Met up with friends for some wood-fired pizza, and this place was perfect for it! The restaurant…read morefeels like stepping into a beautiful log cabin--cozy and intimate for date nights, yet spacious enough for larger groups. They also have a full bar, craft beer and offer much more than just pizza, including vegan options, a great selection of appetizers, salads, handcrafted pastas, plus fish and steak dishes. The menu is really well done. We decided to share a few pizzas since the brick oven was calling our name: Margherita - fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, and basil Pesto Chicken - wood-fired chicken, fresh basil, mozzarella, Fontina, and basil pesto Smokey the Pig - smoked mozzarella, baked prosciutto, field mushrooms, fresh garlic, and EVOO For dessert, we shared the coconut cake. It's plant-based, made with coconut milk and brown sugar, and topped with coconut flakes. The portion was easily enough for four people and absolutely delicious--super fresh and flavorful. Our server, Tara, was wonderful--so sweet and attentive. She checked in often, kept our drinks filled, and made sure we enjoyed everything from the food to dessert. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

We had devil eggs, zucchini crisp, salmon, hanger steak sandwich and kids mac&cheese. Zucchini crisp is not bad. A little bit too thin for me. The sauce is spot on. Great flavor. Salmon itself is very good crispy skin. Tender and soft meat. The risotto needs some work. Not creamy enough. I also had a blueberry drink (mocktail). Refreshing. Great for the hot day. Service was good. She had many tables so was a little busy. But overall she did a great job getting our orders, provided what we need/ask. All staff were friendly. They had live music going on indoor. Also had a baby shower going on. I can see this is a very popular spot.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Solid Mediterranean/Middle Eastern Sandwiches. ++++ Kofta Kebab and Gyro Sandwiches - Both were packed into an open-ended pita bread. Sandwich had decent flavor, white sauce mixed in and a good amount of vegetables inside, but could have definitely used more meat. ++++ Chicken Shawarma Sandwich - Much better than the other 2 sandwiches we had. The sandwich was served in a wrap and there was A LOTTTT of chicken shawarma packed into it. Chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. + Plenty of tables and chairs inside. + Employee who served us was friendly and our food came out super quick. + Smallish private parking lot outside, but there aren't many businesses at this little strip mall. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nada. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Quiet on an early Saturday afternoon at 11:30-1. No one else was dining inside, but there were a few pick up orders.

I genuinely love this place and made it a point (kinda sorta went out of my way) to come here…read moretonight. I've reviewed this place before but they're so great I had to do another one. Besides the fact that you get attentive service, the food is incredible! Fresh ingredients, really traditional dishes/recipes. Everything tastes homemade and I genuinely wonder if someone's (yaya) is doing all the cooking in the back. Also? "Generous portions" (as they say on their website) is exactly right! Best past is all their batter is Gluten Free (yup!). Everything also tastes very light. I didn't get anything fried but have a feeling if you do order fried foods, it won't be bathing in oil. The ambiance, while modest by American standards, I believe is authentically Greek-- unassuming, highlighted with images and elements of Greece, and really, you come with loved ones and just eat and enjoy. I mean, that IS the Greek culture in its truest form, no? Good selection of wines and they also serve a menu of cocktails.

Sorry to say this place has gone way downhill. A regular customer for a long time left disappointed…read moreand unimpressed. 1. The parking lot is filthy. Litter and broken glass all over. 2. The entrance had dead plants. 3. The interior entrance looked like it hadn't been mopped in years. 4. The interior needs a dusting and mopping. Christmas decorations are still up. 5. Service is terrible. Slow. Inattentive. Never refilled our water glasses. Never received the pita bread and dips usually offered. 6. Food was blah. No flavor. No seasoning. Gigantes were undercooked. Prasini salad had no salt. Lemon potatoes were hard. Chicken was flavorless and so was the spanakopita . 7. When the owner Maria is not there, don't go. Everything is not okay.

We worked right next-door and went there all the time…read more Love their Taylor, ham, egg, and cheese, love, LOVE, love their chicken cutlet sandwich - my gosh amazing.- chicken salad is excellent. We've all ordered from there 100 times and we've always enjoyed their food and their service.

It…read morelooks like a dive from the outside (I say this with the most respect, because some of the best food comes from "dives") but it is a no frills essentially side of the road deli with quite an extensive menu. The staff I encountered were friendly & patient, which is shockingly not the norm these days! I ordered the tuna melt & fries & took a seat at the counter. I was the only one sitting along the counter, but there are also a few tables in the back that had parties at them. My food was ready relatively quickly & was served to me with a smile. The fries were of the steak cut variety, which aren't my favorite, but no fault of the delis - just my personal preference. They were cooked well & served hot - can't ask for much more! The tuna melt was actually a sandwich & not an open faced sandwich, as they tend to be, and I found that to be a pleasant surprise. Open faced tend to get soggy quickly. The tuna was aplenty & it was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted & buttery as well. I do wish it was served with a pickle spear, though. Not sure if that's the norm & mine was forgotten or if it is not served as such. Either way, I'm obviously grasping at straws. Otherwise, it was a delightful lunch. I'm happy to have discovered The Cutting Board & even happier they are in the immediate area of my job, I will definitely be back to try more.

It's a great spot if you're looking for a nice night out at an Italian restaurant for a good meal…read more Great food quality, presentation and execution. We were there for Mother's Day dinner at 5:30 and were enjoying our meal until we were approached…read moreby a very unpleasant man who failed to introduce himself. He immediately started barking at us about how we had made a reservation for four adults and one child, and that we would have to pay full price for the fourth adult which was $80 who did not show up. When we were seated, I had already apologized to the server that the fourth person could not make it, and the server -- who had otherwise been wonderful -- politely told us it was fine. I really thought this won't be a big deal like other establishments that are even more high end. I later learned that the individual's name was Tom. Describing his behavior as merely rude would be an understatement; his conduct was obnoxious, unprofessional, and unnecessarily aggressive. First, being charged the full $80 price for a guest who did not attend was extremely shocking and disappointing. More concerning, however, was the manner in which Tom approached and addressed us. In all my years of dining out, I have never experienced such poor service or such an inappropriate attitude from restaurant staff. Although I was eventually provided with containers to pack some food to take home, the entire experience left me feeling deeply insulted and completely ruined what was meant to be a special Mother's Day dinner. This Tom, who I was told aa a manger lacks a professionalism to be a qualified one. He needs a major attitude change.
