I have always had great experience with this yoga studio. The class quality has always been spot on; they serve you an ice cold lavender towel towards the end to help you center the focus and cool down. My friend Becky just got certified with them as a yoga instructor - she is AWWWEESOME! It's my first time taking class in this Sparks location. The store is a little confusing to find (or not really lol) - Google will want to take you "directly" here if you are driving, but the spot is located on the side strip mall going into the imax theater. This location is slightly smaller than others, but they still got everything you need. Masks are required to enter the store and walk around but aren't required during the class.

Gorgeous, gorgeous girls please incorporate hot Pilate in your workout plan besides weight lifting!!! This is probably my fifth session with Maddie since I've been adding hot Pilate class to my workout plan once a week and her class never disappoints. She focuses on lower body workouts from glutes to core and adds a little hint of cardio workouts right after. I've taken different classes from juice box and I must say this one has got to be one of my favs.

I think I reviewed the wrong location. We visited the Sierra Rose location in Reno. It was great!

I visited for the first time in 2018 on a free week promo I think. I liked it but I was committed…read moreto other things so I put it in my mind as an option for later. Fast forward to fall 2019. I walked, acquired some home exercise stuff and did zoom exercise post march 2019 until then. Now, I was ready to mask up in a safe environment and step up my game. I remembered that the reformers are spaced out more than other studios with a bigger room than other pilates places around. Also, I wanted to give a local biz owner business so to IMX I went. I have been visiting since October 2019 and I am very happy with the studio and instructors. We all clean the equipment well so it is ready for the next person and it is a quality workout with thoughtful instruction. The reformers are quite large from other studios you may of been on and the IMX style of reformer workout is a bit more of a mix up. The reformers have a wide range of exercises they can accommodate but take a bit of getting used to as they are different than classical reformers.

It was a little intimidating at first learning the new motions and how to navigate the reformer but it was definitely love at first workout. Here I am in 2015 finally going back after a hiatus that lasted a few years. I LOVE this place. The instructors are awesome. Lynette is and always has been my absolute fave. She is knowledgeable, funny and friendly. She makes sure you understand what you are doing and is there to help you execute your moves correctly. I love what the reformers do for my bod. The workout is tough but I do not have any dread factor while I am driving there to work out. I leave feeling some serious muscle fatigue but also exhilarated. The facilities are clean and the machines are in excellent condition. Top notch facility. So very glad that Sparks has an excellent pilates spot.

I recently signed up for the new student special at The Studio and I have been soooo impressed with…read morethe diversity and knowledge of all the amazing teachers and additionally the calming serenity and decor of both studio spaces. All of these factors have made me feel incredibly welcome and supported as a new student. However, one teacher in particular has really made certain that I will keep coming back long after my new student special has ended. I have predominantly been a bikram method yogi previously because I consider myself to be choreographically challenged and I always have trouble following along with all the changing movements of yoga classes. I often times get exasperated and anxious, feeling like I simply can't keep up, nor do I know how to adjust myself when I get off track and lost. However, the instructor Kat Ames has really helped me feel hand held and guided with the most incredible patience trying to help me understand how to really drop into every posture she recommends. Her kind corrections and adjustments feel gentle and supportive and I love how she actually SEES me and is paying attention to what I am doing - like my experience as a student in her class truly matters. Thanks to Kat I am learning new ways to use yoga tools like balls and straps and I can thoughtfully notice whether a posture is really softening the part of my body we are targeting because my teacher uses language that is so relatable and specific. Not to mention, I absolutely love it when she breaks out her sound bath bowls. They just make me feel like I am relaxing in another dimension. Thank you Kat and thank you to The Studio for offering such great instructors and so much yoga diversity!

As a yogi I prefer the heat should come from within...One student even complained when she walked in, I was like, "yes"! Only then did they open a window. The teacher was okay but it's never okay to use profanity of any kind in a class situation and it's quite offensive. Considering I was a first time student she should have watched herself. In the end the class itself was wrong for me; too many props used. My Yogis always taught me that props are not a good idea...and I agree somewhat. I have a block and a strap that can be handy when I've returned to my mat after many falls and severe injuries. I've been a Yogi for 24 years. I several advanced training courses that I've taken over the years. I attended the "Harvard" of Yoga schools in 2005. It's called White Lotus and is located in the stunning Santa Barbara. In a few years I will be opening up my own Yoga Studio in Southern California, I so miss my Cali, not the taxes just the vibe... Every now and then I go back to the Bay Area to teach private classes to my loyal students. The location of this place is in the busy midtown area of Reno. Thankfully the parking wasn't a issue on a Sunday at 3. The studio was very nice and clean.

I came to Midtown because it is a little closer to my side of town and the schedule was perfect for my needs. I was able to get my first class free to try it out. I already knew I was impressed after the first class, but just in case I was not hooked I decided to do the new student pack of unlimited yoga classes for the first month for only 45.00. All the staff seem to be very helpful and very nice to talk to. The teachers are very knowledgeable about the practice. Most classes are for about and hour and 15 min and some even offer the essential oil to help relax at the end of practice. If you are new to yoga or looking for an affordable place for your practice you should give Midtown a try.

You know some places it's obvious that everyone in the class has been going for years and the instructor explains what she's doing but she's going so fast that you really can't get into? This is not that! Every class I have tried I have thoroughly enjoyed. I never feel like a bother when I have to ask for clarification and generally, I don't even have to ask because it's either been explained well or the instructor is cruising around correcting posture and whatnot as she teaches. I feel completely comfortable here. The studio itself is very warm and inviting. Both of the rooms have their charm and I love the floors, I think they are cork? This place gives me all of the warm fuzzies.
