Either way, whichever you buy drinks from, you'll surely satisfy your thirst and taste buds. Whenever my family watches a movie in the Power Plant Mall, I either get coconut juice or have my regular Supercharger in The Big Chill. It has mango, strawberry and grape, 3 of my favorite fruits and has a blend of anti-oxidants, nutrients and amino acids so what's not to like? It tastes so good too! Don't let the striking green color make you think it tastes like bland vegetables because it doesn't. I've tasted their sandwiches too but they're nothing special. Green mango and pineapple paradise are delicious choices as well and I make it a point to couple them with Spirulina - which is a super food that is good for your immune system and rich in protein.

I still wanted a drink, so I was like, "why the hell not, I'll try it out." I ordered their Power Breakfast, which was oats and bananas. I fully expected to not really love it. Boy, was I wrong. I absolutely loved that thing. Obviously, it tasted like breakfast. I like eating fresh bananas, but normally, I dislike bananas in juices and shakes 'cause it stops tasting fresh. However, Big Chill's shake tastes like I'm eating the bananas. It's grinded just well enough so that there's no annoyingly huge chunks of ice that I hate when it comes to shakes or smoothies.

And Fruitas does away with all the pretense and exorbitant price by just offering you your choice of fruit, ice, and simply syrup (hold the milk, please!) in a glass, all enough to give you a little mirth in this mad world. I'm not sure if it's the rapport we have built with my having bought almost the same green mango shake every time I go here, but the lady here is pretty nice, smiley, and cheeky, all good traits you'd want when being handed your fruit shake. The office is surrounded by so many coffee and tea shops, theres really a lot to choose from. Among the choices is Caffé Bene. This place is my number 1 choice. I have only tried their coffee but I can truthfully say that I'd rather go here than to the nearby starbucks. Their medium roast blends give just the right taste of coffee. I enjoy my cup very much. The price range is similar to starbucks as well. I have no idea how their pastries and gelato tastes like. They even have bingsu. Still so much to explore with this coffee shop. I decided to get their Minty Berry Detox - a purplish concoction with different kinds of berries, lemon and mint leaves. Each bottle is quite pricey but I didn't mind paying especially if it's for the benefit of my health. So all you health buffs out there, do try this one out. Other health buffs like to do the "Juice Cleanse" with these as well. Spruce mainly produces and sells cold-pressed juices that are really good. They are all made from scratch without harmful additives. The cashier told me that all their juices have no preservatives and added sweeteners. All the juices they sell taste like that naturally. It all comes from the natural ingredients they use - either from the fruit or the vegetable. Each bottle must be consumed in 48 hours or less because they're unpasteurized so it'll expire in a short amount of time. It just goes to show how the ingredients used are natural and fresh! My personal favorites are The Skinny Bitch (a green juice that's composed of Pear, cucumber, pomelo, celery, romaine, and ) parsley, Lady Luck (carrot, orange, pear, pineapple, beet, lemon, and ginger), and the Lemon-Aid (filtered waiter, lemon juice, organic grade B maple syrup, and cayenne powder). They're just really great tasting healthy juices! They're also best paired with their Kale Mix Chips - Sour Cream, Barbecue, and Vegan Cheese!

Customer service was good, restaurant was cozy, and food was out of this world. I came today and saw they were in a new location. Initially felt "cool" but immediately was greeted with a cold demeanor. Half of our table are Filipino born and raised, while my sister and I are born in the US. I asked for bottled water and they had one bottle left. My dad (born in the Philippines), watched the lady who initially sat us down who mocked me for asking for bottled water. I had my back to the restaurant the entire time, so I didn't see a lot of the interaction, but my dad saw and understood it all. We ordered the sisig - undercooked. The pancit hab hab - underwhelming. They had no soda, and we all (9) had to share 1 big bottle of water. Ok, fine, no troubles. Then, they ran out of plenty of entrees, so we were limited on what to order. My sister watched the staff spray the table while there were still items on it, while my dad watched and listened as the staff were gossiping about all the patrons (including us) in the restaurant. It was quite uncomfortable. Sorry not sorry, but this place is no longer it and the entire staff needs an entire overhaul of retraining if you want to salvage this place.
