It came with a HUGE side of potato salad that reminded me of my mom's ~ overall deliciousness. Today, I had a delicious eggs Benedict with a generous helping of country potatoes. I'm going to breakfast there tomorrow, too. The owners/waitstaff are lovely, cheerful, and friendly. The cafe is clean, prices are reasonable, AND they filter the chlorine from the drinking water ~ another plus! So far, the food has been above 'average', presents well upon serving, hitting the bells on color, texture, AND taste. Try it; I don't believe you'll have ANY regrets... Next day: Had the Mom's Omelet but requested Monterrey Jack cheese instead of Swiss. AGAIN, got fed a healthy, nutritious breakfast. I'm really impressed with this very welcoming and happy place. They have inside seating as well as patio seating. The servers were amazing. They were so warm and welcoming. Every one of the server and owners (Michelle, Eden and Alex) had stopped by our table and introduced themselves to us. The hospitality was incredible. Since we have our little lap dog with us, we have to sit at the patio which was lovely. We were surrounded by beautiful flower garden, it was peaceful and relaxing. They are pre-made already on the donut shelf. And when you order them, they microwave it in the wrap, causing the sandwich to be soggy. And then they hand you the sandwich in the heated wrap. I don't feel super comfortable eating something that has been warmed and possibly plastic lined. At least put it on a paper plate? It was weird they served the sandwich in the same thing they microwaved it in. This is the kind of place where the staff knows the regulars. But I'm not sure they are as friendly to folks just coming through town. Overall, we had an okay experience.

I also had the Caesar salad with chicken. You can tell a great Caesar by the quality of the dressing. It was thick and creamy and coats each piece of Romaine lettuce nicely. I have no doubt the croutons were homemade. Love places that give lemon wedges with the salad. Everything I ate was delicious. The service from the staff was also excellent. I have been staying away from sweets since January so skipped the baked goods altogether. I will come back next time I'm in town.
