Jujubar - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Jujubar is my go-to local place to get smoothies (and my actual inspiration to start making my own smoothies at home)! This shop is located in a really small plaza so it's always a hit or miss when trying to find parking with its limited spaces. The customer service is very polite and friendly, and are happy to give you a list recommendations and popular items. I noticed that they're very popular for their açai bowls and I'll definitely try and review them one day, but for now, all my Jujubar love is directed towards their smoothies. My favorite smoothie is the Blue Banana; if you're a fan of non-tangy smoothies, I would recommend getting this one. My partner loves tangy and sweet smoothies, and his go-to is the Hawaiian Dream. They make your order at a very decent pace, whether it be crowded or not, when it comes to ordering at the shop in person. (ADVICE!) You can also order through the phone while you're on the way to the shop, and you pay at the register when you get there and pick up your order. read more

My #1 Top choice Acai bowl destination. I really wish they would expand and open everywhere but that might ruin the amazing quality so maybe not. I've been coming for years and am such a lazy person I finally am getting to this review now because I didn't want to write something brief and not give this place the recognition and justice it deserves! By far the largest portions AND lowest prices AND highest quality ingredients I have found in an Acai bowl. Can never finish it in one sitting. There's a humongous menu of bowls to choose from. I usually like to get the standard with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and granola because why mess with a good thing. They are super flexible about making adjustments to ingredients or toppings. Instead of apple juice base I subbed almond milk at no charge. You can switch any of the toppings on the pre created bowls except for some premium items I believe. I love that they offer the unsweetened Acai base even though it is $1 extra. Not a lot of places have this option but I really enjoy the pure Acai flavor and health benefits without the unnecessary sweetness. Staff are sweet and work as quickly as they can. Not the most trendy place in town but don't let that stop you!! I don't see how you can leave disappointed. read more

I found this place on yelp and decided to try it out because of their smoothies and acai bowls. My boyfriend and I got the smoothies and they were both amazing! I love how they have the bigger size as well. Definitely kept me full the whole day and I will definitely be coming back! read more

We were in the area craving smoothies and açaí bowls, and this place did not disappoint! The açaí bowls are enormous, so even though the prices seem high initially, you definitely get your money's worth! I had the peanut butter crunch smoothie and it was so good, my daughter asked to go back the next day and ordered it again. Wish they had one in the San Diego area! read more

My friend told me about this place a couple months ago, and I am seriously addicted to their protein smoothies! They are so good and SO filling that I stay full all day! The service is great and the employees are always so kind! I especially love the peanut butter crunch smoothie! They are also so accommodating when I ask for substitutions or additions to certain menu items! Highly recommended for anyone in the area, especially ID you are on your way to the beach! read more

By far the best smoothie in town. I'm always impressed how everyone who works here is focused, efficient and friendly and they are consistent in their recipes. My favorite. read more

Jujubar is my favorite local smoothie shop in Costa Mesa. You can't beat their prices ($8 for a 24 oz smoothie?! Sign me up!) My favorite item on the menu is their Peanut Butter Crunch smoothie - sub green protein & add strawberries. It's like a PB&J in smoothie form and is to die for. read more

Jujubar - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

I've been going to Jujubar since before they opened a location in Costa Mesa, and I'm so glad they finally opened one closer to me than Riverside because, when it comes to açaí bowls, my two favorite places are Jujubar and Blue Bowl. If you're craving fresh fruit, then I'd choose Jujubar. But if you're talking about different bases or toppings, then I'd recommend Blue Bowl. So it really comes down to what you want from your açaí bowl. So let's get down to the details! When I go here with my girlfriend, I usually get the Amazon Bowl and my girlfriend gets the Tsunami Bowl. The main thing I love about Jujubar is the fact that they blend juices and fresh fruits into your açaí base to give your bowl extra flavor. Don't expect it to be a quick assembly line process like Blue Bowl because your orders are blended and created when you order it. Also, the sizes of their portions are large and they do not skimp on toppings. Like I said, Jujubar and Blue Bowl are my two go-to spots for açaí and for different reasons, and if you want my opinion on blue bowl, then you can find my review on their page! Overall, I would strongly recommend Jujubar to someone looking for an açaí bowl place with a lot of flavor! read more

We came here after dinner because I was craving an açaí bowl. We found this little place on yelp based on my location. When we first got here, I was really impressed with the large selection of açaí bowls they offer. Most places only offer a few different toppings, but this place had more than 10 I think. I ordered the superberry açaí bowl. I liked the flavor of the açaí; it was pretty sweet. I didn't know there was a sugar free option until after I ordered. I was a little taken aback to see that it was an extra $1 for it to be sugar free. I thought this was a little bit ridiculous because why would you charge more just to not add sugar to something, regardless the flavor was fine for me. I didn't however like the texture of the açaí. I think they used to much juice in the blend because mine was sort of watered down and very running. I like my açaí blend to be a little thicker and a little more solid versus more liquid. I've never had it this runny before. I do think the amount of açaí and fruit they give is pretty generous for the price. Most of the places I go to, a small açaí bowl costs about $12. This place was $8. I can see why. I realized that they blended the açaí with a lot of other stuff so it's not true açaí. It was ok though. Place is ok, but I've definitely had better. read more

My husband used to live in Costa Mesa and he took me here. We come from LA to just eat this Açaí bowls during weekend. They have many kinds of things and hard to get sick of. My husband loves tiger bowl which is peanut butter and banana blend. I love fruitastic bowl because I love more fruity taste. I really appreciate their great food and service. I am in love! I ordered the fruitastic bowl with almond butter on top. the base was super smooth and did not melt very fast. Another thing I liked was that the base was decently sweet and not sour like some other acai places. Parking could be a bit difficult since it is a smaller lot. One bowl definitely filled me up for the day (maybe it was the almond butter..) read more

Been going here since they first opened years ago. Always received friendly help i believe the owners were (asian man/lady) many years ago correct me if i'm wrong. For years I'd eat here once a week since I lived down the street. Then i relocated to Anaheim and would still drive to this location, passing by many other açaí bowl options (which i've tried) but they would never compare to jujubar. Now in Garden Grove i still from time to time place a phone order just to get my favorite *Tiger bowl w/extra honey* it has always been consistent and my goto for açaí bowls. read more

Oh my goooooooddness what a find! I just wish there was a place closer to me and not 35+ minutes away... Waaaaaaahhh! It was my first time and I was definitely overwhelmed when entering this place due to all the pictures on the walls of all possibles one could order but I finally narrowed it down to the SUPERBERRY ACAI BOWL in a regular. The regular is huge! I had a hard time finishing it let alone try and attempt the Large. The SUPERBERRY ACAI BOWL goes $8.25 and consists of a blend of raspberry juice, Acai, strawberries, and blueberries and is topped with banana, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, granola, and honey. There's a container to the right of the cash register where you can add more toppings to your bowl such as almonds, agave, peanuts, Etc but you're only allowed 2 scoops per customer. I went for two scoops of almonds... Ok I did three such a rebel I know lol Oh my gosh this is good! The blend is Perfect, no chunks and All the ingredients mixed together makes such amazing and fulfilling bowl. They also offer a variety of other healthy options like smoothies, fresh juices and snacks. Didn't get to try any, maybe next time. Service was lacking here for sure. Workers didn't care to be there nor did they care to answer any questions. If I'm in the area I'll definitely stop by again for a bowl. read more

I've been here on several occasions after a cycling class! This place has really good prices, large sizes, and delicious drinks. Not only do they have healthy drinks, juice, but if you want that secret menu like from Jamba they have some too! //CONTEXT// I always come here after a workout in the area. //PARKING// It's a small lot but there's always parking and people in and out. //DRINKS// I had many of their drinks before, from the shark attack with protein to the one that taste like white gummi from Jamba, their acai bowls, etc. Everything is so good! And you can't beat the prices! Less than $9 for a smoothie that's HUGE! No weird bits at the end, their recipe I feel like is very smooth and consistent unlike sometimes you go to a place and they use too much ice or not enough. This place has it down //SERVICE// Always prompt //OVERALL// I highly recommend this place. You can't beat the prices and the drinks are well made, consistent, and never chunky! read more

I make it a point to come here every time I visit SoCal. You won't find a better bang for your buck - the bowls at this place are giant and under $10. I always order the Tsunami bowl because it's blended with coconut milk instead of fruit juice. I like when the flavor of the acai dominates and isn't masked by other, more tart fruits. Add almond butter for $1 and it can't be beat! read more

Best açaí and yogi bowls I've ever had. My kids and man love this place as much as I do

one of the best açaí bowls I've ever tasted! They have so many items of their menu to choose from but I really like how they have pictures of every item to see them visually. I can tell that they are a very popular açaí place not matter what time of day because there were so people going in and out of the location with the short time I was there. There portions are hugeee and their prices for each bowl are definitely worth the quality of each bowl. I can't wait to go back again! read more

My favorite juice and smoothie bar. I wish it was closer to my home location. I am always please and the staff is fantastic

It was good, not great. The wait was long due to online orders and pickups I assume. People were nice and fruit was fresh.

They have quite an assortment of blended mixtures to be topped w granola/nuts/fruit/honey and other deliciouslyt miscellaneous items that it's hard to choose what you want to get. I ended up w the Pitaya bowl made up of a pitaya, pineapple, mango blend and topped w banana strawberry mango and coconut for 7.50. I added a lil swirl of honey when it came out and it was good enough to kill my crazy lady times sweet cravings. hahaa They have some nuts, dried fruit and honey if you want to add any of it once it's out. I find that most acai places take about 10+ minutes to get an order out but this place wasn't too crowded and I was in and out in about 5. Good stuff. They're all blends so there's no pure acai bowl but it's a pretty darn good replacement for what would otherwise lead me to go get a gallon of ice cream. LOL. WIll be back to check out some of their other bowls. read more
