For the first 5 years of living in atlanta, I took my classic mercedes here until they finally told me their classic car guy was leaving and they wouldn't touch my car going forward. Frankly, they did 5 years of changing my oil and nothing else but they'd charge me for what they called "regular maintenance". Regular maintenance on a classic car should include a lot more than just topping up the oil and calling it a day, but every time I'd mention knocking noises or brake issues or anything else to them, they wouldn't address it at all so I had no idea if they thought it was an issue or didn't. Finally 5 years later, thank god their classic car guy left, because I took it over to a place in Decatur and all of the things I had been worried about, they found a reason, they gave me a full breakdown online of what they recommended and why, they answered all of my questions, and I could pay the invoice online and feel good about it. Update: As of 9:30 p.m., Jacob, the owner, repeatedly called and texted me after my review. He first falsely claimed I'd only visited once four years ago, then offered to pay me, which I refused. After that, he pulled up what he claimed were years of invoices that were not real, despite the fact that I have the original receipts for my own transactions. Even after I repeatedly told him to stop contacting me, he continued until I had to block his number. Based on both my experience and his behavior afterward, I would never recommend this business.

How does a shop perform a diagnostic for noise, wobbling, and vibration and completely miss a major driveline issue? I spent thousands of dollars based on their diagnosis, the actual problem was never fixed, and now I'm expected to spend thousands more for something that should have been identified the first time. I sent an email and left information and what had happened with it just hoping that they could possibly get to it the next day, which was a Friday, so I could drive back to SC that evening. Knew it was a long shot but Brett and team (Forry and Chris) squeezed it in, found the issue (fan wasn't working), got the OEM part in before ordering cutoff and got it fixed by the end of the day so I could drive back home that evening. From when Brett initially called me in the morning, his attention to the details I provided in describing all the symptoms and events, to diagnosis, quickly ordering the part in and getting it worked in. I found out their hours and went to stand in line on a Tuesday morning before they opened. I was second in line at 7:30. By 7:55 there were 12-15 people in line behind me. They took my keys and information and said they'd call when they had an idea of what was wrong. I stopped by at 4:30pm that day and they said they were about to call me. There was an issue with the cv axels in my car. They didn't even charge me to look at the car (YMMV there). They said they'd figure out a quote to do the repair but that the car was mine to take right then since I was on foot. They texted the next day saying that the car needed cv axels on both sides and they gave me a price out the door. I said to go ahead and order the parts. I was in line again the next day. This time I was first in line and by the time they opened there were about 10 people behind me. Moral of the story here - Tuesdays are busy because that's their first open day of the week. By 11am that day, my car was fixed. They charged exactly the quoted amount and I haven't had any issues since. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area. As long as you're ok with a "stand in line" type of situation instead of making a reservation, this is easily the best/most honest mechanic in the area.
