Civic's Pool Service - Beautiful pool right here in Westchase Fl! Always so nice to take care of our neighbors.

Update: I was contacted and we discussed all my concerns. They were quick to provide some chlorine…read moretablets and ensure that I was happy. I appreciated the communication and kindness! **************************************************** Overall happy because they kept my pool nice and clear. Communication could be much better. One visit, they removed my pool robot-vac and set it aside. The visit log just simply said "vacuum not working". It had just been working the day prior, so I took a look and it had a piece of mulch that caused it to seize up. Removed the debris, and it worked just fine. No big deal. On another visit, we noticed they did not put any chlorine tablets in the floater. It was just empty. A few days before their next visit, I put my own chlorine tablets in the floater. But when they did their weekly visit, I come home to find the floater set aside on the pool deck with NO tablets in it. My brand new tablets I had just put in the floater were just gone. The visit log said, "Need a new chlorine floater" It was an old floater so the "floor" of it fell out (but you could put it back and as long as you gently place it back in the pool, it held the tablets). I called them and left a voicemail describing how my tablets just disappeared because they decided the floater is no good. I said it would be helpful if they would at least leave 2-3 tablets for me so I can put them in a new floater. So that was annoying, and they didn't even call back. Finally, I had been planning to take over pool care on my own, so I later sent an email letting them know. I know they got the message because they didn't come, but it just would be nice to be acknowledged when customers call or email. Again, overall, they kept the pool clear, so I appreciate that much. If I could do half stars, I'd say 3.5 out of 5. Keep in mind that while they empty baskets (including the one at your pool equipment), you (or someone) still needs to clean the filter once in a while. This helps your filter last longer and do a more efficient job.

Called them for service. Uses answering service. They did not call back after 2 days.read more

UPDATE: 5 years post pool- install with this absolute NIGHTMARE of a company. We still deal with…read moreUNEVEN FOUNTAINS because they admitted to skimping out on plumbing and putting our deck jets on one plumbing line with one valve instead of 2, meaning the first fountain closest to the valve gets all the pressure and the second one is very noticeably lower in height because it gets less pressure. Our feet continue to get TORN UP in the pool because they sold us the pebble sheen but put in something MUCH COURSER which destroys everyone's feet. The bottom is SO SO ROUGH! Our concrete continues to be a huge issue and we will eventually have to have it redone or add a French drain because it is SO UNEVEN on one side that rain just sits and creates a complete mess! The roof they put in continues to leak like crazy as it did immediately after completion. People that come over to our home are appalled at the work of this company! I invite anyone and everyone over to see the complete CRAP work of this company! I am shocked they are still in business!

Nancy spent a lot of time assisting with the design, which was complicated at times, but she stuck with us through multiple changes. Despite a slight delay with our paver delivery, the entire construction project moved swiftly. Patio's foremen were here to check on us throughout the process and answer and questions. Once the pool was filled, JP from Carefree spent an hour explaining everything we needed to know about our system and maintenance. We went with Patio because our neighbor recommended the company, and I would recommend Patio to the next family looking to build a pool. Here is a photo of my daughter helping us fill it!

He has some fettish about ordering people around and exactly when 'you will do what'. And I'm not referring to paying on time any normal thing that could be truly legit, objectionable, to a normal owner. Customers are not children and the arrogant attitudes going on with this owner is the oddest thing I've seen in business, in a few decades. And I've worked with many many entities. Its like a chip on the shoulder, or way too many trigger buttons to kindly and peacefully work with the public.

We had visited a local recommended pool supplier about putting in a handrail for our inground pool…read more They said we could not put in a desired stainless steel hand rail since it was not a new installation. We did not like the plastic, cheap looking solutions they offered and the price was very high. We decided to look around and went to Pinch-A-Penny in Lutz, FL for something else but asked if they could help us find what we were looking for. They the exact model we were looking for and said they had an installer. The price was very reasonable so we bought the hand rail and I called Michael's to schedule the install. They quickly gave me a date a few days out. The tech's sent me a text to let me know they were on there way and I had the part ready for them when they arrived. They took the time to listen to my thoughts on the install and they had some very good recommendations on where to install. I was told they would tell me what type of escutcheons to purchase for the install but they had anticipated what I needed and had it with them. This saved me a trip to pick some up. They had to drill two holes in my pool deck and they did a good job limiting the dust and cleaned up after they cemented the handrail in place. While there, they took a look at a pool light issue and were able to quickly determine the problem and took the time to educate me on how the system works. I would not hesitate to call them for any pool issues in the future.
