This place makes amazing pies. We came to pick a couple of small pies up to help celebrate the birth of my daughter at the hospital right down the street. Thankfully, we got there 20 min before closing time. Everyone was so helpful, and were excited to help us celebrate my daughter's birth. We ended up with a banana cream pie & peanut butter cream pie. Both were excellent, the crust on each pie was WOW! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other pies with my daughter in the future! read more

Pre-ordered a cherry pie for Thanksgiving and the pickup process the Wed before worked well- the pie came in a beautiful bag! When we finally ate the pie was perfect-nice blend of tart cherries with the perfect amount of sweet. The crust was very well done -not too thick or heavy. I would definitely recommend and order again. Thank you! read more

I am going to suggest that you never go here!! Because if you do you will keep going over and over. The pies are AMAZING! All of them!! Chocolate cream, key lime, strawberry rhubarb, snickerdoodle, pecan, and the list goes on.... and for a little secret - try the Cinnamon Roll!! Especially frosted. OH MY!! read more

Update to below: The owner stated that she "would check the cameras and get right back with me". She never did and we found out why. Sadly, after looking up the owner, Judy, online, we found out that it was her that was on the phone in the review below... My wife came in today to get some pies. As she was speaking to one of the employees about how cute the place was, another employee was on the phone and became very annoyed. She spoke to someone on the phone saying "I'm sorry I cannot hear you, we have a customer talking very loud!' My wife was the only one in the store at the time. Neither employee apologized. My wife still bought two pies but it will be our last. There are other options for desserts and we will visit those places. By the way, this is my first negative review of any business. Hopefully this was an aberration, but I cannot say... 1 read more

This is a very cute pie place off of Main Street in Grapevine. Lots of variety and very quaint. I got a chocolate chip cookie ($2) and mini 6in peanut butter chocolate pie ($12). The cookie was rock hard which was disappointing. There are lots of chocolate chunks but it was not as good as I hoped. The pie is good, no complaints but the price. I was not expecting it to be so pricey...especially compared to other pie shops in the area. I think this place is worth the try, just be aware of cost. I hope it was just an off day for the cookie read more

I had the coconut cream pie! And it was seriously the best pie I ever had!!! The staff is so sweet, nice, and super helpful! Can't wait to come back read more

JudyPie - Bakeries Near Me - Grapevine, Texas

We were visiting from Houston for Spring break to enjoy the train excursion. When we arrived back we were walking down Main street enjoying the car show and saw Judy's Pies bakery. We had already had dinner and a sweet treat sounded good. And what a pleasant surprise. The pies we ate were so delicious, not overly sweet, just right. We will definitely stop here again when we visit Grapevine again. read more

I noticed this the other day and had been dying to drop in. I was not disappointed. You could sample anything, and they must've had over a dozen pie flavors to choose from. Everything i tried was great, but key lime was off the charts. I can't wait to take friends and family back here to try it. read more

Judy Pie delivers where grocery store pie leaves you wanting something better. Worth the drive over especially on a weekend night.

The staff is very friendly, very clean store and great service. They have free samples and that way you can be sure that you are buying what you like. The problem is that everything is so delicious that I wanted one of each, my favorites are the key lime pie, the chocolate cream pie and the apple pie. read more

The best key lime pie I have had in dfw. It had right amount of tart line taste and sweetness. The cream on top was tasty too. Only con would be the slices are small. read more

I got a pie for thanksgiving since I have heard people rave about this place. I really wanted to support this local business. My experience was that the apple crumb pie was awful with little flavor. Such a a waste of $48. What a rip off. It tastes like a commercially baked pie that is made with poor ingredients. I will never go back. I question the made from scratch they advertise. I would not recommend this business. read more

Oh Judy Pie how I love thee! From cinnamon rolls to Pie Day slices ($3!) Judy never fails to deliver. The best crust, flaky and full of so much fruit!! Today I got the blueberry ginger and a plain cherry. Brought them home and am now in a pie coma. I also tried a cinnamon roll a few weeks ago and I'm telling you it was worth every single calorie. So much cinnamon and so much ooey gooey frosting. Srsly, go get one. Now a staple for when friends are visiting me in Grapevine. read more

$50 per pie for a crunchy banana cream pie... the bananas were not ripe at all. Would give no stars if I could. Do not recommend this pie shop. read more

We visited this cute bakery/pie shop and bought over $100 in pies. Though the strawberry rubarb was good, the banana cream pies and the peanut butter banana cream pies were both terrible. They used unripe bananas in them that were so bitter and texture was off-putting. We are throwing them all away. What a waste. I hate wasting food. read more

I was very excited to try the pies here. The banana cream mostly. I got banana cream, Strawberry Rubarb, and the chocolate pie. In both the banana cream and the chocolate pie I could taste too much cinnamon. In the banana cream it was too much in the crust, It took away from the taste of the banana cream. And in the chocolate it was in the cream on top. I think the pies would have been better if I takes the bananas and the choice more and less cinnamon. Its just a preference. The pies were good quality though. read more

We love everything about this place from its presentation to its taste. The pies, cookies, mini-eclairs and Ice cream are all awesome! Please go here and try as much as you can afford. You will not be disappointed! read more

We recently moved to Grapevine and tried out Judy Pies for Thanksgiving pies... we are SO glad we did! My family loved the apple crumble, pumpkin and peach bourbon pies. Excellent food, great service, will definitely be back! read more

Love this shop! Pies are amazing. They have a large selection of pies and each one is as delicious as the next. I know... I sampled about five of them. The crust is just like my momma's. I'm only thankful I don't live nearby as I wouldn't fit in my jeans. Yummy, yummy pies. read more

As a lover of pies - I sought out this cutesy place. We loved the chance to sample a few pies and all were better then the one we chose-Adohree-A-Doodle . I don't think there was an fault in the pie. It just needed to sit out and warm up a bit. It was super sweet. I should have tried their fried pies. I look forward to returning... read more

Amazing pies. Very fun and unique environment that you'd expect from downtown Grapevine. The staff is great and there is a small table for kids to color in some provided coloring books... The owner used to be a teacher, so she knows how that helps with kids behaving while mom and dad try some pie samples! Great coffee selection too. Highly recommend the keylime pie and pecan pie! read more

Have had awesome Strawberry Rhubarb pie here and some not so flavorful maple bourbon peach. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly read more

We have stopped at JudyPie on many occasions and it is always delicious. My son-in-law asked me to order pies from here for our daughter's graduation from nursing school. I ordered a Pecan Pie, Chocolate Cream Pie, and Bourbon Peach Pie with crumble topping. We paid $40-$45 each, which I will admit, is a big sticker shock. My first thought: I'm pretty good at making pies. I could have saved us some money. Then again ... The crust. Oh my word, I have tried and tried to make a good crust and a few times I've come close but nowhere close to this. This crust is like biting into a taste of heaven. Seriously, the best pie crust I have ever tasted. Buttery, flaky, heavenly ... even a day or two later. The Pecan Pie. I just can't even explain. The ultimate comfort pie and hers is the best. And I am a pecan pie snob. The Chocolate Cream: I never ate any but I heard all the "Oh my word" and "this is delicious" comments. It was the first pie to disappear. The Bourbon Peach: This was my husband's favorite. He loves fruit pies and thought this was one of the best. I did try a slice the next day. Again, the crust. There are no words. I also liked the peach filling but I am not a fan of crumble topping. That being said, this is the best crumble topping I've ever had. So, expensive? Yes. I would not pay $45 for a pie for tonight's dessert. I would pay that for a special occasion and this was indeed a very special occasion. The pies made the occasion sweeter. read more

The Pie will make you say "OH my", the crust is must, their apple crumble will make you fumble.

Please stop by this sweet shop if you're on Main Street. We stopped by after lunch and I bought a blueberry pie tart. It was one of the best pies that I've eaten. Look forward to buying pies from you in the future. read more

Saw this place and its pictures on yelp. Selection was good and pies looked amazing. Pricing was on the high side. Paid like $16 for 2 slices of pie. Unfortunately this was the most overrated pie ever. Might as well head to walmart and pick up one yourself. read more

Such a cute shop and the Strawberry Rhubarb pie was delish! So happy I bought a mini pie while visiting Grapevine.

Really good. I ordered from Uber Eats , a 6 inch cherry pie and 6 inch chocolate pie. The cherry pie is ok because I prefer a higher crust ratio to filling ratio. The chocolate one is really good, not to sweet. read more

Kind people, excellent pie. Went in after having a burger and enjoyed the cherry pie. Thick fluffy crust, warm cherry filling, and topped with a light dusting of sugar. I will definitely be back and recommend Judy's to anyone looking for a good slice in grapevine. read more

My husband and I had the chocolate pie. It was so chocolatey and delicious! We tried one cold and another warmed up with ice cream. Both were very good! My in laws had the pecan pie with ice cream. I tried a bite. It was very good, not too sweet. I highly recommend them both. We ended up taking a chocolate pie home, as well. I can't imagine it lasting very long. The owner also mentioned that they will be holding baking classes! How fun?! read more

JudyPie is the cutest and most delicious pie shop in all of Texas! It is absolutely adorable and so welcoming. I loved it the moment I walked in. My grandmother was an incredible baker and this place reminds me of her. The pies are absolutely delicious and they have such a large variety of options including gluten free, paleo, vegan, and kept options as well. I tried the Vanilla Blueberry noCheeseCake jar, the Vanilla Blueberry noCheeseCake, and the Vanilla Chocolate Cheesecake. Each one is delightful in its own way and very healthy. These desserts are plant based and made with organic, non-GMO, non-toxic ingredients. The Vanilla Blueberry jar is a mouthwatering blend of creamy and tart and the perfect size for a treat. The Vanilla Blueberry Cheesecake will literally knock your socks off. The two stacked layers of sweet blueberry and creamy vanilla is the perfect combo that will have you wanting to waste an ounce of this goodness! It is amazing that something this healthy can taste so good! The Vanilla Chocolate is delicious in its own way. It is a tasty blend of both chocolate and creamy flavors as well but it is not too sweet. You can taste that it is healthy and it makes it a guiltless dessert. It's the perfect sweetness and a refreshing new dessert to try! Don't waste another minute! Go visit JudyPie in downtown Grapevine! It will be your new favorite place! read more

Yum. Memphis pie was delicious, chocolate, peanut butter and bananas. Just stumbled in to this place and bought two pies, Memphis and strawberry rhubarb, both were fresh and delicious. I will definitely shop here again. read more

YUM! We got a few pies and tried the chocolate pie in the store. It was so good, perfect amount of sweet and rich chocolate. I can't wait to try the rest of them! I will definitely be making the hour trip back to get more! read more

Amazing new pie shop on Main Street in Grapevine! A wide assortment of homemade pies that you can see them making through a window to the back. They also have two sizes of pie to choose from, 6 inch or 9 inch. We got a breakfast quiche for the next day, ham and cheese with a hash brown crust. Also got a pecan pie, cinnamon roll, and Nutella fried pie, along with a cinnamon cream fried pie. Pretty sure I'll be a regular here! Owners were also very friendly and helpful! read more

After waiting 15 minutes behind 2 customers, 1 ordering 3 pies and the other just 1 pie, I ordered a slice of rhubarb, a Mac & Cheese pie, and a Shepard's pie. The girl immediately took my CC for payment and did not bring it back to me while continuing to take orders from people behind me. As I waited, I watched 5 employees saunter around, absolutely no hurry or desire to get the customers taken care of. After 10 minutes, my CC was brought back to me but not my order. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe I had ordered something that had to be prepared but then the people behind me started receiving their orders with the same items so, not the case. The girl who took my order let me stand there, not bothering to let me know why the wait or asking what I was waiting on. After another 5 minutes and being the only customer left, I asked about my order. She put her hands on her head like the question was just too much for her and said "What did you order?". I should have just canceled and gotten a refund but I thought that would take longer than getting the actual order so, I repeated the order. She went back and came out with a bag and said "Apple crumb, Chicken Pot pie, and Shepard's pie". The customers who had arrived and placed their order about 5 minutes prior to this said, "that's ours". I repeated my order again and she walked to the back with absolutely no sense of urgency or care. After another 5 minutes, a different girl brought a bag and said "chicken pot pie, Mac & Cheese pie, and slice of rhubarb". I said it was supposed to be Shepard's not Chicken and she went to ask the other girl what my order was to prove me wrong. I said I'm not waiting any longer and just took the wrong order and left. I ate the rhubarb yesterday, basically the same pie I can get at Kroger, canned filling. Today I decided to eat the Mac & Cheese and opened the bag to find the first pie was Shepard's!! Great, they did give me the right one after all. It was for my husband so he'd be excited. Pull out the second pie and It's chicken pot pie, not Mac & Cheese.......Absolute failure and waste of money. read more

I want to give a 3.5 but it's not an option. They have an impressive pie selection making it hard to choose just one. The environment is kitschy but who cares b/c it's still fun to a have a place to enjoy some pie. Husband and I loved the Coconut Cream & Apple Pies we ate in the store. Unfortunately the Peach Pie we brought home contained extremely crunchy peaches that were not ripe- sad because the sample that sold me on it was great. This is a bit out of our way so nothing to be done :( read more

While Judy Pie has good pies, they lack many things. Like being open when you go and it says open. This has now happened to us two times in a row. We check their website, check the hours and go. Only to be told it's closed. Also, their slices have gotten significantly smaller over the years and for the price, it is high for the size. read more

Absolutely delicious...you must rry the buttermilk pie with a side of vanilla bean custard.

I purchased 3 pies at Thanksgiving. The lemon meringue pie had a layer of parchment paper in the filling. Other than that it was tasty. I tried calling Judy several times but could not reach her. I sent her an email via the website and she apologized and offered a free pie certificate which I never received. The other 2 pies, a pumpkin and a coconut creme were good. All three pies were smaller than expected and at $35 per pie they are very overpriced. Great pies can be purchased elsewhere for a more reasonable price (and without the paper in the filling). I would not recommend Judy Pie. J. Winfrey Southlake, TX read more
