I was told by my friend that recently tried jujubar and I was like couldn't believe it haha I use to only have the chance to get acai/pitaya bowls when I would go to the OC and go places such as banzai bowl. Now the close proximity is an added bonus! No more grueling 91 traffic! I ended up choosing "Mango Cha Cha Bowl" which is just an acai bowl but with topped with granola, coconut, strawberries, mangoes, and a drizzle of honey. It's pretty standard and I was full with the portion I had. Unlike Banzai, JuJu only had 1 size. The 1 size was equivalent to small in Banzai but there was a significantly more toppings; which I like because usually when I get to the bottom of my acai bowl, I would have no more toppings. Wow! Went here two days in a row last week after discovering it nearby my house. The acai bowls and yogi bowls are both incredible, but after trying both I think I prefer the acai bowl because they fill it up more with delicious fresh fruit :) Basically it's a smoothie covered with granola and fresh fruit/honey. Coming from the OC, acai bowl places are pretty common out there. Sadly, before jujubar, there were absolutely no acai bowl places in riverside, so jujubar is clutch AF. Their bowls are made well and the prices are reasonable. I personally always stick to the original acai bowl just cause that's what I get at banzai in Laguna (Maui sunrise) but I've tried their mango flavor before and that was rly good. I've tried the yogi bowl once but I really like the strong flavor of the acai in the acai bowls so if you don't want a yogurt flavor as a base I would recommend sticking to the acai or pitaya. I personally always get extra granola in my bowl just cause I feel like my granola always runs out ($1 extra). What's convenient about jujubar is that you can always call in your order ahead of time so you don't have to wait when you get there too. Definitely check it out, if you're a UCR student, it's like 15 min away from campus but the trip is worth it these are quality bowls. read more

I give this place for today 3 stars only because I ordered 2 bowls the Pitaya bowl and Tiger bowl. When I looked at the photo menu of the bowls because thats how I always pick which bowl I wanted, and what I received is idk what it was. because my bowl looked nothing like it does in the tiger bowl photo which i substituted bananna for pineapple and the blended part of my bowl should have been bright PINK. I often get the Juicy summer Yogi bowl and it's USUALLY pretty good. But today when I ordered a juicy summer, it was really watery. And I get it, it's yogurt and sherbet so it's more watery than an açaí bowl. But today it was straight liquid. Not even a smoothie texture.
