    Rum Punch

The food is good. The location is nice and spacious. This is where the old Platinum Grille was located, and they did a nice job with the new decor. I ordered a rum punch, and the bartender made it strong, so I had no complaints! The shrimp platter was only supposed to come with 6, and they served us 10! The cheesesteak rolls are just OK. The wrap they use for them is too thick, like a sandwich wrap instead of an egg roll wrap, but the flavor of the filling was on point. I REALLY enjoyed the Mango Habanero wings. The flavor was one of the best I've had, and the broccoli was seasoned very well. I'll definitely be back. Would love to check out a karaoke night.

I love the ambience here! They have something going on almost every night, live bands, open mic, etc. the staff was very nice & pleasant. It was open mic night and the artist were all great. I think the food is a little on the salty side. I would return to see if maybe it was just that night or if other options may fit me better.

Frist time here and I had a nice time. But before I went I looked up the place. To see what the place look like and if they service food. When I went on the website they have a lot of things going on. Julz was in a good location and plenty of FREE parking. They even have Security at the door. The place was really crowded. Not that many places to seat down. So a lot of people was standing up. I went for a birthday celebration. Their was a lot of January birthdays in the place even mine. The staff was very nice they was walking around taking orders so you can get a drink or food. They even have happy hours on Sunday. That is so awesome because I love a good happy hour. And on Sunday it Eagles day and some of the customer had on their Eagles gear. And win they mad a touch down everyone was screaming and singing the E* A*G*l*E*S song. Even the d j was even playing the song it. The place was really jump the dj was playing the right music. Standing or seating down you was dancing. I forgot to tell you about the food. I ordered a vegetarian stuff roll. The roll head broccoli, spinach, red, and green peppers wrapped with a side of fries. When I tell you is was so good wrap. I never had any thing like it. Baby the fries was also good they didn't even last I was eating them in my car. But someone in the back was a little heavy handed on the salt. The only thing my wrap could've use was some cheese and a good dipping sauce. It did come with a dipping sauce and Ketchup. I didn't care for the dipping sauce because it was made with mayonnaise. You should have a choice of a dipping sauces. The wrap was packed with a lot of vegetables about it was enough fries. It would have been nicer if it was too rolls with fries for the price. I believe the price was $12.00 or $14.00. They even ubereats, doordash and other ones. The place was nice and clean. I didn't give to the restroom. After the part was over the staff cleaned of the tables ti get ready for the next day. I'm definitely coming back on another day probably on ladies night.

Go go and go again. Nice size dance floor with welcoming staff. This is definitely a local joint with daily events and specials. The food was ooooonnnn point! Mango habanero wings, yum. THE GREENS!!! Order the greens and thank me later. No pork products and well seasoned and frigging delicious. The regular buff wings amazing, the fries yum yum. The cornbread was like the sticky cake style and the yams were ok. Nothing special about the yams but delicious, like i make! I'd try any of their sides cause if you can do greens like THAT you can do it all. The drinks were tasty. They do have the regulators on the bottles so just get a double. They are not that expensive. We will return. It is in the cut! You wouldn't know this spot existed in CHESTNUT HILL. DJ was on POINT for a Friday night old school jam. Every other person knew every other song. Come in pimpin you might find ya mate there. They def looking and the dance floor is big enough to showcase ya skills with surrounding TVs of sports. If you don't know, now you know

Came here for my Sisters birthday party and had an amazing time. The food was excellent and the atmosphere is great. It's nice to go to a place where you can enjoy great food, music, drink and have a good time without all of the drama sometimes associated with clubs. The staff were very attentive and I will be definitely going back. The crowd of is of older mature adults which I really enjoy!

Brand new "gem" of a restaurant in the Germantown section of Philly! It's been open roughly 2…read moremonths now and gives upscale downtown fine dining vibes! A huge plus is you don't have to pay for parking. They have a parking lot but if it's packed you can find a spot on the street to park. Not ideal for large parties, I'd suggest no more than six (6) guests and book your reservation well in advance. It's a small quaint place and the food is very good. It's tapas style. Small plates meant to be shared. This way you can to try a variety of food when each person orders maybe 2 plates or more depending on your appetite. Don't go too wild with ordering too much though as some might find their food palette overwhelmed by the varieties and textures. Self-awareness is key! They have a nice selection of dinner entrees, well seasoned and vegan/vegetarian options. The menu changes every few weeks. My favorite were the lamb ribs! Better get them while they last since the menu changes. If you like spicy (hot) noodles the Rad Noodles might be your jam (shrimp, coconut red curry, thai basil). It was too spicy for me but i'm a baby when it comes to spice. I also thought the noodles were too cumbersome...They were cool looking just a little weird on trying to figure out logistics of getting them in your mouth. Slurp them? Cut them? Twirl? Our service was superb! Our waiter Doug was knowledgeable and he was hospitable in offering the best possible dining experience. In between meals he offered us Oshibori which are Japanese warm towelettes used to clean or refresh your hands. This really enhanced my experience and added to the warm welcome setting. Desserts are delicious but depending on what you get you might find it small and not worth the money. I think this will vary depending on what you get or just you as a person. I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie baked in a clay dish and served with a dollop of ice cream. It was reminiscent of a brownie almost and was cooked with brown sugar butter crumbs..it was really an elevated way of presenting and indulging in a common fan favorite. Drinks are good quality and reasonably priced. Drinks can be strong but you get what you pay for! Nice selection of beers. If there's a wine you'd like to try before purchasing they allow you to sample.

I so badly wanted this to be good. It just wasn't…read more We were greeted wonderfully at the door. I would go as far as to call the host a Maitre d' they were an excellent first encounter for the establishment. Service was fine. The staff are pros and they are my comrades. Decor and ambience was decent. But the food. Not fine. Why? WHY? Why won't something actually decent open up in this neighborhood??? It is one of the most mediocre food pockets in Philly. There isn't anything in Mount Airy that is actually good. Please prove me wrong I'm desperate for a great meal. (15 year NYC hotel concierge my job was basically to eat fancy dinners) We went for a birthday do over for my gf since our dog had surgery last month for her actual birthday -- we were really excited. Then really disappointed. We ordered two cocktails. One seemed to be left over from Christmas with those spices, like a hot toddy but with tequila. Weird for May/spring. The other cocktail was decent. We ordered a bottle of wine. The wine would end up being the best flavor and value of the night. We heard so much about these ribs. They're just ok. Mostly fat tbh. My gf enjoyed it but I make better lamb than this. Sweet potato tostones. Ok. The dip that came with it was the best thing we ate all night. The fucking dip. Fluke crudo. Fishy. Barely just ok. Duck. The duck was perfectly cooked, no problem there. But the flavors on the dish were bizarre. Like they just poured orange juice over it. Clams with bucatini. One of the most bizarre executions of a classic dish. None of the flavors made any sense together. I could not finish it. Our server was apologetic and offered to bring something else but by that point we're just ready to go somewhere else. Did not even take it to go. Still got charged for it. Nice! $250 to leave hungry and disappointed. We went to Bar Lizette down the street which might be the only slightly above mediocre food around here. How are you going to put a plate down that gets two bites and still charge a poor bastard for it? LOL. Swing and a miss here. If anyone in this area can sincerely recommend a great restaurant around here, PLEASE let me know. If you open a great restaurant near here all my money can be your money.
