On such a hot day. I was craving something fresh and nutritious after church…read more My Yelp friends led me here, and when I first walked in, there was a little bit of a line which I usually interpret as a good sign. I spent about $14 for an açai bowl their tropical mango bowl I believe. I had some modifications since I didn't like the raw coconut offering or the banana so I opted for sliced almonds and extra mango with almond butter on top. After waiting a few minutes, looking at the bowl, it didn't look like much and sadly it didn't taste like much either. The almond butter was globed on top and made it really difficult to eat. After bypassing the almond butter I was able to get into the açai which was way too sweet. I'm not sure what type of açai they use, but it did not taste like a freshly prepared açai it tasted more artificial and overly sweet. It may have also been sweet because of the honey I believe they put on top of it. The combination of the açai with the honey and then almond butter was way too sweet. The mango was OK not as firm as I would want it to be and the granola was at the bottom at the bowl and also sprinkled on top, but unfortunately it was the worst acai bowl I've ever had. Parking is free and they do offer a few seats inside. The staff was also really nice but unfortunately, if I do decide to come back maybe I'll try a smoothie instead.

I always love supporting small businesses, and I do want to start by saying that the lady running the shop was incredibly nice and helpful! She was very friendly throughout our visit, and I genuinely appreciated the service we received. Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to enjoy this place, the smoothies themselves were just not for me. Between our group, we ordered the chocolate strawberry, blueberry vanilla, cookies and cream, and peanut butter chocolate smoothies. I really don't like saying this, especially about a small business, but I honestly hated every single one of them. I tried all four flavors, and I genuinely couldn't get past more than one sip of each. The biggest issue was the texture and consistency. All four smoothies were weirdly warm, which was already a little off-putting since we were expecting something cold and refreshing after playing tennis. On top of that, they were incredibly watery, but somehow they were also bubbling and fizzing despite not being carbonated drinks. It was such an unusual combination of textures that none of us really knew what to make of it. Flavor-wise, everything tasted overwhelmingly like protein powder. I understand that this is a nutrition-focused shop, so I wasn't necessarily expecting the same kind of smoothie I'd get from a regular boba or smoothie place. However, I was still hoping for something that tasted like the flavors we ordered. Unfortunately, the protein powder taste completely overpowered everything else, and I could barely distinguish the different flavors. We all ended up trying each other's drinks to see if maybe someone had ordered a better flavor, but unfortunately, none of us enjoyed any of them. In the end, we actually threw all four smoothies away, which is something I really hate doing, especially after spending money on them. Overall, I feel pretty conflicted writing this review because the lady working there was genuinely so sweet, and I really do want to see small businesses succeed. However, I also want to be honest about our experience, and unfortunately, these were some of the least enjoyable smoothies I've tried. Between the warm temperature, watery yet fizzy consistency, and overwhelming protein powder flavor, they just weren't what any of us were hoping for. I really wish I had something more positive to say about the drinks themselves, but I don't see myself coming back for another smoothie. I do appreciate the kindness and service we received, though, and I hope others who enjoy this style of nutrition smoothie have a better experience than we did!
