First of all, I want to say that the service was really good. There are some really nice people working in the shop. The person who helped me was really nice and helped me to get a smoothie that we called the mermaid smoothie. We put Spira Lena in a green smoothie so that it was mermaid color and it was super cute. The reason why I would never go here again though is because I didn't realize how much sugar they put in their smoothies. The representative asked if I wanted a sweet smoothie and I told her that I only wanted things that are sweetened by fruit. When I drove away elated, thinking I had this beautiful mermaid smoothie that would hold me over for my 2 hour drive, I noticed the smoothie was sweet and I thought maybe it was the spirulina powder. She had given me a smoothie with sherbet, and that's why my stomach was hurting. The worst part was, no one answered the phone when I called back to see what happened, even though I called three times, and then when I tried to call another location, it turns out that they're a franchise. So you can't even replace the smoothie for a better one. I absolutely hate this franchise. They don't make your smoothies ahead of time, you never know what you're going to get, and if you drive away you're screwed. I've been to various Juice It Up locations for over 25 years and have been getting the same drink.. so I have a pretty good idea on how it's supposed to taste like. I've visited this location twice. Both times the Strawberry Wave tasted very watered down.. almost as if they put half the juice and fruit required in the recipe and replaced it with water and more ice to cut costs. Also, this location charges about $1 more than other locations. I will not be coming back anytime soon. Hopefully, they fix this issue. read more

Attempted to make a call ahead order- first call ignored, second call answered impatiently and told me to order online, as they won't accept phone orders. I asked for advice on how to place an order for something not on the menu - Passion Punch. I was told by "Yolma" order anything and make a note, they'll do it. Then hung up. I came in and ordered passion punch, and then told them to advise the team that custom orders/memos aren't available online. She smiled and said we don't make that. I told her I just got it within the past month and she laughed and restated her statement . Apparently jade is her supervisor, but I have no way to give this disappointing feedback. Very disappointed with my experience today. I ordered two fresh squeeze juices exactly the same way. (Pineapple base with some greens and lemon) One of them tasted OK but had a ton of pulp in it which I tolerated, but the second one was extremely bitter. ( this one was for my daughter and I just wanted to make sure it tasted OK ) It was not even consumable. So I walked back in and explained to the young man how bitter it tasted. Without hesitation he said he would remake it, and quickly shuffled back to the juicer. I noticed in the beginning he was using a lot of the pineapple rinds, I asked him if he could not use those because I thought that's what made it so bad. But to my surprise he didn't bother cleaning the machine before remaking it. And it tasted exactly same! Ended up just getting a refund for the one juice. I kept apologizing as I felt very bad, but not once did he apologize lol. I have been to this Juice It Up! quite a few times for smoothies and never had an issue. The lady also gave us attitude. I have Been a long time customer of this location. In fact my child even worked there while in high school. This morning I came in and bought 2 smoothies. I really needed to use the restroom due to a medical condition that gives me urgency and increased frequency. I asked to use the restroom which has a sign saying "employees only" and explained my rather embarrassing condition. The girl working said she could not let me bc she would get "fired". I can understand that they don't want non-customers using their facilities and to keep the homeless out of their restrooms. But to not allow customers to use them, even on an exception basis is ludicrous. Furthermore, failure to allow a customer to use the restroom is in violation of The Disability Act and can be seen as DISCRIMINATION for which the owner is liable. The "no restroom restriction" began bc of COVID... this is no longer the case and should be offer to customers. This used to be a great location but it has changed hands several times and so has the service. They aren't happy and friendly anymore. It's sad to see good businesses fail. read more

Terrible customer service I went there today at 12:09 PM for my lunch. I had called six minutes prior or so and the girl said she had a very long line and she was the only one there she was sitting there talking to some guy when I arrived, who was the only person in the store?
