She is incredibly experienced and intuitive about light and color and is very warm, welcoming and fun to work with. She helped me choose wardrobe from the things I had brought, chose complementary backgrounds and directed me expertly for the most flattering shots. After the shoot she quickly pared down the shots to a few dozen which we went through together in order to find the final three. The entire process was smooth and easy and under an hour total. Within just a couple days she had gently edited the photos and emailed me a download link. Super simple and quick! Very natural and very 'us'. I hadn't had any professional photos since then though, because #1, I'm terrible at planning and prioritizing things like that (esp without a major reason/event, like a wedding), and 2, it didn't seem like it was really within my budget right now. However, being on her mailing list all this time I saw that she sometimes offers mini sessions and I finally took the plunge over the holidays with my 4 year old.
