more

Normally I absolutely love 7brew, from the drinks to the vibes. When I went today, however, the service was terrible and the drinks were entirely subpar. First, we were skipped in line for ordering and when we got to the window we were questioned as to why we hadn't ordered - as if we chose not to order. Second, we tried to order dirty sodas. The servers looked confused when we asked for it, but when we clarified what we were asking for (and showed the advertisement flyer) the server nodded and rang us up for three dirty sodas. However, after a few minutes we were handed clear drinks which weren't anything close to a dirty soda (that comes with cola, in case someone reading this doesn't know what that is). When trying to tell them the drinks we received weren't what we were looking for, several workers argued with us. More than likely it is just a franchise difference, with different menus for different stands. I explained that I had had one at a 7brew in Virginia just two days prior - but instead of just explaining this, the workers said we were "victims of AI" and that no 7brew sells them. I understand not selling a certain item, but there was no need to argue or be rude. The drinks we DID get weren't very good, but that is probably just a personal dislike and the fact it wasn't what I was looking for rather than the actual drink being bad. Had a Banana Bread Blondie, fantastic. Crew there are very nice and knowledgeable about the drinks. And if your a Jeep Ducker, drop one off. They have a shelf over the door of ducks. read more

Coffee was strong yet smooth. The flavors were on point not overpowering but the right balance. Great service even though it was extremely busy. The only bad thing is the nearest one to me is 55 miles away when they come closer I'll be a regular. read more

The drinks are lack luster and sickeningly sweet. That is purely preference and I will not hold it against the store. The reason for one store is utterly incompetent employee. I visited with a group of family to get the advertised dirty sodas. I visted from Richmond VA where there were flyers and where I had gotten two drinks I thoroughly enjoyed. I arrived to the Shallotte 7 brew while there were only 4 cars split between two lines. After 10 minutes of waiting for the other cars to be helped. The attendant helped the car behind us first-- as more showed up while I was waiting a whole ten minutes to even order. Finally after being offered drinks I didn't prefer I explained I hadn't ordered. I asked about the dirty sodas and was told that they had them. the person taking our order showed us the previous orders we had made and then I explained I wanted to get one by the name of island dream. We reiterated that we wanted dirty sodas with " the coke and the cream". They assured us they had them. We ordered two and a decaf coffee. i was then asked multiple times about if we also wanted espresso in our decaf coffee multiple times( obviously you wouldnt want espresso in your decaf that's counter intuitive). Nevertheless, I had to change the order to three identical dirty sodas. whole waiting we were attempted to be given 2 different drinks that we most assuredly didn't order--as we ordered three identical drinks. Finally our drinks come and they are the regular clear island dream sodas. we tell them we wanted dirty sodas and the girls working give us a confused and annoyed look. We explain what they are and we show them an official 7 brew flyer that shows the dirty sodas. Instead of explaining the possibility of franchise based differences, initially, the girl bringing us our drinks says in a rude tone that we were " a victim of AI". the girls working were so rude regardless of us being kind, patient, and communicative. The service there is not worth spending money there. the employees need to be spoken to and trained to be more communicative and kind. No one in customer service has any right to be outright rude to anyone even if they were slightly impatient first. we showed up without even having the chance to say anything rude; however, we were met with rudeness and impatience. the drinks we had to be content with were fine, but the awful customer service made me hesitant to ever return. read more

The me first start with I love 7 brew!!! I love the vibe, I love the music and I really love the coffee,but today was the first time I had a very blehhh experience granted it was pack but idk how we get to the front of the line without our order being taken and it takes about 10 minutes for someone to even say hey and finally one of the girls says the person behind us order to us check it's was ours but we did tell the young lady we have yet to order, it did feel unorganized and whoever made the coffee's did mess up our order and by the time we left we were disappointed .... read more
