Whatever tariffs are doing to them they are certainly recouping via price gouging. Delivery Thursday and everything was dead and dried out when we returned to office Monday. The calla lily blooms melted at the top of the stem and hit the table. Completely rotted. Dahlias and roses were shriveled with drooping heads. i believe they were frozen before being arranged whether or not their fault. Even before delivery based on the photo they sent in advance i voiced concerns on how minimal it was. Tax delivery and gratuity was $85.95. I have never been more disappointed in sending an arrangement and the recipient thinking they came from a supermarket. read more

I recently sent my mother flowers for her birthday and they came out so GORGEOUS! I was worried that I wouldn't get her flowers on time as I live far away from here but when I called them up they were so kind, helpful and even did same day delivery. My mom can be kinda picky too so I requested a pic before it was sent and they delivered every step of the way. Unfortunately, I had to reach out to this florist because a Friend's Mother passed away unexpectedly and her viewing was at a local church in the neighborhood. I Googled local florists and Julia Testa came right up and I gave her a call. I dont know anything about flowers...I dont know what type I wanted or arrangement style etc etc. She told me not to worry and that she would put together something nice for my budget and even delivered it to the church the next day! The delivery was on point and saved me so much head ache and time as it was one less thing to worry about on that sad day. I ordered a gorgeous arrangement to be sent to the hotel where my daughter was hosting her bachelorette weekend in NCY. The arrangement that arrived was nothing in comparison to the sample online. When I called to complain, she said that the photo I sent her only showed one angle and if I looked at all sides I'd see that yes, they had to make substitutions but the value of stems was the same as in the picture from which I ordered. She gave me a 25% refund. When I asked the girls for more photos, it became very clear to me that there is not a chance the value was comparable nor was the display similar. I sent more pictures to Isabel at the store on Friday, asking for a further discount and have not heard back. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. Unreliable, late, disorganized, unprofessional, did not communicate and ruined my birthday. My mom ordered a flower delivery to arrive between 9AM-12PM in Brooklyn and I stayed home all morning to wait for them (although I didn't know what the "delivery" would be). At 11:30AM she called to check on timing and was told they were running late and given a bunch of excuses, primarily that the driver made a mistake by going to Manhattan before Brooklyn and that there was traffic. No one took the initiative to call and let us know they were running late. Instead I wasted my whole birthday morning waiting for flowers that never arrived. This was of course supposed to be a surprise, but my mom ended up sharing the details with me (through tears) so that I didn't continue waiting. She felt extremely guilty and disappointed that her birthday message never made it, and I am livid that her kind gesture was ruined by this incompetent company. It doesn't matter how pretty the flowers are if they never get delivered, and it is absurd that they didn't simply call to let us know of the delay. I really need to plan things better in my life. I'm time-starved, last-minute, and often making things happen just in the nick of time. Fortunately, there are people like Julia and Chantelle who can make magic happen and save the situation at the last minute! Upon the referral of a friend who lives a few blocks away from Julia's store, I rang the store and got her straightaway. I needed a bouquet of flowers for my goddaughter who was going to be graduating Pre-K later that afternoon. At 4, she'd never gotten flowers, and I wanted them to be as lovely as she is. I could hear Julia break into a smile at the description of my need and we discussed favourite colours, the arrangement, and even how tall my goddaughter is so I don't give her a bouquet bigger than she is. After taking my credit card information over the phone, we arranged for me to stop at the store in an hour. Knowing the area, I was aware that finding street parking was going to be a breeze - another plus. A little over one hour later, I'm at Julia's store and the bouquet is gorgeous. Pink, purple, and tied with a bow. When I tell her that the flowers are going to be in the car with me for another 2 hours or so, she gets a little concerned and suggests a vase with a box around the base for only a few dollars more. It's perfect - absolutely perfect. From other reviews around the web, I see that Julia has built a very well-regarded business around her services for weddings and large business contracts. I'm humbled and deeply appreciative that she and Chantelle made the time to craft such a small order on so little notice and put a very visible degree of love and care into the effort. Have in the past year received very large and i assume expensive arrangements. Upon arrival they are truly magnificent . BUT the very next day they look tired and beginning to look bad. By the third day they are gone. I had to the worst experience with Julia Testa. I forgot to pick up a donated order along with the paid order, and I offered compensation, and Julia was harsh and disrespectful. She refused to give me a receipt for my paid order. She started to lectured me about how ungrateful I was when I offered to compensate her for the inconvenience. I felt disrespected. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FLORIST. She needs to have a training on how to deal with customers even under unusual circumstances. My neglect was not done intentionally. It was just an oversight. When I ordered flowers for my daughter's Birthday, I called and & spoke with Julia herself and Shontell at two separate occasions and requested to replace yellow flowers in the arrangement with any other color. When my daughter texted me a picture of the arrangement, there was the biggest yellow flower I've ever seen smack in the middle of the arrangement. I had a terrible experience with Julia Testa. First of all, they never sent pictures for approval. Then they delivered to the wrong floor and were signed for by someone other than who the order was made out to. It took us nearly an hour to track them down. We expressed several times that the flowers were needed for a high-profile, luxury client meeting and we received white flowers with brown edges and blemishes. Clearly old flowers. When I called, I spoke to the designer and she said that she would send new flowers over. Fine - not ideal but it was a solution to the problem, but then Julia Testa called me herself and lectured me that "flowers come from the earth" and "that they're living" so they will brown. Unacceptable. She told me she was giving me more flowers than we paid for, which is something I never asked her to do. She then threatened to sue me for not paying even though the check was in the mail already. I never said I wouldn't pay her. Finally she hung up on me. I've never been disrespected like that by a vendor in my experience - and I've worked with hundreds of vendors. When she spoke to my boss, she finally agreed to send replacement tulips - flowers far inferior to the expensive anemones that were browned. This is unfortunate because she clearly has talent in arranging the flowers, but her attitude and lack of professionalism and customer service experience has made me never want to use her again.
