A quick place to pick up a natural juice. What not cool about taking care of our healthy. Right? Prices are very affordable compare to other places. The most expensive was $6.25, no bad at all. They also have a nice list to pick from. I always go with all the veggie green, but this time I added yogurt to my drink, yum, it was delicious, but a bit sweet. But, I can excuse the sweetness and say I got the amount of probiotics I need for the day. Wink, wink! Hehehe. Place isn't big, nor is it an all fancy juicing spot. Although it's small, the gentleman who served us was quick, and customer service was great! They do have 2 tables near the back, and 2 in the front, all sitting 2 per table. They have a business corner on the right corner when you walk in, for those who want to leave business cards for customers to check out. Nice to see they support others businesses. A neat book to check out is their menu book on the counter; which show ingredients, amount of sugar, proteins, calories, etc. That was neat to look through. If you're from La Mirada, you already know that this establishment has been here for long time- and for a very good reason! Every single thing I've ever ordered here since I was a kid has been amazing. This places beats Jamba Juice any day! My personal favorite is the Slap Shot (#8). I usually add rice bran and protein powder. However, they do offer wheat grass shots, fresh juices, and a large array of more protein-focused drinks. You can add on extras for 50 cents per item and there's a huge list of them! I appreciate the consistency of their smoothies- as in they taste the same every time. I admire the switch to paper straws instead of plastic in an effort to be eco-conscious (there's also just something really fun about paper straws). They also have the nutrition facts for each item in binders in case you count your macronutrients. Coming in here is always a pleasure, the owner has been the same gentleman that I've seen since I was little and he has always greeted me with a smile and even remembered me. Green energy juice is amazing! I've been on a health kick recently and have been substituting a lot of my fatty meals for healthier alternatives such as green juices. I usually make my own smoothies at home but thought I would give it try since it was down the street and I was In a rush this morning. The establishment is pretty small and I only saw one guy working , I'm assuming he's the owner. He was very sweet and gave me a run down of the juices. I ended up choosing "green energy" he said it was their best selling drink. I ended up ordering the 24oz for almost 7 bucks which is pretty pricey and would be the only reason why I wouldn't come back but since I'm on this health kick right now I'll probably stop by a few times a week to get myself pumped up for my diet. I can't do this to stop two days in a row - the juices are amazing. More importantly on the first day I left my wallet which had a significant amount of cash in it over $500. When I finally got home that night and realized my wallet was gone I retraced my steps and concluded I must have left my wallet at the juice stop. Came here for the first time & with so many options you'd think they can take out certain fruits that you don't like in a smoothie/ can't eat. I asked if he could take out the cranberry and banana before making the smoothie & he said no. I asked if he could add acai in another smoothie and he said no. I have been coming here since they opened. Today I went for the first time in a long time. My juice was delicious as always and service was good. The problem is how dirty the place is. The window treatments are faded with graffiti scratches. The shelves with the plastic wheat grass and other nik naks is filthy, I think the cleat with a plastic plant in it has been there at least ten years. Hate to complain about a local business but with today's higher standards for cleaner more sanitary conditions Juice Stop is not even trying. I can't give more than one star based on management not caring about the store. read more

Life is all about balance, yeah? I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner. He's a really nice guy! There's a large wall to right of the counter with AAALLLLL the options. Green juices, fruit smoothies, energy boosters, vitamin givers, and post-workout drinks. (UFC gym is in the same parking lot; I'm assuming lots of people stop by after hitting the gym.) I ordered one of their fruit smoothies...one with basically strawberries and bananas...all-american maybe? Anyways, it tasted good. Juice Stop does not use fresh ingredients in their juice. I am all for supporting small local businesses. However, my experience at Juice Stop was shocking. I ordered a green juice and my friend ordered a juice that contained "freshly squeezed orange juice." While waiting for our order, we noticed the employee grab a Kirkland Orange Juice from the fridge and pour it into her juice. We all know it costs about $5-6 for a decent carton of orange juice at the grocery store. My friend decided she no longer wanted the juice after realizing she wasn't paying for fresh juice. It didn't make sense for her to pay $6 for a 16oz cup of juice when she could walk around the corner to Albertsons and buy an entire carton of OJ for the same price. When she expressed her concern that she would never have placed the order if she knew the juice was not fresh the employee was unsure of how to handle the situation. Completely understandable. Looked like a high school kid who just got a work permit. However, when the employee informed the owner that my friend wanted a refund, the owner was neither apologetic nor polite. Instead, he brought out the Kirkland OJ carton and read the label on the carton: "Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice." My friend simply asked for a refund for her untouched juice and the owner began yelling at her in front of his staff and other customers. I think this yelling continued for a good 5-6 minutes before he gave her a refund. I don't see the need to yell at a customer when you are falsely advertising that your ingredients are fresh when they are obviously not. People who go out of their way to drive to a juice store are usually the individuals who are willing to pay a premium for juice. Everyone knows Kirkland is a Costco brand and that Kirkland OJ was probably 2 for $7. I mean.. I have the Business Card at Costco. read more

I love their smoothies. It's a sports theme here, so you'll find smoothies called Slapshot, Sideout, and more. The menu is written on a chalkboard. Sorta ties in to the whole sports theme. Their smoothies include fresh fruit, juice, and sometimes yogurt. Not all the smoothies have yogurt or frozen yogurt. And like other smoothie places, they have the vitamin and mineral add-ins. They are very healthy here. In fact, they even have a nutritional guide set out. I've come to Juice Stop several times to get smoothies. I've never been let down. The smoothies are always well blended. I don't think I've ever come across ice chunks like some other places.
