Julius was under contract to perform culvert replacement and asphalt repair on our private lane in 2024. This work could have had potentially future work in years to come. Month after month, the work was never performed, even though our community was very flexible and undemanding. At no time did Julius have the common courtesy of simply telling us that he would never do the contracted work. We lost the entirety of 2024 waiting. The repair crew did a great job fixing the two spots needed in my driveway but the crack and seal job is terrible.There are places still pulling up all over the driveway.They say that raining right after the crack and seal had nothing to do with it.......BS........They also said I didn't need a second seal.....my driveway is old and MOST definately needs it........ You screwed this one up Howell............................ you should be ashamed....... Contacted Howe to have my driveway, almost a quarter mile long, crack filled and sealed last year. They sent a crew of two out to do the job. When it was finished it looked good for a few months. Gradually the rain began to wash the sealer and filler away. I contacted Howe, via email at the end of the season and they called me to explained that it was probably too late to get it resolved before winter but they would make sure to schedule it next year. I have sent numerous emails, along with my original email, but have not received any response. I had used them in the past and was pleased with the work however I do not believe that the men who they sent this time were employees. I believe they were sub contractors. If you decide to use them, I suggest you have it put in writing that it will be their employees. P.S. It is now May and almost all of the work has washed away. read more

Had new driveway overlay done two weeks ago. Could not be more happy with the process with Julius Howe Asphalt. He was the only contractor we talked with who was willing to meet with us at our home to discus the project. He gave us the most detailed quote and made sure we understood the work he was proposing. He was also very patient and willing to answer all of our questions. Once we decided, the work was scheduled and completed very quickly. read more
