I have loved Jules Thin Crust since I first went there about 10ish years ago. Their pizza is AMAZING! I know when ordering my eyes are always bigger than my stomach. It's hard to decide but you cannot go wrong with any choice you make. The staff is nice, patient, and helpful. You can sit inside or outside and they have carts for water, napkins, and toppings like garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and (I want to say) Italian (not sure). Oh my goodness. I have never, ever, ever, EVER had better pizza than this one. It is SO GOOD!!!! The flavors practically melt on your tongue... This pizza is such good quality, and the best I've ever had. Not to mention, the people working there are always very polite! They always treat others with respect. The mood there is also very chill, as there are outdoor options for sitting! A great idea if you like being outside with nature while enjoying a high-quality meal. Annalise handled this situation with such grace and maturity and showed gratitude for my bringing this to her attention rather than dissatisfaction by my negative review. Due to this I immediately deleted my review, not because I was asked to, but because of the way this was handled. The thin crust pizza here is delicious. There is such a variety to choose from. There had to be at least 20 different types of thin crust pizza to choose from. Staff was very friendly & helpful in explaining and helping us to make a decision selecting. Prices were good. I got the new "Cowboy" slice that had like a little Mexican flare to it. Also the asparagus & lemon. Never had anything like that. It was awesome! My wife just went plain. She also loved her slices. You can order by slices, or a small pie if you don't want the whole big pie. The slices are great because you can mix all the different flavors that you want to try. I need to preface this post by saying I love this place and have been bringing my family here for years. The pizza is unusual, creative and delicious. However... one thing we've noticed in the last year or two is that the staff no longer make any attempt to identify the customer and connect them with the pizza they've purchased. In prior years, pizza I purchased (sometimes 6 or 8 slices) would be handed to me directly. The person behind the counter knew what I'd ordered and handed it to me. Sometimes - they'd very nicely say, "go ahead and sit down. We will bring it to you". That's gone unfortunately. You order. The slices go into the oven and then are put on the wooden trays and (sometimes) randomly placed out onto the counter. An unhelpful shout of "slices!" by the pizza preparer is particularly irritating. My order was mixed in with the party next to mine in line. Maybe it's asking too much to ask that my order be presented directly to me or keep the order together and not interspersed with others. Anyway. I love the pizza. It's fabulous. I deduct a star for the above behavior. If I here "slices!" again, I may deduct another star. read more

I've heard about Jules about 500 times since I moved to the area and I finally got the chance to stop by last week. It's not a typical pizzeria in either look or menu, but what they serve is delicious and of course that's the most important thing. The selection is huge too! They probably had about 20 selections ready to go, ranging from regular cheese pizza to more out of the box stuff like brisket and horseradish. Staff was friendly and took care of us without any problems. While the interior has limited seating space, there's plenty of outdoor seating and tables with umbrellas, which is a nice feature if you're coming with a few people on a pleasant day. I ordered over $146 of pizza over the telephone from Jules Thin Crust in Newtown, PA for a gathering I was having, as I was super impressed with the pictures on the menu and I wanted to serve something different. When we went to pickup the order, there were no other diners in the restaurant, so not a busy time for this location. The pizzas were the worst to say the least. The pizzas were missing items on top that usually come with that pizza, and the other was missing an item I requested and paid extra for (I received a voicemail from the young girl who took my order and she proceeded to tell me that they did put the item I requested and paid extra for - it was probably underneath all the other toppings - nothing about the horrible quality, etc.) The pizzas were tasteless, the crust was mushy and the toppings (what there were of them) were huge chunks - I was a bit embarrassed to serve them, but I always say, it's about the company (I wish I would have taken pictures for my review). We had two (2) whole pizzas leftover and nobody wanted to take them home - they ended up in the trash still in their boxes. I spoke with three (3) guests from my gathering over the next two (2) days and they reluctantly told me that they had either gotten sick that evening, or had the runs the next day - I was mortified! We used to frequently go to Jules, but hadn't for a while - now I know why. Not only has the quality fell to a horrible level, but it also appears that the ingredients are not fresh and may cause illness. What happened? read more

Super fast and tasty lunch option in the middle of Princeton! The pricing and selections can be a bit confusing, so be sure to clarify with the people behind the counter (they were all super helpful with my order). I got one of the veggie pizzas with artichoke, fresh basil, and tomato, and it was delicious! If you're debating between getting one or two slices, however, always go for more; it was fresh and delicious, but not too filling. It was thankfully super fast though, as they take your order and heat it up while you wait in line to pay - and there's almost no delay between paying and getting your food! I will say that this doesn't really count as pizza - more like a flatbread, and a lot of the choices have a unique variety of vegetables and meats. We have been going to Jules for years because 2 of my kids have celiac disease and need uncontaminated, gluten free food. First, I would like to say Jules has delicious, safe gluten free food for my kids and it has made a huge difference in our lives. There are not many places that I can find a quick, safe meal (that actually tastes good!) for them when needed. I also had an issue with wait times for a few pick ups and it was handled well above my expectations. Customer service is obviously a priority for them and I am happy to support a business that wants to make their customers happy! I wish all businesses were run like this! read more

I ate here the other night while I'm the area. I arrived around 4 pm on Friday. I was hoping to get there before the rush but I didn't. The place was mobbed. They have an enormous selection of slices. We opted for a medium pie, We ordered a margarita. We waited a while, over 30 minutes for the pizza. At first glance the pizza looked sloppy. The cheese was all over! The crust is extremely thin (hence the name). I did enjoy the crust and dough, I was surprised. The basil was so so, it was a lot for my liking. The sauce was just okay. It was a bit too chunky for me. I did like that fact it wasn't overly sweet. I may stop back in and try some slices. 3 stars read more

Love the location in the heart of Newtown, and very happy they appear to be doing well. However, this variably topped flatbread is just not pizza. Many love it and are fans or more. I have eaten there a dozen or more times and find it curious, interesting, and mostly satisfying as a healthy alternative meal. Still, when I want real pizza I do not think of Jules. It does not satisfy me the way a true tomato pie does. It lacks the cultural affect, the aroma, the bite and crunch, and finally, the taste of traditional Italian pizza. The unique topping combinations Jules offers range from complex combinations of greens to the simple basil, fresh mozzarella, and tomato. Everything tastes outstanding, and the high quality cheeses and toppings really enhance every slice. The crust itself is made with organic wheat and can be whole wheat or gluten free, if desired. All the pizzas are based on a paper-thin, crisp crust that has a nice snap and to it, with a little char around the edges to round everything out. Pies are light on cheese, so the pizza doesn't weigh you down and isn't greasy whatsoever. Everything sounds great right? But all these high quality, local, and organic options come at a price. Expect to pay $2-4 dollars per slice. Furthermore, if you inhale the stuff like I do, you'll need 2-3 slices to be satisfied. You can spend up to $10 to feed one person, thus, due to such high prices, Jules gets a star knocked off. But eating at Jules can be worth the high price, especially if you're open to trying some of the more interesting topping combinations. I love this place so much! They're incredibly kind and caring. The people who work there want you to enjoy the food and they never disappoint. They have accommodations and substitutions for dairy and gluten allergies. They also recently added meat substitutes on their menu! Really amazing place. Today they realized that one of the pies had parmigiana cheese in the bruschetta marinade after we ordered and so they made one of their older bruschetta pies for us to eat that did not contain the marinade! While ordering, I watched one of your staff sneeze, rub her nose several times, and not step off to wash her hands. If that wasn't bad enough, when I mentioned this to the female manger on duty, she did nothing. I told her which employee it was (the one in the red shirt), to which she replied "I didn't see that". Suggesting I was lying to her. When a customer points out your team needs to go wash their hands, then wash their hands! We love this place! Definitely a good addition to the neighborhood. I love all the pizza variety they offer, from the healthier ones al the way to their plain with pepperoni. It is a bit on the pricier side compared to other pizzas around granted all the others are considered just your garden variety Italian pizza place. Jules pizza is absolutely amazing. Every time I visit my boyfriend's hometown I make it a priority to go here. It is extremely thin, loaded with toppings and always fresh. It reminds me of an ice cream parlor where you look down the line to see which flavor to get - that is how they present their pizza. They cut the slices in a rather small rectangle which I like because I can try a few without feeling like I'm pigging out.
