Discovered this place thanks to my boyfriend who used to work in the area! I love their variety and the sandwiches taste great! Friendly service and all the COVID measures are in place. I got the CBC sandwich which is cheddar cheese, bacon, and chicken. I added lettuce, black olives, and the special toasties sauce. It was a really good sandwich. This is "supposed to be" a phillys cheese steak. I ordered extra steak & extra mozzarella for a but it seems more like a "steak sandwich". The 2 portions of steak is like 1 portion & it doesn't have no cheese at all. The sandwiches are fresh but very cheap portion. Toasties has perfected the sandwich. The bread is slowly toasted and it comes out perfectly crisp yet soft. The toppings are fresh and the preset combos are creative and fun to choose from. There is literally no reason whatsoever not to go here instead of Subways or Quiznos. This place is superior to the latter two in every single way possible. This is honestly the best place to grab a meal in the whole West Island (not that we have much competition or anything). The staff is very friendly, the place is clean and open almost all day long, there's plenty of seating, etc. It's a simple store that makes subs and it does it very very well. P.S. You can't get any better than a Toasties sub, there just isn't anything like it. Not only is this saucy sandwich a hangover cure, the small portion is 8"! Not a measly 6" that will leave you hungry and not an overwhelming 12"that leaves you bloated. Toasties is a West Island phenomenon. Despite the unfortunate location, the lengthly travel is most definitely worth it- a thousand times over. Finally, I beg of you to try all the tasty Toasties. This is something I would never think would happen, A 5 star review from me. At first when I saw the other reviews I thought it can't be that good that every one gives it 5 stars until I tried it. I Took the Philly cheese steak. I would of taken a pic but when I stared eating it I could not stop and befor I knew it was gone! Excellent subs that stray you out of the standard comfort zone. They offer very interesting combinations. My preferred is their Greek. You will be deliciously surprised. Great service from worker owners who provide great service and advice. Worth more than the 5 star maximum. read more
