Ohm-nom-nom! Atmosphere, drinks, foood, and best of all the service!…read more Atmosphere - 80-90s funk tracks playing, making me giggle about my youth on the DL of course! Drinks - usual bourbon and pale...such a tasty combo. Food - had the tater tot poutine (in love) but this twist had a spicy tomato gravy, I know it sounds strange, but it compliments the wings I got!!! Ketchup chips crusted wings (1lbs=7ish wings) ermahgerd Becky! So good! Service - Juliana as my hostess/barkeep! Very attentive and sweet, always checked on me while I was seated! Also the manager sat me, even tho it's open bar seating, I was just by myself!

The only saving grace was the staff they were incredibly kind and attentive. As for the food, it was average. You even have to pay extra for blue cheese or ranch sauce for your wings because it's "homemade," yet it tasted like nothing. A lot of people rave about the bone marrow poutine, so I figured for $18, it must be something special, right? Sadly, it just tasted like a regular poutine with a bone thrown on top it didn't add any extra flavor, just an extra cost. The wings were decent but nothing I haven't had before. It's nice that there's free parking, but overall, it didn't live up to the hype

The Rail is their casual eatery and it does a great job serving up Stateside comfort foods. We're talking burgers, salads, pastas and pizzas that are definitely a step up from most card room faire. Easy fan of their "crunchy jack burger" piled high with crispy fried onions, chipotle mayo and maple BBQ sauce. Also the simple chili. Looks like it came from a can but definitely doesn't taste like it. Pizzas are all wood fired. Chewy, puffy crust. Order by the menu or customize as much as you like. Ingredients might not be the highest quality but it's still hand crafted and better than any premade processed pie. Create your own pasta, OK. Satisfying since its made for your mood. Tortellini with spicy arabiatta, mushrooms and spicy Italian sausage somehow matches the energy at the tables. All beat the quality of a certain Olive chain. Friendly and efficient service befitting the property. A great spot for a quick refueling before returning to the frenetic energy of the tables.

No more wonderful steak Philly on the Friday. Most of what was offered on that daily menu is permanently gone. They added many different poutine that actually existed before but part of a secret menu you could learn from their social network page. Some starter too. They change the recipe of some of the food. The Mac N cheese is now more creamier and the cheese is more present and flavourful. I never had it by itself, but in the poutine Mac TeX, it's a miss for me. It used to be the poutine I always take when I go there, poutine Mac TeX. Tried it 4 times already since the switch, always the same and I don't like it unfortunately. Maybe others don't. From the post they made on Instagram stating that it was now creamier due to popular demand, I guess that's how people like it. But I think people was taking it by itself and not into a poutine (I never see much people eating a mac te when I'm there). Also the new Mac N cheese on the Mac TeX make it you taste nothing except the creamy liquid cheese from the Mac N cheese, nothing else. I normally add the homemade steak sauce available on the table in the poutine and when I tried it with the new recipe, it wasn't good. I also trie the dirty Poutine. I totally forgot what it is. There's like 2 sauce, I think it's meat sauce? Sorry I really forget. It was good, but about half way through, I was done with the taste just like the current Mac TeX. I still finished it though. Again, it's not bad, everyone has different taste and I started by liking it. I had the same experience when eating the smashburger poutine after eating a smash burger. Don't do it, take either one, not both unless your really into the taste of smashburger cause that's the only thing you taste. Last time I went, I took again the smashburger double cheese and bacon, a must for me, and I took a regular poutine. First time in what, 2 years and at least 30 visit that I take the regular one. It was good. I do miss my og Mac TeX but it's a good replacement. The bonus is it cost about 10$ less and fill less, so I was able to take something off the desert menu for the first time. I toon the chocolate cake and it was very good. The service is always good when I go there. It might be a bit a miss when it's overbooked specially if your table is hidden In a corner (happened a bit in the past). The only reason I bring from 5 to 4 stars is only because I prefered the old menu and old recipe. I did talk to a staff last time about the Mac TeX recipe and was told sometime it's because of new chef. I guess he wasn't aware that the recipe actually change, he did seemed new since I hadn't seen him before. I'll talk to jack or one of the owner last time, not to bad mouth, simply to have feedback from customer on the menu.
