Cool, retro burger joint where you can have a burger and milkshake ! Tried the smaller burger which was filling for me with the side of fries and strawberry milkshake!

A M B I A N C E 50's style dinner, perfect for great Instagram pictures of the food, milkshakes and decor! They actually have a jukebox where you can pick which songs you'd like to hear next! Has outdoor terrace in the summertime! Great for groups!! Music is always playing, the neon lights are great! TVs are always on for the sport games! A great place to grab lunch, dinner or a late night snack! C L E A N L I N E S S Very clean! O V E R A L L Q U A L I T Y LOVE the burgers here! Personally my favourite is "The Rocket", but they often have unique and special burgers! Ask about them! You need to try them all! They make a mean "Chilli Mac n' Cheese" as well! Their poutine sauce is great and comes out hot! The fries are warm and not too soft! Perfect for a poutine! C O S T Depends what you order honestly. It is on the pricier side because the burgers are MASSIVE! Trust me, you won't be hungry after this! W A I T T I M E S Once you order this restaurant is very quick to deliver! If the place is busy, it might be hard to track down your waiter, but they're coming! P A R K I N G Parking lot outside, shared with Marché de l'Ouest! L O C A T I O N Located in Dollard-des-Ormeaux in the Marché de l'Ouest. H E L P F U L S T A F F The staff here is great! P R O T I P Get a milkshake with your burger! They go together so perfectly! They also serve them spiked! Give that a try!

I've been living in west island for soo long and only discovered this place recently. Gotta love the lively retro decor and they got a jukebox at the entrance! The 1/2 lb burger is awsome! A delicous 1/2 lb of beef patty! The bun i choose was the pretzel bun which complement the beef quite well. Althought the burger + fries came at 18$ but it was quite a massive portion and I was 100% full. Overall a vibrant place to come as family or friends, and the staffs are super nice. Awsome service and awsome burger!

Enormous portions of food and decent price. This is not the kind of place you'll come to every day, because the portions are so big and filling you'll feel bad going there every day, your diet will not like it. The burgers, the milkshakes and the macaroni and cheese are what most people take but they've got a whole menu of various types of food for anyone. The ambiance and decor makes you travel back in time and relive an unique era. Just like the name of the place says, they have a jukebox machine which you can use to select a song. Grab some friends and enjoy yourself a nice big meal.

I had saved this place on my favourites. I finally was in the area. I read some reviews and played safe. Dean burger with poutine. The burger was a good size. I went with Monteray cheese and brioche bun. The meat was dry. So I added mayo. The poutine was fine. The cheese seemed fresh but the fries seemed a little undercooked. The potato still resisted. The gravy is a traditional one salty and savoury. Overall it was fine. Maybe I should have ordered something else

This retro diner decked out 50s style Is expensive as hell but oh so worthwhile! The quality and portion justify the price With so many options that are sure to entice We were lucky to not have to wait in line And we had a cozy booth for our party to dine Tasso and the Jukebox team were simply impeccable How they handled that blackout was nothing short of respectable Dylan Stanley, a busboy, remember that name This kid and his voice are destined for fame! He sang Hallelujah in true a cappella His voice gave me shivers, such an amazing fella The burgers were creative and incredibly huge On my list of "Best Burgers" they're now number two! The beef tasted fresh and cooked to perfection Custom buns, patties and sides to your own confection The french fries were crispy and packed to the brim Too sweet for my liking, next time ill try the poutine To top it all off I ordered a rootbeer float That came in a mug that was as big as a boat! The actual jukebox was a very nice touch But the kids in the joint played more modern stuff A diner with prices like this usually takes me aback But they do everything so well I hafta cut them some slack Such an amazing experience to share with friends I'm definitely coming back here and do recommend!! ------------ Installment 28 poetry reviews Freaking love this place! Do expect to pay about 30$ per person to eat here, maybe more if you're an "eyes bigger than your stomach" kinda person. I don't think diner food ever needs to be this expensive...but i get it, so i will be back, but I hafta dock a star. These burgers just landed themselves in spot #2 on my Best Burgers list, 2nd only to Woodlands, imho. Wish that the jukebox didn't have the option to play modern songs because it was awesome listening to the good ol oldies that did play while we were there. There's lotsa teens that hang out here and kinda monopoloze the jukebox but still an awesome vibe. A huge thank you to Tasso our awesome waiter who just totally made the night perfect. 5 stars to him!

Poutine Mac & Cheeze! Avant

Yesterday before the storm was my second visit to this foodie heaven with the blissfulness of the 1950's. Oh my god! Mac n Cheez, frites délicieuses, onion rings, poutine etc... Then, you have a taste for the american south west? No problem try like me (see picture) the great Chicken Waffle sandwich Southern Confort! Sweet & Sour! I had mine with a Mac & Cheeze Poutine! Cherry coke? Here, you get the real deal from the fifties: A large glass of coca-cola where they poor in with marascin cherry sirop!! Miam! If after you bugers, chickens & all salty greasy goodness you're still hungry. Pas de problème! You could have a sink of ice " scream " lol to share with your friends et si vous commander un milkshake vous avez votre verre plus le stanless steel content with all the rest! This is amazingly what I call tu es servi comme une reine et un roi ici et tu en as pour ton argent. Parlant service! Excellent service, courtois, attentionné! C'est incroyable quand tu penses que c'est toujours plein, avec file d'attente et que ton serveur et ses aids sont toujours attentionnés pour ta gang! By the way hi-5 to Taso tonight Friday 21st September with this blackout following the Gatineau tornado! The way he handle the close & payment was amazing! He even took I nice picture of our group in the dark that Kandi posted. The server is helped by whom I call runners & your food come fresh & warm very soon after you order! This too is amazing & you don't feel rush even if they rush! Very awesome experience! We even have a covert of Leonard Cohen Hallelujah by a very interesting gentleman that work there! Missed his name... Maybe my friends do? And finally: it's a must go west island & at all if you are hungry & like my stepdaughter you like the 1950's oldies sounds & food! Cheers!

The actual jukebox

Sometimes circumstances take you out to neighbourhoods that you don't usually visit. One Friday night I found myself in the West Island to meet some friends who live in the area for dinner. It was the perfect opportunity to try a restaurant that had long been in my bookmarks: Jukebox Burger. The restaurant is modeled after a 1950s diner and does indeed contain an actual jukebox. I have a soft spot for these kinds of places so I really liked the ambiance. If you come here you come for the burgers and they do a good job of catering to different dietary restrictions. They offer vegetarian and gluten-free options. The way it works is that you choose one of the burgers from the menu and then you customize it by choosing the type of bun, side and patty. I went for a Rocket burger which was basically just a bacon cheese burger. The plate was humongous and I was certainly full by the time I was done. The burger was pretty good but the beef could have been juicier. The fries that accompanied it were also a little disappointing. They were a tad overcooked. They have a really good milkshake selection here and since it had been so long since I had one I went for a Baileys milkshake. It went down very smoothly and definitely satisfied my craving for one. I also tried a mouthful of my friend's strawberry milkshake which was quite tasty. During prime dining hours you can expect a bit of a wait for a table but they do a good job of handling the crowds. Once seated everything comes pretty quickly. The prices are also fairly reasonable. Burgers run anywhere from $15 - $20 and you do get a lot of food for that price. A meal at Jukebox Burger is definitely a fun experience. If you are looking for a 50s diner experience than look no further than this restaurant. If you're in the area then it is worth visiting.

Poutine, Mac n cheese, burger

Amazing food. Lovely service. The only thing is the poutine is too salty. I asked the waiter and they offered to give me something else in exchange for free. I got onion rings and they were delicious! Thank you, Jukebox!

Like many others, I visited Jukebox Burgers after seeing them on the Food Network. I thought what a fun looking diner, can't believe it's not in the USA! It lived up to expectations. I felt transported to a different time and location upon entering the restaurant. I love the old timey classic decor, music, dairy bar and comfort food. Don't be scared by the long lines, it gets packed on weekends but we didn't have to wait more than ten minutes and we were a group of 5. Service is pretty fast. I've been twice in two weeks with a group of people and we all enjoyed our meals. For starters, the wings are jumbo sized with a tangy homemade sauce that truly tastes homemade. The chili nachos were the cheesiest and meatiest I've ever had - plus they serve guacamole at no extra charge. Burgers are a towering, super sized deluxe creation, and my favorite- the mac and cheese is creamy and filling. I've tried the philly steak mac and cheese as well as the Mexican style which has lots of ground beef, beans and a hearty sauce on top of your classic cheesy goodness. You just can't go wrong. There are so many options and ways to customize, build your own burger and choose from a variety of sides. Pair that with a custom milkshake or a cherry cola float served in a giant 1liter glass, it's a meal to remember. I went all out, and was so full I couldn't find room for dessert but if you're going as a group and want ice cream they offer this mega platter served in a sink (yes!) Or opt for their Joe Louis ice cream sandwiches with fudge on the side to dip in. I'll be back, I need to try more. I'm hungry as I type. Bonus- free WiFi. Lots of comfy booths and coat hangers. Minus- it's pricey. 75$ for two people on both occasions I went. And very loud. It's kid friendly so expect a few cries/ screams.

I love this place!

fried chicken Roquet burger

I've been here a few times over the years, for soccer parties and just with a couple of friends too. Actually, this is our go-to place with 2 friends of mine, not entirely sure why, as the food isn't amazing or anything, its more of a tradition thing now I guess. Anyways, on to the food. Came here last weekend for a late lunch with these 2 said friends. I ordered the fried chicken Roquet burger (bacon, Monterrey Jack cheese and onion rings), my friend got a beef Roquet burger with a side of pulled pork mac n cheese and my other friend got the mac n cheese hot dog. Everyone enjoyed their meals, but none of us were able to eat everything. Although my burger was good and the fried chicken excellent, the burger overall was dry and lacked in flavour (I had to add mayo to try and make it less dry). The fries were good, as was the mac and cheese. Everything was good in general, but nothing more and nothing memorable.

Came here for the Kobe burger and poutine. Loved it! Great friendly and fast service! Love the food and the atmosphere. The place got really crowded fast and the staff were able to keep everyone at a safe distance due to COVID 19.

Decided to try this small fried chicken place. The menu isn't big, fried chicken, nugget, salads…read moreand chicken burger. It's like a glorified pfk. The place is very small, there's 4 table for 4 persons and 2 bar style section where you sit on a stool for about 6 persons. Staff blast personal music through a Bluetooth speaker. When I arrived, the cashier had airpod in his ear while taking order and had trouble understanding people order. He finally removed them after some patrons but he shouldn't have them to begin with. Order take from 5 to 10 minutes to arrived. So it's not fast food as you order and you have it, but it's not table service either. It is not cheap. I was thinking it would cost less. A chicken burker 16$, drink and fries 4.50, poutine instead of fries 4$. 4 chicken strip with buns, 2 sauce and fries, 20$. Total of 50$ with taxes. No I didn't leave any tips, it's not table service or delivery. Staff was nice. As for the food. The chicken mozzarella burger. Big thick chicken with a good chunk of mozzarella. Really good chunk of cheese. But the chicken is as smooshy, not a great feeling. But it's a big burger. As for the poutine, it's also a big good plate, lots of sauce. I suggest starting with it unless you like saugy fries. We found the sauce and fries salt leaking, making it a milder poutine with a sub taste. The hot cheestos chicken tender were very thin. Red hot is suppose to be hot, I think it's the regular tender but in red hot batter or something. Wasn't hot for me. I too the spicy sauce and crusty. The tender wasn't really tender, again squeeshy and felt like left over chicken from 2 days ago. Didn't felt fresh. Regular normal sauce, nothing out of the ordinary. Came with a coleslaw that were also blend. This place remind me of jack le coq. In the end, I won't be coming back. I wish we had a chicken guy, it's so much better.

I saw lots of amazing reviews on google so I decided ok let's try it! Service: 5++++Super friendly very caring and they really care about pleasing their customers. It is a bit of a long wait to get the order! They do everything on order so it takes time to get stuff cooked up but trust me it's worth the wait it's amazing ! At least you know it's FRESH! Food: 5****++++++++++++*+*+++++/5 one of the best if not THE BEST CHICKEN sandwiches I've ever had! In all honesty their chicken was amazing super juicy inside and extremely crispy and light on the out! It was out of this world ! This place is by far the best wayy better than their competitor next door! It definitely needs way more credit it's just that good! The chicken tenders were so juicy inside and crispy crunchy light on the outside wow! I loved the fries they were crispy but still filled inside usually fries have nothing inside these were thick cut french fries that was extremely delicious. The onion rings were good but the STAR was the chicken.. the condiments need a bit of work like their sauce and slaw is a bit bland but f*k it I'm all jn on their chicken!!!! Everything was fresh and made on the spot ! Overall, HUGE HUGE HIT I WILL COME HERE IN A HEARTBEAT ANYDAY !! Definitely worth trying you just have to you won't be disappointed
