Recently my 2009 X5 finally gave up on me with about 260k miles. He even offered to help me find another X5. Now, that is not your typical repair place! They go over and beyond the normal expectations, even for a hard to please client like me. I finally found a replacement x5 but diesel version and I will trust no one but them to service this replacement vehicle. If you drive an Audi, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, VW, Ferrari or any other European car, this is the only place you should be taking your car for repair, maintenance or service. They are the best! I stand by these guys! The owner is also a beast when it comes to repairs. He has no problem rolling his sleeves up to jump in and help when the guys get slammed! I witnessed this when both of my headlight assemblies needed to be replaced due to faulty wiring (vehicle age related) which included bumper removal. The services my car needed were priced very fairly, and I didn't feel taken advantage of. That part is especially important to me as a woman who has been overcharged for unnecessary services in the past - you won't have to learn that hard lesson here! I have limited knowledge about cars (and LOTS of questions as a result), and Michael took care to address each one of them. He was patient, thoughtful, and so welcoming! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!! Shady to the max!!…read more Instant Car Fix is an absolute joke. Paid for parts and labor that was never received. Paid for a battery and both the positive and negative cables, because I was in another state. The mechanic only replaced the battery and I was charged the $559 for the cables ( Battery was $350 alone, extremely overpriced) . It's is soooooo incredibly clear that in the mechanic's pictures that those cables weren't replaced, even the guy I talked to from Instant Car Fix after the job was done had agreed. I was then told that manger's do not issue refunds, when I ask to speak to who handles refunds, they tell me that, "They don't do that"... I have to email them. I can't speak to who handles refunds.. I'M SORRY, THAT SOUNDS EXTREMELY SHADY . I called multiple times and same story. This company is nothing but a scummy middle person between customers and mechanics. They force you to pre pay parts, which seems like a horrible business model for automotive repairs. Their website is full of bogus nonsense reviews. I wish I never found this company, I will never understand why this company was the number one google hit for "mobile mechanics". No customer should have to pay for a service that doesn't resolve the problem or be left stranded after being told their vehicle is fixed. Companies must be held accountable for the quality of the work performed by the contractors they send. This experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and unacceptable. Consumers deserve honesty, competent repairs, and accountability not false assurances that leave them in an even worse situation.
